Jesus feeds the birds of the air (your heavenly Father feeds them)
Matthew 6:26. Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
26. Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
Shalom! This is the third time I have been sharing grace on this topic recently. This is Matthew 6:25-34. Jesus' words to not worry are urging us not to worry at all about what to eat or what to wear for our precious lives and bodies, but to seek first his kingdom and righteousness.
Jesus is the Creator of the world. Chapter 1 of the Gospel of John reveals that all things in the world were created through Jesus. And at the time when these words were spoken, that is, about 2,000 years ago, the One who was the King of Heaven came to this Earth and said that the Father in heaven would feed the birds, but now he has completed the work of saving mankind through the cross and has been resurrected and sits at the right hand of God. As he sits, he rules over and has all authority in heaven and earth. So, it is not at all surprising that Jesus feeds the birds of the air.
I am past my 60th birthday and I studied really hard when I was younger. I studied for the civil service exam in college and graduate school, completed graduate school in theology, and have been reading and organizing the Bible non-stop for over 25 years. Now that I have a certain understanding of the Bible, I want to focus more on preaching and teaching, but God tells me to learn. The word learner means not to forget that Jesus is the teacher and leader of all Christians and that we are all in a position to learn as brothers and sisters, but it also means that we have a lot to learn.
And I want to learn English even harder, and recently I learned that learning about the geography and history of neighboring countries is a very necessary element in evangelizing them, but since I don't have much knowledge about this, I also realized that I need to learn it well. However, I am getting older, my son is now going to college, and there are so many things I have not yet done as the head of the family. But God tells me not to worry and to learn, so I believe I should do that. Any normal aging family head would never understand me.
You have nothing, but if the Lord, who has everything, tells you to do so, you can do it. We must firmly believe without any doubt about the existence of Almighty God, His love for us, and His Word, the Bible. I have lived a religious life for about 40 years since I was a young man, and the financial aspect has not improved much, either then or now. This is because what I earned for a long time was just enough to live on, so I always did not have savings or extra money. These were days when I had to endure everything and live with patience.
And while I am living my life by evangelizing, reading the Bible, organizing (summarizing), and sharing the grace God has given me, I have no choice but to obey when he tells me to study again. In reality, I have come to believe that I cannot evangelize or love well if I only know a little about the Bible. I feel that it is very necessary to know about the big, wide world, about Korea where we live, neighboring countries, and the whole world where we will spread the gospel. Without knowing this, I thought that all I had to do was read the Bible, organize it, and spread it. However, I can convey the truth to so many people around the world if I preach it directly in English, but I have limitations due to my lack of English, so I will have to learn this well as well.
Learning costs money, and in order to learn, we have to give up many other things. In order to study, we must restrain ourselves and give up on things we want to do. And learning costs money, and we must sit in a position to learn at a time when we can make money, and we must invest our time and energy intensively. The Lord still wants me to learn. So, I need to give up everything and study.
If you wait for a long time to find an opportunity to believe or an excuse to believe, time will only pass. If you do this, you will suffer and miss out on good things without being able to hold on to them. And by examining the Bible too closely and rationally waiting until one believes in the Bible or God, one may serve Jesus by missing out on much more in a short life than a person who just believes. First of all, it is very necessary to firmly believe in God and His Word. If you have this faith, you will also believe these verses. Even if our current situation does not seem good and the future is uncertain, we can trust in God and live peacefully without worry. And we no longer need to be so hung up on the issue of making a living, which people in this world are so interested in and sacrifice their bodies and lives to pursue. In other words, we become free.
Recently, God gave me a precious stone and told me to meditate on this verse and study it. And as I looked at the stone and meditated on these words, I realized that it was necessary not to dispose of the stone, but first to believe in the word of God, that is, in Matthew 6:25-34, so I decided to believe in the word. At my age, it is time to think about old age, health, and family. I have no money saved, no house, and I had my son late, so now he has to go to college. But God tells me not to worry about all this and to study, so I will obey. And I introduce the stone. I pray that everyone who reads this will take a look and see the image of Jesus feeding birds in the sky with clouds, believe in the above words, and be free from all worries. The Word comes first, and faith in God’s existence and love for us comes before the Word. And I hope you just enjoy the stones I show you and help you meditate on the words above. I hope you don't get too distracted by stones.
I pray that you will not be amazed when you look at the stone, but that you will be blessed by believing the Bible verse above as you see the image of Jesus feeding birds in the sky with clouds. I did that. All passages are introduced verbatim. There are two posts posted before this one, so I pray that you will read them, receive grace, and be blessed with freedom from all worries and concerns.
25. "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?
26. Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
27. Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
28. "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
29. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
30. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31. So do not worry, saying, `What shall we eat?' or `What shall we drink?' or `What shall we wear?'
32. For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
33. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
34. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Good God! I give thanks and praise to you for always being with me so that I can endure the long years, and for guiding the foolish and lazy with comfort and encouragement. In particular, I thank you for constantly giving me the joy of understanding while reading and summarizing the Bible. Through the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of redemption on the cross, a vicious sinner was able to spread the blessed truth to the whole world. And with the indwelling, comfort, and constant presence of the Holy Spirit, I persevered little by little and preached the gospel. I have always wanted to pursue temptation and go into the world. Everything is the amazing grace of God. May the name of our Lord Jesus Christ be praised forever and ever. Hallelujah!
I earnestly pray that all Christians around the world will let go of their worries and focus on loving one another, spreading the gospel to their neighbors, going out into the world and practicing justice, and participating in reading and organizing the Bible. I pray that the will of the Lord will be accomplished, that the kingdom of the Lord will come quickly, and that the righteousness of the Lord will shine like the sun in the sky. We pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. amen
