어제 아시아 증시는 검은 금요일 이었습니다.
한국증시는 3.4%, 일본 2.9%, 중국 1.9%, 홍콩 3.3% 와 함께 동반하락했습니다.
증시의 하락요인은 트럼프의 관세전쟁 위협과 인공지능(AI) 칩 대기업 엔비디아의 부진으로 보입니다.
원-달러 환율도 1,463.4원으로 지난 3주일 최저치로 하락했습니다.
전문가들은 관세전쟁은 이제 시작단계이기때문에 환율변동성이 더 커질 것을 우려하고 있습니다.

Korean stocks tumbled over 3 percent Friday, dragged down by a possible tariff war threat by U.S. President Donald Trump and a slump in artificial intelligence (AI) chip giant Nvidia. The local currency fell sharply to a three-week low against the U.S. dollar.
금요일 한국증시는 도널드 트럼프 미국대통령의 관세전쟁 위협과 인공지능(AI) 칩 대기업 엔비디아의 부진으로 3% 이상 하락했다. 원화는 미국 달러 대비 3주 최저치로 급락했다.
 
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) lost 88.97 points, or 3.39 percent, to close at 2,532.78, following a 0.73 percent drop on the previous day.
종합주가지수(KOSPI)는 전날 0.73% 하락한 데 이어 88.97포인트(3.39%) 하락한 2,532.78로 마감했다.
 
It is the lowest closing since Feb. 10, when the KOSPI finished at 2,521.27.
이는 코스피가 2,521.27로 마감한 2월 10일 이후 가장 낮은 종가이다.
 
Trade volume was heavy at 573.3 million shares worth 15 trillion won ($10.3 billion), with decliners far outnumbering gainers 832 to 94.
거래량은 15조 원(103억 달러)에 달하는 5억 7,330만 주로 증가했으며, 감소주는 832대 94로 상승주를 훨씬 앞질렀다.
 
Foreign and institutional selling drove the plunge, dumping a net 1.5 trillion won and 615.9 billion won, respectively. Individuals, however, scooped up a net 2 trillion won.
외국인과 기관의 매도세가 각각 1조 5,000억 원과 6,159억 원을 순매도하며 급락세를 주도했다. 그러나 개인은 2조 원을 순매수했다.
 
Overnight in the United States, Trump announced plans to impose tariffs on China, Mexico and Canada, rekindling fears over a possible tariff war across the world.
밤사이 미국에서 트럼프는 중국, 멕시코, 캐나다에 관세를 부과할 계획을 발표하며 전 세계적으로 관세전쟁 가능성에 대한 우려를 다시 불러일으켰다.
 
On Wall Street, shares of Nvidia tumbled 8.5 percent as its better-than-expected fourth-quarter earnings failed to revive investor sentiment on AI, which has been cooled by China's DeepSeek.
월스트리트에서 엔비디아의 주가는 예상보다 양호한 4분기 실적이 중국의 딥시크로 인해 냉각된 AI에 대한 투자 심리를 되살리지 못하면서 8.5% 하락했다.
 
In Seoul, semiconductor and information technology (IT) shares were among the biggest losers.
서울에서는 반도체와 정보기술(IT) 주가가 가장 큰 폭으로 하락했다.
 
Chip giant Samsung Electronics sank 3.2 percent to 54,500 won, and SK hynix, a key supplier to Nvidia, slumped 4.52 percent to 190,200 won.
칩 대기업 삼성전자는 3.2% 하락한 54,500원, 엔비디아의 핵심 공급업체인 SK하이닉스는 4.52% 하락한 190,200원을 기록했다.
 
Top online platform company Naver tumbled 5.48 percent to 207,000 won and its rival Kakao declined 2.92 percent to 43,150 won.
상위 온라인 플랫폼 기업인 네이버는 5.48% 하락한 207,000원, 경쟁사인 카카오는 2.92% 하락한 43,150원을 기록했다.
 
Leading battery maker LG Energy Solution lost 4.99 percent to 352,000 won, and instant noodle maker Samyang Food slid 2.71 percent to 860,000 won.
선도적인 배터리 제조업체인 LG에너지솔루션은 4.99% 하락한 352,000원을 기록했고, 라면 제조업체인 삼양식품은 2.71% 하락한 86만 원을 기록했다.
 
Samsung Biologics, a bio tech unit under Samsung Group, skidded 3.71 percent to 1.11 million won, and content production studio CJ ENM fell 2.1 percent to 60,700 won.
삼성그룹 산하 바이오테크 계열사인 삼성바이오로직스는 3.71% 하락한 111만 원, 콘텐츠 제작 스튜디오인 CJ ENM은 2.1% 하락한 60,700원을 기록했다.
 
The local currency was quoted at 1,463.4 won against the greenback at 3:30 p.m., down 20.4 won from the previous session.
현지통화는 오후 3시 30분에 달러 대비 1,463.4원으로 전 세션보다 20.4원 하락했다.
 
It marked the highest won-dollar rate quoted at 3:30 p.m. since Feb. 7, when it hit 1,467.2 won against the U.S. dollar.
2월 7일 미국 달러 대비 1,467.2원을 기록한 이후 오후 3시 30분 기준으로 가장 높은 원-달러 환율을 기록했다.
 
Bond prices, which move inversely to yields, ended higher. The yield on three-year Treasurys fell 2.6 basis points to 2.566 percent, and the return on the benchmark five-year government bonds lost 3.4 basis points to 2.646 percent.
수익률과 반대로 움직이는 채권 가격은 상승세로 마감했다. 3년 만기 국채수익률은 2.6bp 하락한 2.566%, 벤치마크 5년 만기 국채 수익률은 3.4bp 하락한 2.646%를 기록했다.
