SACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) - With Bobby Jackson likely lost for at least the regular season, the Sacramento Kings on Friday began addressing life without their pivotal reserve guard.

After officially placing Jackson on the injured list with a left wrist injury, the Kings claimed veteran guard Eddie House off waivers from the Milwaukee Bucks.

The 26-year-old House averaged 3.2 points in five games for the Bucks before being released on Wednesday. He started this season with Charlotte, averaging 11.1 points and 1.85 steals in 13 games for the expansion club.

A second-round pick of the Miami Heat in 2000, House has a career scoring average of 7.1 points in 247 games.

Jackson underwent surgery Monday to insert two pins in the wrist bone to help stabilize a major ligament. He is expected to be sidelined up to four months. The NBA's best sixth man in 2002-03, Jackson was averaging 12.3 points in 23 games this season.
