상기 인용한 것들을 통계적으로 보면 확실하게
King James Version 성경이 숫적으로 열세인 것처럼 보입니다.

그런데 킹제임스1611 이전에 출판된 대부분의 영어성경에서는
요한계시록 13장 16절에 "on" 전치사 사용을 하지 않았고
"in" 전치사를 사용했습니다.
최근에 출판된 영어성경에서는 대부분 "on" 전치사를 사용하고 있습니다.

지난 1970~80년대 바코드가 짐승의 표로 주장했던 분들은
현대에 쓰여진 영어성경 전치사 "on"을 신뢰했고
바코드(Barcode)가 피부 표면위에 문신하는 것처럼 프린팅하는 것으로
추정했던 것 같습니다.
그래서 "in" 전치사보다는 "on" 전치사 단어사용이 적합하게 보였을 것입니다.
