Waking in the morning, I gaze upon Your face,

Amazed to see Your image reflected in my grace.

In every breath I take, Your will alone be done,

Experiencing the Cross, the death of night so deep,

Until I see Your face at last, when from my journey I sleep.

The path that leads to You is the way of letting go,

The Cross, my death, and then the life of Resurrection flow.

In emptying and humbling, I grow more like my Lord,

In the mystery of 'No' and 'Yes', Your presence is restored.

Each moment is a dance with the Holy Trinity,
