Hey people!
Double D giving you the James Motors Blog Post once again !
It is now Saturday.
Can't wait to get off work and just chillax with a cold beer!
But before we do that... we need to get some work done !
Today we will
Fix heater pipes / Rearrange tools / Work on a 13' stock Electra Glide.
Let's Go !!!
Early in the morning I walked past Project J to find a lot of new parts for it.
Working on this project is always fun.
It looks like the tank is starting to look like something.
Hope it gets done soon !
First before anything ,
Mr.Han decides to fix a part of the pipe for our heater.
The pipes are so hot you can see them steaming.
But Mr.Han shows no fear !
Hahaha...
You can see he is using chopsticks because it is too hot.
Be careful now !!
I was worried because the pipes get as hot as 2~300 degrees Celsius.
Can you see the way he tries to get it done perfectly even thought its crazy hot?
In the second picture you can see the steam coming up from the pipes.
Ge did a great job !
Without this heater.. it gets soooo cold.
Thank you Mr.Han !!
Now it was time to get these new tools in order.
When we went to the states a few months ago we had bought a new tool set
for a great deal.
Now to get them settled in.
So we brought out all the old tools as well.
Decided to throw away what we didn't need.
So everything was placed on the floor.
However....
It was hard to throw out the old tools...
I thought we had tons of tools...
But after looking at them all placed out on the ground ..
It does not look like we have many.
Now everything looks much more organized !
So here we have..
Combination wrench M set / Inch set / Torque wrenches / 6 & 12 point Socket set / Hex Socket Set /
and so on !
Next we organized our mini tool stand.
It isn't filled with great tools but we have enough to get our job done !
There is a saying,
"A true lumberjack never blames his ax."
We promise to give you guys our best when it come to work !!
These are the tools that are used the most.
The vernier caliper is used to get exact measurements.
When it is placed in with other tools it seems to get damaged a lot.
Anyways...
Organizing these tools took much longer than expected.
Lunch was even pushed back an hour.
But you guys should no us by now.
Once something gets started it needs to get finished !!
So here is the 13' Electra Glide.
Before the custom work begins the guys are going to strip it down.
So we just got it ready on the lift.
Aaron is lookin pretty good.
After the saddle bags were removed
We placed them safely on the bag stands.
Looks safe aye?
Now for the big old tour pack.
Mr.O looks like he's got this down easy.
Once the rear is all off
the bike doesn't really look like much.
Everything that gets stripped down is neatly placed onto the shelves.
We try to do this so nothing goes missing.
But the thing is.. even though we organize the parts some always find a way to get missing.
I swear there is a bolt ghost around here just taking them.
LOL !!
:)
Looks like the rear, front, and gas tank are all stripped down.
We did this so we can start right away on monday !!
I have a feeling we are going to get a lot busier !
Last but not least !!
Our lovely Mr. Kim is making a drill stand for all the drills and tips.
The guys here at James Motors have a lot of tricks up their sleeves.
Anyways Our Saturday has ended already !
Hope you guys get some rest and have a great weekend !!
See yall next Monday !!!
Much Love from the
James Crew !!
