Mi experiencia sobre el seminario de Haedong Kumdo en México dirijo por el presidente de
la asociación mexicana Jair de Jesús Rangel Tinajero y presidente mundial y fundador Gran
Máster kim Jeong Seong, El día 19 de septiembre del 2025.

Llegué al intensivo de Kim, donde por primera vez lo conocí en persona, me gustó mucho la manera en que explicaba las cosas, el cómo nos enseñaba la manera de mover la muñeca con la espada y en el Kimu, también vimos un poco de acupuntura, Máster Kim nos explicó cómo funcionaba a través de la energía, que hace unos años había curado a la esposa de mi profesor
Jair, de una lesión en la rodilla y con la técnica de acupuntura y energía consiguió calmarle
todo el dolor e inflamación.

Conocí varios maestros como al prescindente de Haedong Kumdo en Colombia Alexander que próximamente el llevará acabo el próximo seminario en Colombia.
Cuando estaba en mi examen de cinta negra primer DAN estaba muy nervioso al igual que
los compañeros, estuvo muy bien porque cada parte del examen eran cosas que ya sabíamos,
solo era mantener la calma para no desconcentrarnos, el maestro Emmanuel que también
concluía su examen para segundo DAN, nos sorprendió en el corte de pepino con su corte de
tijera muy bien hecho y su corte de bambú muy preciso. Una ves que terminó estaba muy
emocionado por ver los resultados del examen, ya que Kim fue quien los calificó y solo
podíamos fallar 3 veces.
Kim nos llamo para darnos los resultados, me sentí tan feliz al saber que concluí mi examen
al igual que mis compañeros, Kim nos entregó nuestros certificados, uniforme y la cinta del
primer DAN, nos dijo que nos fuéramos a cambiar y poner el nuevo uniforme, nos dio una
plática del como hicimos nuestros exámenes y dijo que teníamos que practicar mucho el
ángulo de las espadas. Nos empezamos a tomar fotos con él y con todos los integrantes para
finalizar ese grandioso día.
El día siguiente llegamos para empezar el seminario, Kim nos enseñó cómo se hacían los 12
Chacbaldosul a una espada era sorpréndete las explicaciones del Kim eran muy entendibles
y precisas, me gustaba mucho la manera en que nos enseñó cada uno de ellos, muy sencillos
a su manera de explicarlo y hacerlo, el reto era seguirlo y hacerlo como el, después nos enseñó
los de dos espadas, por el tiempo no terminamos los 12 pero los que nos enseñó muy bien
enseñados y comprendidos así concluyó ese día.
El último día y cierre del seminario fue más intenso, espectacular y divertido, empezamos
con unas formas creativas y muy interesantes de envainar las espadas, que involucraban
muchos giros de muñeca y saber mover la espada sin ningún problema. Las formas a dos
espadas fueron muy interesantes porque Kim nos enseñó y ayudó a perfeccionar nuestros Adrián Alexander Contreras Islas
cortes en la forma 1 y 2, dándonos consejos y explicaciones paso a paso de cómo llevar las
espadas de la manera correcta y las posturas, mejorando y corrigiendo el salto de la forma 2,
también como podríamos usar los nuevos envaines en las formas como exhibición para que
se viera mejor.
Para finalizar este gran seminario, Kim nos iba guiando en cómo hacer el corte de 3 pepinos,
pasamos uno por uno cortando y haciendo algunas demostraciones de cortes. Al finalizar, mi
maestro Jair nos entregó un certificado de participación en el seminario, nos empezamos a
tomar fotos, Disfrutamos un rato de la piscina que se encontraba en las instalaciones y
disfrutamos un buen rato de convivencia.
El día lunes 22 de septiembre del 2025 nos encontrábamos en nuestra escuela Dragones
Escarlata dirigida por mi maestro Jair, nos tomamos unas fotos todos juntos para recordar ese
grandioso fin de semana, Kim nos dio una charla muy cxxxxonmovedora de agradecimiento en
español, dándonos la despedida porque ya era hora de tomar su vuelo a Corea, nos
despedimos de Kim y con agradecimiento de todos los conocimientos que nos dejó antes de
irse.

My experience at the Haedong Kumdo seminar in Mexico, led by the president of the
Mexican association, Jair de Jesús Rangel Tinajero, and world president and founder, Grand
Master Kim Jeong Seong,
on September 19, 2025.


I attended Kim's intensive, where I met him in person for the first time. I really liked the way
he explained things, how he taught us how to move the wrist with the sword, and in Kimu,
we also saw a bit of acupuncture. Master Kim explained to us how it worked through energy.
A few years ago, he had cured my teacher Jair's wife of a knee injury, and with acupuncture
and energy techniques, he managed to calm all the pain and inflammation.
I met several masters, such as the president of Haedong Kumdo in Colombia, Alexander, who
will soon be holding the next seminar in Colombia.
When I was taking my first DAN black belt exam, I was very nervous, as were my classmates.
It was great because each part of the exam was things we already knew. We just had to stay
calm so we wouldn't lose focus. Master Emmanuel, who was also finishing his second DAN
exam, surprised us with the cucumber cut with his very well-done scissor cut and his very
precise bamboo cut. Once it was over, I was very excited to see the exam results, since Kim
was the one who graded them and we could only fail 3 times.

Kim called us to give us the results. I was so happy to know that I finished my exam, just
like my classmates. Kim gave us our certificates, uniform, and first DAN ribbon. He told us
to go change into our new uniforms. He gave us a talk about how we did on our exams, and
said that we had to practice a lot with the angles of the swords. We started taking pictures
with him and all the members to end that great day. The next day we arrived to begin the
seminar. Kim showed us how to make the 12 Chacbaldosul with one sword. It was amazing.
Kim's explanations were very understandable and precise. I really liked the way he taught us
each one, very simple in his way of explaining and doing it. The challenge was to follow him
and do it like he did. Then he taught us the two-sword ones. Due to time, we didn't finish all
12, but the ones he taught us were very well taught and understood, and that's how the day
concluded.
The last day and closing of the seminar was more intense, spectacular, and fun. We started
with some creative and very interesting ways of sheathing the swords, which involved a lot
of wrist twists and knowing how to move the sword without any problem. The two-sword
forms were very interesting because Kim taught us and helped us perfect our cuts in forms 1
and 2, giving us tips and step-by-step explanations on how to carry the swords correctly and
in the correct postures, improving and correcting the jump in form 2, and also how we could
use the new sheaths in the forms as a display to make them look better.
To conclude this great seminar, Kim guided us through how to cut three cucumbers. We went
through them one by one, cutting and demonstrating some cutting techniques. At the end, my
teacher Jair gave us a certificate of participation in the seminar. We started taking photos. We
enjoyed the pool on the premises for a while and had a great time together.
On Monday, September 22, 2025, we were at our Scarlet Dragons school led by my teacher
Jair. We took some photos together to remember that great weekend. Kim gave us a very
moving talk of gratitude in Spanish, bidding us farewell because it was time to take his flight
to Korea. We said goodbye to Kim and were grateful for all the knowledge he left us before
leaving.
