When I was in third grade, I played dodgeball with my friends at a park after school. While trying to catch the ball, my friend kicked it, and it hit my finger. At first, I didn’t feel much pain, but I couldn’t move my finger, and it started turning purple. I went to the hospital and was told that my finger was broken and needed surgery. I stayed there for two days and had the operation. When I woke up, I felt very dizzy because of anesthesia. About a month later, the metal pin was removed, and it was the most painful moment I’ve ever experienced. Although I recovered and returned to normal life, this experience left me with a lasting trauma.
