(22) 에서 What if God 의 동사는 choosing to show ~ his power known 다음에 있는 bore 이다.물론 choosing to show 는 분사구문으로as he (God) chose to show ~ 를 줄였다.우리 말로 번역하면"하나님이 그의 분노함을 보이시고 그의 능력을 알게 하므로.."이다.
(23) 의 what if 는 이런일을 행하신다며 어떨까?(그런 일을 행하지 않으신다는 뜻이 담겨져있다)
