So much of what we 2)hold dear can 3)be touched by death, disaster, and decay. *What do we have that is certain? 4)To whom can we turn for assurance? Where do we find the power to live victoriously in good times and bad? In the Lord who gives us strength! 삶은 언제나 기복이 매우 심합니다. 우리가 애지중지하는 많은 것들이 죽거나, 재난을 당하거나, 낡게 됩니다. 우리 삶에 확실한 부분이 있나요? 굳게 의지할 수 있는 든든한 분이 계신가요? 좋거나 나쁜 때 언제든 승리하며 살아갈 수 있는 능력을 어디서 찾을 수 있을까요? 우리에게 능력을 주시는 주님안에서 가능합니다! ▶ Words & Phrases 1) ups and downs : 굴곡, 기복, 우여곡절 2) hold something/somebody dear : ~을 소중히 여기다 3) be touched by death, disaster, and decay = be touched by death, be touched by disaster, and be touched by decay - be touched by ~ : ~의 영향을 받다 *What do we have that is certain? - (비교) Do we have anything that is certain? → We have nothing that is certain. 4) turn to ~ : (도움·조언 등을 위해) ~에 의지하다 |
3. My Prayer O LORD God, Father of all creation, I confess that my life and the circumstances in which I try to live it are beyond my ability to control. I thank you for 1)being present to comfort, protect, guide, and empower me to face each situation 2)with confidence and assurance. Because you are with me, O loving Shepherd, I know I will have all I need to live victoriously for you until the day I go to share with you in your glory. In Jesus' name.
