Bible Reading - Proverbs 9:1~9

9:1 Wisdom has built her house; 지혜가 집을 짓고

she has hewn(깎아서 만들다) out its seven pillars. 지혜가 일곱기둥을 깎아내었다.

9:2 She has prepared her meat and mixed her wine; 

지혜(그녀)가 고기를 준비하며 포도주를 혼합했다.

she has also set her table. 지혜(그녀)는 또한 상을 차렸다.

9:3 She has sent out her maids, 그녀는 여종들을 내어보내며

and she calls from the highest point of the city.  그녀는 도시의 가장 높은 지점에서 부른다.

9:4 "Let all who are simple come in here!" 단순한 모든 자들은 여기로 오라.

she says to those who lack judgment. 그녀는 판단이 부족한 자들에게 말한다.

9:5 "Come, eat my food and drink the wine I have mixed.

오라, 내 음식을 먹고 내가 혼합한 포도주를 마시라.

9:6 Leave your simple ways and you will live; 너의 단순한 길을 떠나라, 그러면 네가 살리라.

walk in the way of understanding.명철의 길에서 걸으라.

9:7 "Whoever corrects a mocker(조롱하는자) invites insult; 

조롱하는 자를 고치려는 자는 누구든지 모욕을 초대한다.

whoever rebukes a wicked man incurs(초래하다) abuse(학대하다).

사악한 사람을 꾸짖는 사람은 누구든지 학대를 부른다.

9:8 Do not rebuke a mocker or he will hate you;

조롱하는 자를 꾸짖지 마라. 그렇지 않으면 그가 너를 미워할 것이다.

rebuke a wise man and he will love you.

현명한 사람을 꾸짖으라 그러면 그가 너를 사랑할 것이다.

9:9 Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still;

지혜로운 사람을 가르치면 그는 더욱 지혜로워질 것이다

teach a righteous man and he will add to his learning.

의로운 사람을 가르치면 그는 그의 학식에 더할 것이다.
