사도행전24장 말씀입니다.

[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 사도행전24장1. 닷새 뒤에 대제사장 아나니야가 장로들과 더둘로라 하는 어떤 변호인과 함께 내려와 총독에게 바울을 고발하므로And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and [with] a certain orator [named] Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.2. 바울이 불려 나오매 더둘로가 그를 고소하기 시작하여 이르되, 우리가 각하로 말미암아 크게 평온함을 누리고 또     각하의 돌보심으로 말미암아 이 민족에게 매우 귀중한 일들이 이루어졌으므로And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse [him], saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,3. 벨릭스 각하, 우리가 전적으로 감사를 드리며 항상 모든 곳에서 그것을 인정하나이다.We accept [it] always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness.4. 그럼에도 불구하고 내가 각하를 더 지치게 하려 하지 아니하오니 원하건대 우리의 몇 마디 말을 너그러이 들어     주옵소서.Notwithstanding, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I pray thee that thou wouldest hear us of thy clemency a few words.5. 우리가 보매 이 사람은 몹쓸 전염병 같은 자요, 세상 곳곳의 모든 유대인들 가운데서 선동을 일삼는 자며 나사렛     종파의 주모자인데For we have found this man [a] pestilent [fellow], and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:6. 그가 또한 가서 성전을 더럽히려 하므로 우리가 그를 붙잡아 우리 법에 따라 재판하려 하였나이다.Who also hath gone about to profane the temple: whom we took, and would have judged according to our law.7. 그러나 총대장 루시아가 우리를 기습하여 큰 폭력으로 우리 손에서 그를 빼앗아 데리고 가서But the chief captain Lysias came [upon us], and with great violence took [him] away out of our hands,8. 그의 고소인들에게 명령하여 각하께 나오라고 하였으니 각하께서 친히 그를 심문하시면 우리가 그를 고소하는 이     모든 일에 관하여 아실 수 있으리이다, 하매Commanding his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse him.9. 유대인들도 동의하며 이 일들이 그러하다고 말하니라.And the Jews also assented, saying that these things were so.10. 이에 총독이 바울에게 손짓하여 말하라고 하니 그가 응답하되, 각하께서 여러 해 동안 이 민족의 재판관이 된 것을      내가 알므로 더욱 즐거이 나를 위해 답변하리이다.Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:11.각하께서 이해하실 수 있는 바와 같이 내가 경배하러 예루살렘에 올라간 지 이제 겨우 열이틀밖에 되지 않았나이다.Because that thou mayest understand, that there are yet but twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem for to worship.12. 또 그들은 내가 성전에서 누구와 논쟁하거나 회당들이나 도시에서 사람들을 선동하는 것을 보지 못하였으므로And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:13. 지금 나를 고소하는 일들에 대하여 증거를 댈 수도 없나이다.Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.14. 그러나 내가 이것을 각하께 고백하오니 곧 나는 그들이 이단이라 하는 그 길을 따라 내 조상들의 [하나님]께        그렇게 경배하고 율법과 대언자들의 글에 기록된 것을 다 믿나이다.But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:15.또 그들도 스스로 인정하는바 [하나님]을 향한 소망을 내가 가졌으니 곧 죽은 자들의 부활 즉 의로운 자들의 부활과     불의한 자들의 부활이 있으리라는 것이니이다.And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.16. 이 소망 속에서 나는 [하나님]과 사람들을 향하여 항상 양심에 실족하게 하는 일이 없도록 스스로 힘쓰나이다.And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and [toward] men.17. 이제 내가 여러 해 뒤에 내 민족을 위해 구제물과 헌물을 가지고 와서Now after many years I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings.18. 드릴 때에 내가 무리와 함께 있지도 아니하고 소동을 일으키지도 아니한 채 성전에서 정결하게 된 것을 아시아에서      온 어떤 유대인들이 알게 되었나이다.Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult.19. 그들이 만일 무슨 일로 나를 고소하려거든 마땅히 여기 각하 앞에 와서 항의해야 하리이다.Who ought to have been here before thee, and object, if they had ought against me.20.그렇지 않으면 내가 공회 앞에 서 있을 때에 여기 있는 이 사람들이 내게서 무슨 악한 소행을 보았는지 말하게      하소서.Or else let these same [here] say, if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood before the council,21. 오직 내가 그들 가운데 서서 외치기를, 이 날 내가 너희로 인하여 불려나와 죽은 자들의 부활에 관해 심문을       받노라, 한 이 목소리 외에는 다른 것이 없나이다, 하니라.Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.22. 벨릭스가 이것들을 듣고는 그 길에 대해 더 완전히 알고 있었으므로 그것들을 연기하여 이르되, 총대장 루시아가      내려오거든 내가 너희 일에 관해 끝까지 알리라, 하고And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of [that] way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.23. 백부장에게 명령하여 바울을 지키게 하며 그에게 자유를 주게 하고 또 그의 친지들이 그를 섬기거나 그에게 오는      것을 그가 막지 못하게 하니라.And he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let [him] have liberty, and that he should forbid none of his acquaintance to minister or come unto him.24. 며칠 뒤에 벨릭스가 자기 아내인 유다 여자 드루실라와 함께 와서 바울을 불러 그리스도를 믿는 믿음에 관해 그의      말을 듣거늘And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.25. 바울이 의와 절제와 다가올 심판에 대하여 설명하니 벨릭스가 떨며 응답하되, 이번에는 네 길로 가라. 내게 적당한      때가 생기면 내가 너를 부르리라, 하고And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.26.또 바울에게서 돈을 받고 그를 풀어 주기를 바랐으므로 더 자주 사람을 보내 그를 부르고 그와 이야기를 나누니라.He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.27. 그러나 두 해가 지난 뒤에 보르기오 베스도가 벨릭스의 자리로 오매 벨릭스가 유대인들에게 기쁨을 주기 위해       바울을 결박한 채로 두니라.But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.
