Update: The video in the link clearly shows again the evidences of illegal construction. It is unjust that the judicial powers eventually imprisoned two. Dr. Song Kang-Ho and Br. Park Do-Hyun on July 5.  The two were moved to the Jeju Prison on July 9.

When Dr. Song and Br. Park crossed the silt-protectors on July 1 to investigate on illegal construction (destruction) without proper installation of silt-protectors, Dr. Song appealed to the coast guard to 'please record it’ saying the coast guard has all the equipment to do it. As reported numerous times, the supervising committee of the naval base project committee has nor only thoroughly connived illegal construction (destruction) but also lied on it. The policemen not punishing those so called supervising committee but arresting civilians who are righteously monitoring on the damage on the sea!

The video is a valuable record at the time of arrest, taken by Dr. Song and Br. Park underneath the water and at the very moment of arrest (at the end of video) for the charge of obstruction of business.

When their friends from Gangjeong came to the Jeju Coast Guard station to meet them, the two told that their camera was forcefully taken away without warrant on confiscation. When the visitors could finally take the camera from the policemen after long argument, they found that its battery was broken. When they exchanged it with another battery, the camera played well fortunately.

One member of Peace Nomad made the video from the scenes taken by the arrested two. Yes, you can say you are watching a video taken by the two at the risk of their lives.

Here are a few images of improper installation of silt protectors underneath water, taken by the two. The canvases of silt-protectors were either none, torn, tied, in violation of environmental impact assessment, which reads that the canvases should be spread to the sea bottom to reduce damage on the sea.

A Press conference denouncing the arrests of Dr. Song Kang-Ho and Jesuit Brother Park Do-Hyun as well as the total and disgusting on going environmental violations by the construction companies and the navy in collusion with the coast guard and police. Videos and pictures of the clear violations, which the two were arrested for bravely trying to expose, were provided for the press. Free Dr. Song and Brother Park!
