1) 냉전종식과 세계평화​

1. 냉전종식 - 3 

1985년은 소련이 한창 기고만장할 때였는데, 아버님이 댄버리에 계시면서 미국의 저명한 정치학자에게 스위스 제네바에서 소련제국의 멸망을 선포하라고 하셨습니다.

그때 그 사람을 포함해서 교회지도자들이 '아버님, 그것은 고려해 주시면 좋겠습니다. 소련제국의 멸망이라고 하지 말고 유연한 표현으로 발표했으면 좋겠습니다.'라고 하며 만류했는데, 아버님은 수정하는 것을 허락하시지 않았습니다. 그 결과는 아버님의 말씀대로 이뤄졌습니다.

아버님이 소련을 방문하신 직후에 3,000명이 이상의 청년들을 미국에 데려다가 교육했습니다. 그 후로부터 쿠데타로 인해 혼돈기가 오게 됐는데, 그때 그 청년들이 그 나라의 든든한 지팡이가 돼 줬습니다. (2006.7.5, 슬로바키아, 브라티슬라바)​

참아버님에 의해서 레닌의 동상이 철거된 것입니다. 참아버님께서는 고르바초프의 개방정책에 많은 협조를 하셨습니다. 그때 영어를 할 수 있는 3,000명의 학생들을 미국에 데려다가 교육한 것입니다.

'너희들이 알고 있는 공산주의를 가지고는 안 된다. 민주세계를 봐라. 생각을 바꾸기 위한 참사랑을 실천하는 생활을 하게 되면 너희들이 바라는 자유와 평화의 세상은 온다.'라고 교육해서 소련으로 돌려보냈습니다.

소련이 개방 정책을 펼치는 데 그 학생들이 큰 역할을 했습니다. 미국에서 교육받은 3,000명의 소련 학생들은 탱크 부대와 싸워서 쿠데타로부터 소련을 지켰습니다. (2017. 3. 12 천주청평수련원)

1985年はソ連が絶頂にあった頃でしたが、ダンベリーにおられたお父様が、アメリカの著名な政治学者にスイスのジュネーブでソ連帝国の滅亡を宣布せよとおっしゃいました。

その時、その人物や教会の指導者が「お父様、それは少しお考えになってみてはいかがでしょうか。ソ連帝国の滅亡とは言わずに、柔らかい表現で発表するのがよいと思います」と言って止めたのですが、お父様は修正することをお許しになりませんでした。その結果はお父様のみ言どおりになりました。

お父様がソ連を訪問なさった直後に3000人以上の青年をアメリカに連れていって教育しました。その後、クーデターによる混沌の時期となったのですが、その時、その青年たちが国の堅固な支えとなりました。（2006.7.5、スロバキア、ブラチスラバ）

真のお父様によってレーニンの銅像が撤去されたのです。真のお父様はゴルバチョフの開放政策に多くの協力をなさいました。その時に英語のできる3000人の学生をアメリカに連れていって教育をしたのです。

「あなたたちの知っている共産主義では駄目である。民主世界を見なさい。考えを変えて、『ため』に生きる真の愛を実践する生活をするならば、あなたたちの願う自由と平和の世の中は来る」と教育してソ連に返しました。

ソ連が開放政策を繰り広げるにあたり、その学生たちが大きな役割を果たしました。アメリカで教育を受けた3000人のソ連の学生は、戦車部隊と闘ってクーデターからソ連を守りました。（2017.3.12、天宙清平修錬苑）

1. Ending the Cold War - 3  

In 1985, while the Soviet Union was at its height, Father, who was in Danbury Prison told a famous American political scientist to declare in Geneva, Switzerland, the fall of the Soviet Empire.

He and many church leaders tried to dissuade Father, asking Father to reconsider and allow them to use a less definite expression‎, and announce that the Soviet Empire "might'' collapse.

Yet Father did not allow them to change it. In the end, it happened as Father predicted. Right after Father's visit to the Soviet Union, he brought more than 3,000 Russians to America to educate them.

Then a period of crisis came due to a coup, and these 3,000 young people became a strong pillar for the protection of their country. (2006.07.05, Bratislava, Slovakia)
 
True Father's influence led to the dismantling of statues of Lenin. True Father also cooperated with the policy of openness that Gorbachev implemented.

At that time, Father brought 3,000 English-speaking Russian students to workshops in America and educated them. He said, "Communism—as you know it—is limited. Look at democracy.

If you change the way you think and live a life of true love by living for the sake of others, the world of freedom and peace that you hope for will come.” He educated them and then sent them back to Russia.

Those students were an immense help in supporting the policy of openness. The 3,000 students, who were taught in the United States, were among the students who protested against the tanks in Moscow and protected their nation from a coup d'etat. (2017.03.12, CheongPyeong Training Center)
