갈라디아서 5:17 성령의 소욕은 육체를 거슬려서 육체의 소욕대로 못 하게 막으신다

육체의 소욕은 성령을 거스르고 성령의 소욕은 육체를 거스르나니

이 둘이 서로 대적함으로 너희의 원하는 것을 하지 못하게 하려 함이니라

New Living Translation

The sinful nature wants [to do evil], which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants.

And the Spirit gives [us] [desires //that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires].

These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.

New International Version

For [the flesh] desires [what is contrary to the Spirit], and [the Spirit] () [what is contrary to the flesh].

They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do [whatever you want].

English Standard Version

For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh,

for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things () you want to do.

개역개정은 '이 둘이 서로 대적함으로 너희의 원하는 것을 하지 못하게 하려 함이니라'고 하여 '이 둘'이 주체로 보이니

둘 다 너희의 원하는 것을 하지 못하게 하는 걸로 보이니 이상하고 NLT는 to carry out your good intentions라 번역하여

마치 sinful nature 죄성의 선한 의도를 못하게 한다는 오해가 생기고 NIV는 둘이 충돌한 결과로 원하는 걸 못한다 하나

ESV는 둘이 서로를 반대하는 내용을 컴마로 분리하여 삽입구로 씀으로 뒤에 온 부정사구의 주체가 성령님이 되었기에

성령께서 우리가 원하는 일들을 하는 걸 막기 위하여 육체의 소욕을 거슬려 반대하신다는 해석이 나오기에 좋게 보이니

독자가 오해하지 않게 독자 위주로 의미를 구성하는 작문이나 번역이 아니면 행간읽기로 사적해석이 나올 소지가 있다 

행간읽기를 유발하는 글은 잘 쓴 글이 아니고 오해만 유발하는 안 좋은 글이고 행간을 읽는 독자는 독자 아닌 소설가니

행간을 안 읽고 쓰인 글자가 주는 의미를 찾으려 노력하지만 잘 못 쓰인 글은 잘 못된 의미를 전달하므로 오해하게 되나

원래 성경은 성령님의 감화로 쓰인 글이기에 작가이신 성령님께 뜻을 물어야 정상이지만 글에서만 찾으니 머리 아프다

(단 진리의 영이 없는 세상 글은 진리진실을 있는 그대로 말하지 못 하므로 글자 그대로 믿을 수 없기에 행간읽기 한다)
