Bible Reading - Proverbs 10:1~10

10:1 The proverbs of Solomon: 솔로몬의 잠언이라.

A wise son brings joy to his father, 지혜로운 아들은 그의 아버지에게 기쁨을 가져오나

but a foolish son grief to his mother. 어리석은 아들은 그의 어머니에게 슬픔을 가져온다.

10:2 Ill-gotten treasures are of no value, 부정하게 얻은 재물은 무가치하나

but righteousness delivers from death.의로움은 죽음으로부터 구한다.

10:3 The LORD does not let the righteous go hungry 여호와께서 의인들은 굶주려 가지 않게하나

but he thwarts(좌절시키다) the craving of the wicked. 그러나 그는 악한 자의 욕망을 좌절시킨다.

10:4 Lazy hands make a man poor, 게으른 손은 사람을 가난하게 만들지만

but diligent hands bring wealth. 부지런한 손은 부유함을 가져온다.

10:5 He who gathers crops in summer is a wise son, 여름에 수확물을 거두는 자는 현명한 아들이나

but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son. 추수기에 잠자는 자는 수치스러운 아들이다.

10:6 Blessings crown the head of the righteous, 복들은 의인의 머리에 면류관이나 

but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked. 악한 자의 입은 폭력으로 가득하다.

10:7 The memory of the righteous will be a blessing, 의인의 기억은 복이 될 것이나

but the name of the wicked will rot. 악한 자의 이름은 썩을 것이다.

10:8 The wise in heart accept commands, 마음이 지혜로운 자는 명령을 받아들이지만 

but a chattering fool comes to ruin. 떠벌리는 어리석은 자는 망한다. 

10:9 The man of integrity walks securely, 진실한 사람은 안전히 걷지만

but he who takes crooked paths will be found out. 굽어진 길을 가는 자는 발각될 것이다.

10:10 He who winks maliciously causes grief, 악독하게 윙크하는 자는 슬픔을 일으킬 것이나

and a chattering fool comes to ruin. 떠벌리는 자는 멸망한다.
