The Law of Heaven, the Laws of the Earth, and Sin

The law of heaven is the law of God’s kingdom (heaven) in the spiritual world. God’s (heaven’s) law is the Word of God in the Bible (Jn 12:48, Heb 8:10, Rv 20:12). The laws of the earth are men’s laws that were legislated by each country; the Republic of Korea’s law is the Six Law Codes. God’s law book is His Holy Bible, and the earth’s (Republic of Korea’s) law book is the Compendium of Laws (Complete Book of the Six Major Laws) made by men.

Animals who live in mountains, seas, and waters have no laws. Because they have no laws, they live freely in content. When seen with the eyes of men, these animals don’t have hospitals, traffic officers, or even prisons. However, men have laws, so they are far from freedom. Also, they have hospitals and prisons. According to the Bible, there were no laws before the time of Moses. If there is no law, there is no sin. This is because there is no law to determine the sin. When looking at the present reality, which do you think is better, the world of animals without laws or the world of men with laws? Don’t you think the world of animals is better?

Even in the world of the heavenly kingdom, one receives punishment when one doesn’t keep the law of heaven. And even in the world of the earth, one receives punishment when one doesn’t keep the laws of the earth. Then, when the world becomes a world without sin, will laws disappear as well? Will laws exist when heaven, the era of seeing the old year out and ringing the new year in (Songguyeongshin), is fulfilled? Approximately 2000 years ago, Moses’ law came to an end and God and Jesus’ era of faith in the gospel of heaven was opened. Then, Jesus left after making the new covenant.

It is said that God’s new covenant is the recording of God’s law on one’s heart (Heb 8:10). Thus, the person who recorded all of God’s law on one’s heart is the one who has kept the new covenant, which is God’s law. Then, what are the contents of this law? The new covenant, which is God’s law, is the New Testament, the Book of Revelation. Recording this on one’s heart without adding to it or subtracting from it is being sealed with God’s law.

Jesus said that one can be forgiven of their sins by forgiving the sins of others (Lk 6:37). The Jews brought a sinner to Jesus and asked him what he would do to this sinner, telling him that Moses' law speaks of stoning such sinners to death. Jesus’ answer was to have the one without sin be the first to throw the stone (Ref. Jn 8:3-7). Jesus, the righteous one, was killed by sinners.

Physical laws must be kept in the physical world (earth), and heaven’s law must be kept in God’s world, heaven. That is why believers keep two kinds of laws. However, the laws of the earth don’t understand the law of heaven. What the earth considers as sin may not be a sin in heaven, and the righteousness of the earth may be a sin in the eyes of heaven. In this case, it will be difficult for the believers. Even a supreme court judge of this world must receive judgment as well as punishment if he doesn’t keep heaven’s law in the kingdom of heaven.

Although Jesus was righteous, he was punished and bore the cross according to the laws of the world. When the world becomes sinless, laws will disappear. The Bible says that even the plants and the animals are raised by God. If people love one another just as animals love their young, there would be no quarrels and fights. It will be possible to live without laws when the hearts of men are created without sin.

The new covenant is the law, and this law is the book of Revelation. At the time of the fulfillment of Revelation, betrayers and destroyers come to an end, and the world of those who are born of Jesus’ blood and God’s seed and created according to God’s image and likeness is established. This is heaven. There was no law like that of today in Adam’s world. If there was a law, it was to not eat of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. Such law came to exist because there was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If the tree of the knowledge of good and evil disappears and only the tree of life remains, there is no need for the law.
