작가노트

대한민국의 현시대 사회라는 것이 황망하리만큼 독서를 하지 않는다. 안경을 쓴 (돋보기) 강아지들의 귀여운 모습에서 열심히 독허하는모습을 풍자로 그려 보았다.

귀여운 고양이는 책속에서 뿌잉뿌잉 희망을 귀염으로 작은 고양이는 그 모습을 지켜보는 모습으로 표현했다. 동참하고픈 어릴적 추억의 마징가는 승리의 주먹을 쥐고 창문틈으로 날아온다. 어릴적 독서왕이었던 모습의 반영이 창문틈으로 날아오는 기분이다.

채도가 낮은 책들속에서 밝음을 대조적으로 표현하고자 했다. 어둠속에 창문으로 새어나오는 빛을 흰색으로 미래를 향한 발전의 창으로 긴터널을 지나면 만나게 되는 축복의 빛처럼 생각이 든다. 많은 사람들이 열심히 독서하는 시대가 왔으면 하는 빛이다.

I tried to express brightness in contrast in books with low chroma. I think of the light leaking through the window in the dark as white as the light of blessing that I meet after passing through a long tunnel as a window of development toward the future. It is a light that I hope the era of many people reading hard will come.
