Strong Pulse of Abdonimal Aorta and Hypertension

One of signs for heart failure is strong pulse of abdominal aorta
on the upper of navel. The person who feeling the big pulse say
"Something on stomach is hopping."
"Something on abdomen is knocking my clothes."

This shows that the heart and vessles lost their elasticity and
the wall of abdomen aorta has lots of waste products due to
overworking. If this symptom is not treated in time, the rupture
of aorta will appear on someday. The rupture is fatal if not
get surgery at that time.

The big pulpitation of abdomen aorta is a sign of this accident
in future. The doctors of western medicine say that this symptom
is not abnormal so they request their patients to disclose eyes to
this symptoms. It is very sorry to hear that the patients complaint
for internists' comments like this.

In the east asian medicine, from 2000 years ago, the symptom
is regarded as very meaningful heart accident. They named it
as 動悸( pulpitation to the extent of moving or exercising).

From my experience, the patients do not come with only strong
pulse. They usually come with reflux, arrythmia, hypertension,
insomnia, breathlessness and other cardiac disorders. All of these
symptoms are also heart troubles.

2. Chief Complaints
The original purpose of prescription was the treatment of chronic
calcification of liver. During diagnosing I had to checked all of his
body and found the big pulpitation of his abdiminal aorta.
Arrythmia( one per 10 - 15 pulse)
Hypertention(180 systoliceven though taking depressants)
Pain on right subcostal area several times per one hour.
Gastoesophageal reflux disease.

3. Other Symptoms and Signs
Darkish face to be judged as liver problem.
Dark skin and rough on abdomen.
From 5 years ago, underwears are dyed brown with sweat.
xeropthalmia(dried eye)
Severe dampness on genital area
Cholecytitis of 10 years

Pulse : Float, big, fast, a little smoothy and arrythmia
Tongue : Deep coated white, enlarged and curved.
Abdomen : Pains and stiffeness on the upper.
                A little pain on CVA
        
4. Diagnosis
Liver large but weak
Heart small
Digestive organs strong
Lung a little weak

5. Pathology
Humidity on liver from strong digestive organs and weak liver
makes the calcification of liver. To prevent this progressive
calcification and cholecytitis, the heart had to work over and
over, which drives the humidity on the wall of aorta. We call
it atherosclerosis in western medicine. Though the symptom
has been long but still his energy is good. So I judged it will
be treated easily.(Please refer to his pulse. His pulse is not
dull but smoothy.)

6. Prescription
To get rid of humidity
To purify blood
To make the fever on stomach anf heart

7. Results

1st Prescription
To get rid of humidity is main.
To stop taking health food and chemical drugs but depressant.
The depressant shall be reduced gradually and stopped.

1st Prescription
Reduced big pulse on abdominal aorta but the pain remains.
The face came back to normally.
The tongue came back to straight.
Reduced coating.

He told that hw stopped taking the depressant at all. I asked why
stopped immediately. He answered that the blood pressure
going down to lower than the average, so he did.
Arrythmia reduced( one per 30- 60 pulse)
Reflux remains yet.
CVA pain remains but little.

2nd Prescription
Same as the 1st.

2nd Result
Big pulpitaion and pain on abdomen aorta disappered
completely.
White coating on tongue remains a little.
Arrythmis reduced to one per 60-200 pulse.
Tongue to be slim to talk easily.
Blood pressure is lowered to 110-130/80-60 in spite that he
has not taking the depressants. He deeply regreted why he
had taken the depressant so long, which might influnce the
calcifiaction and other diseases.

3rd Prescription
Herbs for the humidity had to be changed to cold Kimi from warm.

3rd Result
He was checked at big hospital. They did not prescribe
anything at all. The internist said to him that he was in low
blood pressure so the depressants needed no more. I think
the internist is wise because it is usual that the internist
prescribes the depressants in spite of low blood pressure

I requested him to get photos for liver calcification so he wanted
to get CT at the hospital. But the doctor refused to take photos
because it might be meaningless to take photos for 3 months
for impossiblity of the change within such a short period.

4th Prescription
Added warm herbs for digestive organs activity.

He began to work now for making money. He is alive!
