미국 인디애나대학교 비지니스학과에서 본인이 제공한 비지니스기법으로 프리젠테이션이 있었고,

현지에서 상당한 호응으로 성공적인 평가를 받은 일이 최근에 있었다.

물론, 많은사람들에게 알릴 필요가 있다하여 도서관에도 올려진 모양이다.

모든 기술적인 기법을 제공하였지만 프리젠데이션으로 만든 발표자가 따로 있어서, 공개여부 동의하에 이 글을 올린다.

Dear, investors. Thank you for this opportunity for letting me introduce concept behind my future business operations. Today, I am going to talk about Pulp business. My attempt is to open my own company using this concept dedicated to small or medium sized business owners who go through hard financial times.

Before we actually get started, let’s think about this first.

Scores of business people committed suicide because of business. Why did they go to this extreme? What culprit let them to do this? This tells us that how burdensome managing business is, when the company experiences hardships. We often think about how to make our business thrive, but, we are not really concerned about difficult situation. If business people don’t know, how to counteract in this situation, then they can never avoid the failure of their businesses. We should not let them give up their business, there is an “Ace of the Hole”. That is, “PULP BUISNESS”.

Maybe, most of you are not really familiar with this term. But this was created when the United States was in a great depression.

In one word, the pulp business is like the process of recycling paper. The concept can be applied to revitalizing business as a last resort short of bankruptcy by solving loan problems, and by fixing company’s poor business system.

Let me introduce someone who actually used this concept. His name is We Cheol, Jeong, and he is the owner of Leaders Construction Company in South Korea. He is also operating Prosecutor’s daily News in our country. According to him, he could revitalize 5 companies using this concept.

Let’s see how this concept works.

First of all, the pulp business man will take action to solve every single bond problem. (Power Point slide)This is one of the companies Mr. Jeong revitalized. In this company’s case, the majority of loans were taken by the bank. The man and the owner will do one-on-one talks with creditors on the order of private loan, trade un-payment, and the bank. This will be processed very quickly, because, there is a possibility that creditors are already involved in some kind of deal. There is a way to persuade creditors. When talking to them, we will get to the main point directly, not indirectly. And we will not give them enough time to think about it deeply. Tell them specific new plan, concisely ask their decision, get the promise, and get out of the place right away. Because, incessant talking will drag on, then it will cause the purpose to be lost.

After that, the pulp business man and the owner will visit the bank to explain everything and ask for the extension of the loan period. The point is to let them remind themselves, if they cannot get the full principal or interest, the branch manager, division manager, section chief will take this responsibility. Most people haven’t realized that we can actually negotiate with banks regarding loan principal, and the interest.

After receiving all the permissions to extend the loan period, then it is the time to do the field survey of the company. In this company’s case, the defect product rate was over 30%. So the pulp business man brought all the machines up to speeded, and atomized all the production lines. Since this step is totally dependent on the man’s ability, we should know how to develop this ability. This is the way! The man will be trained as if he were the owner of the huge company. For instance, imagine that you are the owner of “APPLE”. Then, you must collect every minute and vital information as much as you can. Then you should start managing this company in your mind every day. If you do this continuously, then you can come up with a variety of business situation.

Because of all the combined changes, this company was able to repay all the loans in 6 months, and become revitalized.

This is how the Pulp business concept works.

The final decision is ultimately up to you. But remember, business makes another business.  As long as business exists, there will always be those companies who are going through hardships or difficult situations. If we open this company, we can hit two birds with one stone to revitalize companies and also to make our business successful. I believe that you will make a wise decision right now.

참고로 미국 인디애나 대학교는 한국 유학생이 가장 많이 유학가는 대학으로 알려져 있고, 원문 중에, 본인 이름이 영문으로 jeong woe cheol인데 woe가 we로 오타되어 있다.발표 당시에는 정확하게 발음 되었다고 한다.
