참부모경 - 356. 무죄로 마무리된 서대문형무소 사건

1955년 10월 4일 참아버님께서는 서울 지방법원의 무죄 판결로 석방되셨다. 식구들은 기쁨과 감격으로 참아버님을 맞이하였으며, 3일 후 장충동에서 청파동으로 교회를 이전하고 10일 출옥환영회를 가졌다. 평양에서 직접 지으신 ‘성려의 새노래’를 부르며 수난의 의미를 되새기셨다.
 
1 1955년 이화여자대학 사건 등으로 인해 전 국가가 소동해서 나를 잡아 넣으려고 했습니다. 이승만 정권을 중심삼고 그 놀음을 한 것입니다. 들추고 해봐야 나에게는 죄가 없었습니다. 갖은 흉악한 보따리를 다 씌워 놓았지만 죄로 걸릴 것이 없었습니다. 그때는 이북에서 내려왔으니까 머리를 깎고 그럴 때인데, 내가 인민군인 줄 알고 조사하려고 했고 내가 군대에 가려니까 군대에는 보내지 않았습니다. 그래서 군대를 안 가게 되었습니다. 환경이 그래서 그렇게 되었으니 죄에 걸릴 수 없습니다. 그래서 무죄로 석방됐습니다. 그 사실을 기독교 교인들은 하나도 모릅니다. 그때에 지금같이 선포했어야 됩니다. 그렇지만 그럴 때가 아니었습니다. 내가 갈 길에는 세계적 기준을 중심삼고 져야 할 십자가가 있습니다. 개인적 십자가 길에서 패자가 되지 않고 승자가 되었다고 자랑하면 안 됩니다. 그 개인적 승세 기반 위에 가정적 십자가가 찾아오는 것을 망각해서는 안 됩니다.
 
2 아버님이 감옥에 갔다는 것은 신문에 대문짝만하게 크게 해서 소문을 내놓고 무죄 석방이 됐다는 것은 아주 작게 한 단으로 써 놓았습니다. 지금까지 그것을 아는 사람이 없더라는 것입니다. 그때 감옥에서 나와서 싸웠으면 얼마나 멋졌겠습니까? 싸우지 않음으로써 뿌리까지 뽑아버린 것입니다. 역사를 두고 아버님을 반대한 사람은 뿌리까지 뽑힙니다. 아들딸들은 자기 어머니 아버지가 옳은 목사이고 올바른 충신인 줄 알았는데 역적의 자리에 있었다는 것을 알 것입니다. 어머니 아버지가 하늘의 도리를 다한 천지의 대부모를 반대한 역적의 자리에 있었다는 것을 알게 될 때 그 자식이 어머니 아버지의 무덤을 파 버릴 수 있는 날이 올 것입니다. 지나가는 말이 아닙니다.
 
3 자유당 정권 때 5대 장관이 나를 때려잡으려고 했습니다. 그때 문교부 내무부 외무부 등의 5개 부처에 이승만 박사가 특명을 내려서 통일교회를 없애 버리라고 통고했습니다. 조사해 보니 무엇이 있습니까? 소문을 자기들이 다 만들어 놨습니다. 백백교 교주를 이야기하면서 누더기 보따리를 씌워 놓고는 들취 보니 흠잡을 것이 없었습니다. 재판해서 아무것도 없으니까 90여일 만에 나왔습니다. 그때 세상이 전부 죄인인 줄 알았습니다. 나는 세계에까지 그 욕을 먹고 나왔습니다. 그러면서도 왜 40년 동안 가만있었느냐? 맞고 빼앗아 나오는 것입니다. 내가 제일 나쁜 사람인 줄 알고 때려잡으려고 했습니다. ‘너희는 망하는 거야! 나를 한번 쳐 봐라! 치는 날에는 코너에 가서 옥살박살 날 것이다.’라고 하며 나왔습니다. 나는 아무것도 잘못한 것이 없습니다.

4 1954년에 통일교회라는 간판을 붙이고 출발하게 되었습니다. 그때도 역시 남한에서 국가적인 반대를 했습니다. 전체가 반대했습니다. 감옥에 들어가는 일이 벌어진 것입니다. 3년간은 언제나 탕감을 해야 됩니다. 원리가 그렇게 되어 있습니다. 탕감복귀가 그렇게 되어 있습니다. 틀림없이 공식은 공식대로 적용되어 나가는 것입니다. 그때 대한민국이 아버님을 때려잡고 밟아 치우려고 했고, 기독교와 정부가 하나되어 별의별 짓을 다 해서 없애려고 했습니다. 그러나 공판정에서 무죄 판결을 받아 석방됨으로써 통일교회 역사는 연장되어 나온 것입니다.
 
5 무죄 석방이 무엇입니까? 무죄 석방이면 대한민국이 나에게 보상을 해야 됩니다. 대한민국은 유죄라고 선포하고 아버님은 무죄라고 하는 것입니다. 하나님의 법으로 보게 되면 ‘죄없는 사람을 고생시키고 그랬으면 대한민국 너는 유죄야. 그리고 문 선생은 무죄인 것을 몰라?’ 이렇게 되는 것입니다. 대한민국에서 반대하는 골수분자는 기독교인입니다. 기독교인이 하나님을 믿는 패입니까? 하나님을 반대하는 패입니까?‘집안 식구가 원수다.’라는 성경 말씀이 이루어져야 됩니다. 기독교가 죄를 짓고 말았다는 것입니다. 죄지은 사람을 옹호하는 사람은 연루자가 되어 그 범죄의 공범자가 됩니다. 그렇기 때문에 대한민국이 망하고 기독교가 망하면 망했지 아버님은 망하지 않습니다.

真の父母経 - 356. 無罪で終結した「七・四事件」

一九五五年十月四日、真のお父様は、ソウル地方裁判所で無罪判決を受け、釈放された。食口たち は、喜びと感激で真のお父様を迎え、三日後、奨忠洞（チャンチュンドン）から青坡洞（チョンパド ン）へ教会を移転し、十日に出獄歓迎会を行った。真のお父様は、平壌で自ら作詞された「聖励の新 歌」を歌われ、新たな決意をされた。

１ 一九五五年、梨花女子大事件などによって、国家全体が騒ぎ立て、私を捕まえて監獄に入れよう としました。李承晩政権を中心として、そのようなことをしたのです。罪を暴こうとしたところで、 私には罪がありませんでした。あらゆるひどいぬれぎぬを着せようとしましたが、罪として引っ掛かるものはなかったのです。 その時は、北朝鮮から下ってきたので、頭を刈っていて、私が軍隊に入隊しようとすると、人民軍 ではないかと疑われ、調査の結果、軍隊に入れなかったのです。ですから、軍隊に行きませんでした。 環境のためにそのようになったので、罪には引っ掛かりません。ですから、無罪で釈放されたのです。 その事実を、キリスト教徒たちは全く知りません。その時、今のように宣布していればよかったの ですが、そのような時ではありませんでした。私が行く道には、世界的基準を中心として背負うべき 十字架があります。

個人的十字架の道で敗者にならず、勝者になったといって、誇ってはいけません。その個人的勝利 基盤の上に、家庭的十字架が訪れてくることを忘れてはいけません。

２ お父様が監獄に入ったことは、新聞に特筆大書してうわさを立てておきながら、無罪で釈放され たことは、とても小さな一段の記事を書きました。（それで）今までそのことを知っている人がいなか ったのです。その時、監獄から出てきて闘っていれば、どれほど格好が良かったでしょうか。（しか し、）闘わないことによって、根まで引き抜いてしまったのです。

歴史上でお父様に反対した人は、根まで引き抜かれます。（彼らの）子女たちは、自分の父母が正し い牧師であり、正しい忠臣だと思っていたのに、実は逆賊の立場にいたことを知るようになるでしょ う。（自分の）父母が、天の道理を尽くした天地の大父母（真の父母）に反対した逆賊の立場にいたこ とが分かった時、その子女が、父母の墓を掘り起こす日が来るでしょう。うやむやにする話ではあり ません。

３ 自由党政権の時代に、五大長官（大臣）が私をたたき潰そうとしました。当時、文教部、内務部、 外務部など五つの政府機関に、李承晩博士が特命を下し、「統一教会をなくしてしまえ」と通告したの です。調査したところで、何があるでしょうか。自分たちがうわさをすべてでっち上げたのです。白 白（ペクペク）教の教主の話をしながら、ぬれぎぬを着せておいて探ったのですが、何の罪状も見つ かりませんでした。裁判をしても何もないので、約九十日後に出てきたのです。

当時、世の中はみな、（私のことを）罪人だと思っていました。私は世界でも、そのことで罵られな がら歩んできました。それでも、なぜ四十年間、黙っていたのでしょうか。打たれて奪ってくるので す。最も悪い人だと思って私をたたき潰そうとしてきても、「あなたたちのほうが滅びる。私を一度打 ってみなさい。打てば自分たちが窮地に追い込まれ、木っ端みじんになるだろう」と考えながら歩ん できました。私は何も間違っていません。

４ 一九五四年に、統一教会という看板を掛けて出発するようになりました。その時もやはり、韓国 において国家的な反対が起こりました。全体が反対しました。監獄に入る事件が起きたのです。 三年間は、常に蕩減をしなければなりません。原理がそのようになっています。蕩減復帰がそのよ うになっています。間違いなく、公式は公式どおりに適用されていくのです。当時、大韓民国がお父 様をたたいて踏み潰そうとし、キリスト教と政府が一つになって、ありとあらゆることをして葬り去 ろうとしました。しかし、公判廷で無罪の判決を受けて釈放されることによって、統一教会は存続で きたのです。

５ 無罪で釈放とは何でしょうか。無罪で釈放されたならば、大韓民国が私に補償しなければなりま せん。大韓民国は有罪だと宣布し、お父様は無罪だと言うのです。神様の法から見ると、「罪のない人 に苦労をさせたとすれば、大韓民国、お前は有罪である。そして、文先生は無罪だということが分か らないのか」と、このようになるのです。

大韓民国で反対する核心要員はキリスト教徒です。キリスト教徒は、神様を信じる群れでしょうか、 神様に反対する群れでしょうか。「家の者が、その人の敵となるであろう」（マタイ一○・三六）とい う聖書の聖句が成就しなければなりません。キリスト教が罪を犯してしまったというのです。罪を犯 した人をかばう人は、関係者となり、その犯罪の共犯者になります。ですから、大韓民国が滅び、キ リスト教が滅びることはあっても、お父様は滅びないのです。

Chambumo Gyeong - 356. All charges dropped

On October 4, 1955, True Father was found innocent and released by the Seoul District Court. The members were overwhelmed with joy to welcome him back. Three days later, they moved the church from Jangchung-dong to Cheongpa-dong, and on October 10 the church celebrated Father's release from prison. Everyone sang "New Song of Inspiration," which True Father himself wrote in Pyongyang, and reflected deeply on the meaning of his ordeal.
 
1 The whole nation was in an uproar in 1955 due to such incidents as the expulsion of students from Ewha Womans University. Under the influence of Syngman Rhees government, they arrested me and tried to expose me for crimes, but I had committed none. They charged me with all kinds of heinous things, but there was no crime with which to implicate me. When I came down from North Korea, I had short hair. I went to enroll in the armed forces, but they investigated me, thinking I had been in the North Korean People s Army. As a result, they did not allow me into the armed forces. That is the reason I was not accepted. Since those were my circumstances, my accusers were not able to implicate me as a criminal. Therefore, I was released with the verdict of innocent.

Christians did not know that fact at all. At that time, we could have proclaimed that fact as we do now; however, back then it was not the time to do that. On my path, there was a cross I had to bear on a worldwide scale. I could not be proud just because I had become the victor in the individual battle on the path of the cross. I could not forget that on the victorious foundation of the individual level, the cross of the family level was next. (184-273, 1989/01/01)
 
2 Newspapers played up the story that I was imprisoned with banner headlines. However, when they wrote about my release after the not guilty verdict, they printed only one sentence in small letters. Hence, no one knew about my acquittal.

When I came out from prison, some people told me that we should fight about this matter. But I did not fight. By not fighting, we made a condition to pull out the root. Anyone who opposed me by fomenting this historical injustice will be uprooted in the end. Their children may believe that their parents were good pastors who were loyal to the nation, but eventually they will understand that their parents were betrayers. When they realize that their mother and father stood in the position of betrayers who opposed the great Parents of Heaven and Earth as they strove to fulfill their duty in front of heaven, they will want to dig up their parents' graves. 3 During the administration of the Liberal Party, five cabinet ministers tried to knock me down. President Syngman Rhee issued a special directive to five departments to eliminate the Unification Church. This included the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After a perfunctory investigation, they used the rumors to fabricate stories about me and the Unification Church. For instance, they accused me of the crimes committed by the founder of the Pure White Sect. Thus, they tried to tarnish me with all kinds of allegations.

Yet when I was brought to court and investigated, they could not find any fault. Although they brought me to trial, they could find no evidence that would prove their case, and after 90 days I was acquitted and released.

In those days, Korean society truly believed I was a criminal. Later this became the basis for me to be accused throughout the world. Still, I have been silent these 40 years. Why? I knew the principle that after being struck, I can claim what I am entitled to. They believed Reverend Moon was the worst person and tried to knock me down. Yet I thought, "You are bound to perish! Go ahead and strike me! One day you who strike me will be driven into a corner and shattered into pieces." I could say that because I had done nothing wrong. (182-306, 1988/10/26)
 
4 We put up the sign of the Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity in 1954. In those days I was opposed by the entire nation of South Korea. An incident occurred which resulted in my imprisonment. Within any three-year period there is always indemnity to pay. There is no way to avoid the restoration through indemnity. It is a formula, and it works without fail.

In those days, the government of the Republic of Korea tried to knock me down; they took all kind of measures to eliminate me. Christianity and the government joined forces for this purpose. However, when my case came to trial, I was found not guilty and released. Thus, the Unification Church could continue, and it remains to this day. (087-059, 1976/05/01)
 
5 What does it mean that the court released me with the verdict that I was innocent? If I was acquitted and discharged, shouldn't the Korean government offer me compensation? The Republic of Korea charged me, claiming that I was guilty when I had not been proven guilty. I declared I was innocent. When God examines the Republic of Korea in His court, God's verdict will be, "Republic of Korea, you are guilty. It is because you caused suffering to a man who committed no crime, and you charged him even though you already knew that he was innocent."

The key officials in the Korean government who opposed me were Christians. Are Christians a group of people who support God, or a group of people who oppose God? We read from the Bible, "One's foes will be members of one's own household." (Matt. 10:36) These words came true. Indeed, Christianity committed a sin.

The person who supports a criminal is like a partner in his crime; hence, he may be convicted as an accomplice. Therefore, the Korean government and the Christian churches may perish, but not Father. (187-219, 1989/02/11)
