여름 음악 단기 연수 프로그램
2008년 7월 12일부터 8월 31일까지 독일 슐레스비히-홀스타인 지역에서 열리는 여름 음악 축제의 프로그램 중 단기 음악 연수 프로그램이 있어서 소개해 드립니다.
참가 가능한 전공자는 성악, 바이올린, 비올라, 첼로 그리고 피아노 부분입니다.
참가 신청 마감은 2008년 5월 15일 그리고 참가 신청서와 신청비 25 유로 그리고 오디션 CD를 제출하여 CD 심사를 통과한 자에 한해서 단기 연수에 참여할 수 있습니다. CD 오디션을 통과하지 못할 경우, 청강생으로 참가가 가능합니다.
그럼 각 부분별로 일정 소개, 교수 소개와 주최측 부탁사항에 대해서 안내해 드립니다.
[성악]
1. 7월 13일부터 20일까지 / 쿠르트 몰 (베이스) / 스타일이 다른 2-3곡을 녹음한 CD 제출 후, 심사 통과된 자에 한해서 초청됨.
Kurt Moll was born near Cologne and started to learn violoncello and guitar before he decided to become a singer. He studied at the Music College in Cologne with Emmy Müller and became a member of the Opera Cologne at the early age of twenty. Thereafter he was invited to sing at the opera houses in Aachen, Mainz, Wuppertal and Hamburg. Moll’s career took on international dimensions after his debut at the Salzburg Festival 1970. Since then he sang at all major opera houses around the globe such as the Vienna State Opera, Metropolitan Opera New York or Scala di Milano with conductors like Herbert von Karajan, Sir Georg Solti, Leonard Bernstein and Carlos Kleiber. His interpretation of the mojaor roles by Mozart, Strauss and Wagner like Sarastro, Osmin, Baron Ochs or Gurnemanz are still setting the standard for the future generation. In addition Kurt Moll has been a highly acclaimed concert and Lieder singer as well. He has been professor at the Music College in Cologne. In 2006 he ended his singing career, but his innumerable recordings are exemplary and documents of Kurt Moll’s extraordinary musicianship.
2. 8월 11일부터 16일까지 / 볼프람 리거 (가곡부분) / 시대를 달리하는 2-3개의 가곡 혹은 아리아를 녹음한 CD 제출 후, 심사 통과된 자에 한해서 초청됨. 그리고 수업시간에 부를 곡 10곡의 명단을 제출할 것. 그 순서는 렛슨 받고 싶은 우선 순위에 따라서 정할 것.
Wolfram Rieger comes from Waldsassen (Upper Palatinate) and studied with Erik Werba and Helmut Deutsch at the Hochschule für Musik in Munich. Masterclasses with Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Hans Hotter and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau gave his career an important impetus. Even during his studies he began teaching at Munich’s Hochschule für Musik until in 1991 he started his own Lieder class for singers and pianists. In 1998 he became professorof a Lieder class at the Berlin’s Hochschule für Musik »Hanns Eisler«. He appears a both as recital accompanist and chamber musician with such renowned artists as Brigitte Fassbaender, Juliane Banse, Barbara Bonney, Thomas Hampson, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Thomas Quasthoff and the Cherubini Quartett, Petersen Quartetts and Vogler Quartett. Wolfram Rieger is a regular guest at the international music centres and major festivals and is giving masterclasses for song interpreation in Europe and Japan. A prolific recording artist, Wolfram Rieger is well-presented on numerous CDs, many of which received various prizes. Among others he is holding the honorary medal of the Associació Franz-Schubert de Barcelona.

Anna Tomowa-Sintow was born in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria, and studied with Georgi Slatew-Tscherkin at the Conservatory in Sofia, where she made her debut at the National Opera as Tatjana in Tchaikovsky’s Eugen Onegin. In 1965 she became a member of the Leipzig Opera, and in 1972 she joined the ensemble of the Berlin Staate Opera "Unter den Linden". The following year her breakthrough performance with Verdi’s Requiem in Paris smoothed her way for an international career. Since then Anna Tomowa-Sintow worked with the most influential conductors such as Karl Böhm, Carlos Kleiber, Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Muti and appeared on all major stages like the Bavarian Staate Opera, Scala di Milano, Metropolitan Opera New York, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Vienna Staate Opera and the international Festivals. Most important for her career has been the 17-year artistic relationship with Herbert von Karajan. Her interpretation of the big soprano roles by Mozart, Verdi, Wagner and Strauss are still setting the standard for future generations. She has been awarded with a Grammy for her recordings of Ariadne auf Naxos with James Levine and Donna Anna with Herbert von Karajan. Apart from being an opera singer Anna Tomowa-Sintow is also a very thought-after concert and Lieder singer. Furthermore she is dedicating herself to up-and-coming young singers and giving masterclasses in Europa und Japan.
[바이올린]
1. 7월 24일부터 29일까지 / 이자벨레 반 코일렌 (바이올린/비올라) / 고전적 그리고 현대적 작품을 녹음한 CD 제출 후, 심사 통과된 자에 한해서 초청됨.
The Dutch violinist and violist Isabelle van Keulen studied first at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam and later at the Mozarteum Salzburg with Sandor Végh. Chamber music is central to her music making: in 1997 she founded her own chamber music festival in Delft, Holland, where she collaborates with distinguished friends and colleagues such as Leif Ove Andsnes, Håkan Hardenberger, Gidon Kremer, Heinrich Schiff and Thomas Adès. She has appeared with the world’s leading orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic, Bayerischer Rundfunk, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra London, NDR Sinfonieorchester, NHK Symphony Orchestra Tokyo under the baton of Valery Gergiev, Paavo and Neeme Järvi, Sir Neville Marriner or Sir Roger Norrington. Isabelle van Keulen is firmly committed to contemporary music. Most recently she premièred Erkki-Sven Tüür’s double concerto for Violin and Clarinet »Noesis« together with Michael Collins. She performs recitals throughout Europe together with her long-term recital partner Ronald Brautigam. Isabelle van Keulen has equally been recording violin and viola repertoire for several labels.

Saschko Gawriloff was born in Leipzig and received his first violin lessons from his father. He studied in Leipzig with Walther Davisson and later in Berlin with Martin Kovacz, a pupil of David Oistrach and Jenö Hubay. Several international prizes like the Paganini Competition were the start to an international career. A the age of seventeen he made his debut with the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, and only one year later Gawriloff became concert master of the Berlin Philharmonic, and later of the Dresden Philharmonic and Radio-Sinfonieorchester Berlin. As a soloist Gawriloff performed around the globe with conductors such as Sir Georg Solti, Pierre Boulez, Christoph von Dohnányi or Esa-Pekka Salonen. He premiered many contemporary works like the violin concerto by György Ligeti, which is dedicated to him. Apart from being a reknown soloist and chamber musician Gawriloff is a much thought-after teacher at the music college in Detmold and since 1982 at the music college in Cologne.

Lars Anders Tomter was born in Hamar, Norway. He began to play the violin at the age of eight and also took up the viola. Both instruments he studied with Leif Jørgensen at the Oslo Music Conservatory and the Norwegian State Academy and at the age of seventeen he made his debut on both instruments. Lars Anders Tomter continued his studies with Max Rostal and Sandor Végh. His international solo career started when winning the competitions in Budapest 1984 and Lille 1986. Since then he performs at the international music centres and the major Festivals around the world. Besides his solo career Tomter is a versatile chamber musician and has premiered several concertos, which are dedicated to him. Lars Anders Tomter is professor at the State Academy in Oslo. In addition, he is artistic director of the Risør Chamber Music Festival together with Leif Ove Andsnes.

Natalia Gutman was born in Kazan, grew up in Moscow and played her first public concert at the age of nine. Two people were most influential for her artistic development: her grandfather Anisim Berlin, violinist and pupil of the legendary Leopold Auer, and Galina Kozolupova, whith whom she studied nearly 15 years. Beside these two, her most eminent supporters were Mstislaw Rostropowitsch, Svjatoslav Richter and her late husband, violinist Oleg Kagan. Natalia Gutman won several international competitions such as the Tschaikowsky-Competition in 1962, but her first prize at the ARD-Competition in Munich 1967 was the start of her international career. As a soloist and chamber musician she performs in all music centres around the world. From 1991 to 2004 she has been professor at the music college in Stuttgart and she is still teaching at the Moscow Conservatory as well as regularly giving masterclasses.
2. 8월 13일부터 20일까지 / 랄프 키르쉬바움 (첼로) / 스타일이 다른 2곡 이상을 녹음한 CD 제출 후, 심사 통과된 자에 한해서 초청됨.
Ralph Kirshbaum was born in Texas and ranks as one of the leading cellists and teachers of his generation. His first teachers were Roberta Guastafeste and Lev Aronson in Dallas, where he played his debut with the Dallas Symphony at the age of fifteen. Afterwards he studied with Aldo Parisot in Yale. Since his prize winning performances at the first Cassadó Competition in Florence and at the Tschaikowsky Competition in Moscow, Ralph Kirshbaum is concerting throughout the world as a soloist and partner of artists such as Lang Lang, Vadim Repin or Leif Ove Andsnes. He enjoys the respect and affection not only of audiences world-wide but also of his many eminent colleagues. In 1988, he founded the triennial Manchester International Cello Festival, where the world’s great cellists gather together in a celebration of the cello in concerts and masterclasses. Ralph Kirshbaum teaches at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and he has shortly been appointed the„Gregor Piatigorsky Endowed Chair in Violoncello" at the USC Thornton School of Music, starting this autumn.

Elisabeth Leonskaja ranks as one of the greatest pianists of our time. Born in Tiflis, Georgia, she played already in public concerts at the age of eleven. In 1964 she went to Moscow, where she studied with Jacob Milstein. During her studies she won several international competitions in Bukarest, Paris and Brussels. Svjatoslav Richter, with whom she played a lot of piano duo recitals, supported her musical development before she emigrated to Vienna in 1978. The next year she made her début at the Salzburger Festspiele, which started an incredible international career. Since then she is a guest at all major music capitals and at International Festivals around the globe. Besides being a soloist she is a brilliant chamber musician and often invited to join ensembles like the Alban Berg Quartett, the Borodin and Guarneri Quartet as well as to accompany the cellist Heinrich Schiff.
2. 8월 15일부터 19일까지 / 올렉 마이젠베르크 (피아노) / "슈베르트부터 현재까지"라는 모토하에 진행됨. 따라서 CD 녹음곡은 모토에 맞게 선택하되, 2곡 이상을 녹음한 CD 제출 후, 심사 통과자된 자에 한해서 초청됨.
Oleg Maisenberg was born in Odessa. In 1967, he was awarded the second prize at the International Schubert-Competition in Vienna and won the »Music of the 20th Century« Competition as well in Vienna, where he lives since 1981. He regularly performs with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra or the Berlin Philharmonic under the baton of well-known conductors such as Herbert Blomstedt, Christoph von Dohnányi, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Sir Charles Mackerras, Zubin Mehta or Esa-Pekka Salonen. Much of his time is dedicated to chamber music and song accompaniment, when teaming up with artists like Robert Holl, Hermann Prey, Heinz Holliger, Sabine Meyer, András Schiff and Gidon Kremer. Oleg Maisenberg is also a regular at the international festivals. In 1995, he has been awarded the honorary membership of the Vienna Concert House Society and in 2005 the Austrian Honorary Cross of Arts and Science First Class. From 1985 to1998 he was professor at the Music College in Stuttgart, since 1998 he has the same position at the University of Music and Dramatic Art in Vienna.
