December, 3rd , Wednesday, sunny
I received a flier from a market a few days ago.
It was saying that they would sell some groceries at low prices.
As you know, these days living cost is very high.
So it was a very good chance to buy things cheaply.
First of all, I marked some items I needed in the flier and then made a list of items I would buy.
However, there was a problem in buying them.
The sale items I would buy were supposed to sell on different days.
So I needed to check out the dates of the sale items before I went shopping.
Today's sale items were chickens, potatoes, fish and so on.
I went there at the time to open the market.
I thought it was too early to go shopping when I got there.
However, there were already a lot of people.
Some people even finished their shopping.
I had to hurry to buy all the items I needed.
I had to give up buying some items because of long lines.
How diligent they are !
I had to wait for long lines at the counter to pay for the items I bought .
Even though I felt tired after shopping, I was happy as much as my bag containing the groceries was heavy.
첫댓글 Hi Jiyoung, I have lots of experiences like you. I usually go to Hanaro for grocery shopping and wait in a line with my husband. Sometimes, people who cut the line make us upset, but once we succeed in the shopping, we forget it.
I also don't like those who cut in a line. but I don't have any brave to tell them their worng behaviors.
There are mountains of frugal and economical housewives in our class. Let's cope with the worst traumatic crisis!
I always learn many new and useful expressions from you. Today's expression is "cope with". Thank you Cindy!
