마가복음1:1-11요한이 메시아의 길을 예비하다

축구 경기는 단순히 전후반 90분을 뛰는 것이 아닙니다. 경기 전에 많은 연습과 준비 운동과 몸풀기가 있어요. 마찬가지로 하나님의 구원도 저절로 이루어지는 것이 아닙니다. 그분의 오랜 관심과 사랑이 약속과 이행으로 진행된 결과입니다. 그렇다면, 신자는 이 복음에 어찌 반응해야 할까? A soccer match does not just run for the first and second 90 minutes. There are a lot of practice, warm-up, and warm-up sessions before the match. Likewise, God's salvation does not come by itself. His long interest and love are the result of promises and fulfillments. So, how should believers react to this gospel?

인간은 언제나 내가 누구인가를 가문, 지위, 소유 같은 것을 통해 확인 혹은 과시함으로써 행복을 추구하려하는 경향이 있습니다. 그러나 인간의 참된 행복은 예수가 누구신가를 바로 알게 될 때 행복해집니다. 이것을 터득한 사도 바울은 자신의 삶의 지고한 목적이 "그리스도를 얻고 그 안에서 발견 되려 함(빌3:8)“ 이라고 고백하지 않았습니까? Humans always tend to seek happiness by confirm‎ing or showing off who they are through family, status, possession, etc. However, human true happiness becomes happy when we know who Jesus is right away. Didn't Paul, the apostle who learned this, confess that his ultimate purpose of life was to "get Christ and be found in it (Bill 3:8)"?

지난 몇 년 동안의 외도로 일탈의 환희는 촌음처럼 지나가 버렸는데 만신창이가 되어버린 내 영혼을 향해 주께서 다시 광야로 부르셨습니다. 내 아르마니, 뤼비통, 페라가모를 벗고 세례요한처럼 광야의 유목민으로 살라고 하십니다. 사치와 방탕과 타락의 애굽을 떠나 광야스타일로 살라고 하십니다. The jubilation of infidelity over the past few years has passed like a rustic tone, but the Lord has called me back into the wilderness to my soul, who has become a wreck. He tells me to take off my Armani, Rubitong, and Ferragamo and live as a nomad in the wilderness like John the Baptist. He tells me to leave Egypt of luxury, profligacy, and corruption and live in a wilderness style.

행복이란 과욕으로 이탈하지 않고 주께서 부여한 그 은사만큼 끝까지 사는 것이라고 벽두 새벽에 눈물을 흘리시면서 당부하십니다. 복음은 예수 그리스도께서 하나님의 아들이시라는 소식입니다. 수백 년 동안 선지자의 음성이 들리지 않았고, 선민 이스라엘은 이방인들에게 지배를 받아왔습니다. He asks with tears at dawn that happiness does not escape by excessive greed and lives to the end as much as the Lord's gift. The gospel is the news that Jesus Christ is the son of God. The voice of the prophet has not been heard for hundreds of years, and the chosen Israel has been ruled by the Gentiles.

그러나 아브라함과 다윗에게 주신 하나님의 약속만은 잊히지 않았습니다. 그리고 그 언약을 지키려고 메시아를 보내셨습니다.
그런데 그게 한사람이 아니라 하나님의 아들일 줄은 꿈에도 몰랐습니다. 말라기에 예언한 엘리야는 필시 세례요한일 것입니다.
그가 메시아의 길을 미리 예비하였습니다. But God's promise to Abraham and David has not been forgotten. And he sent a messiah to keep the covenant. But I had no idea that it was not just one person, but the son of God. Elijah, who predicted in Malaghi, would surely be John the Baptist. He prepared the way for the messiah in advance.

그것은 다름 아닌 쇄도하는 한 새로운 나라를 수용하고 그 나라 백성이 되게 하는 일입니다. 요한은 사람들로 하여금 죄를 자복하고 세례를 받게 하였습니다. 몸으로는 바벨론 포로에서 귀환했지만 영적으로는 여전히 포로 상태에 있던 이스라엘에게 세례는 새
출애굽의 상징이요 여호와께 돌아오는 의식이었습니다. It is nothing other than accepting a new country and becoming its people as long as it is inundated. John made people confess and baptize themselves. For Israel, who returned from captivity in Babylon physically but was still spiritually captive, the baptism was a symbol of new Egypt and a ritual of returning to the Lord.

우리가 아는 대로 세례는 내 죄를 물에 장사지내고 거듭나기 위해서 하는 침례의식이 아닙니까? 세례요한은 아합 시대처럼 부정과 권력과 결탁한 타락한 종교지도자들과 달리, 화려한 왕궁이 아니라 광야로 오실 메시아를 전했습니다. 그의 관심은 자신의 평판이나 안전이 아니라 메시아 예수님의 능력과 역할을 전하는 소명이었습니다. Isn't baptism, as we know, a baptismal ritual to water down my sins and to be reborn? Unlike fallen religious leaders who colluded with injustice and power like the Ahab era, John the Baptist delivered a messiah who would come to the wilderness, not a fancy palace. His interest was not in his reputation or safety, but in his calling to convey the power and role of Jesus the Messiah.

에수님은 요단강의 세례요한에게 찾아가 세례를 받으십니다. 죄가 없으신데 인류를 대신하여, 죄인과 함께 죽음으로 죄인을 살리고 그들을 하나님의 백성으로 새롭게 창조하시는 소명에 충성하시기로 하신 것입니다. 그 결말이 고난 받는 종으로 죽음까지 수용하는 것이고, 칼의 나라를 이기고 사랑의 나라를 세우는 대안이었기에 스스로 아들의 길을 수용하신 것입니다.
오, 내주 예수! Jesus visits John the Baptist of the Jordan River and is baptized. He has decided to be faithful to the calling of saving sinners by death and creating them as God's people on behalf of mankind, even though he is innocent. The end was to accept death as a suffering servant, and to accept his son's path because it was an alternative to winning over the kingdom of sword and building the kingdom of love.

친히 광야에 오셔서 시험을 이기시고 구원을 완성하셨던 주님, 복음은 예수가 하나님의 아들 메시아로서 새 시대 새 나라를 가져오신 것이나이다. 불구하고 더 좋은 것을 받은 자로 진동치 못할 나라를 받은 자로 살지 못하고 상황 속에 갈등하며 죄 가운데 두렵고 고독하였던 내 속마음을 고백합니다. 그로 인해 주의 길을 평탄케 하지 못하였음을 용서하옵소서! 성령님께서 예수님을 광야로 몰아내신 일을 기억하고 닥쳐올 광야의 시험을 예비하겠습니다. 주님, 제가 주의 길을 예비하는 자로 두렵게 살지만 언제나 당신의 신 들메 풀기도 감당치 못할 자인 것을 잊지 않도록 도우시고 특별히 사랑하는 가족과 교회가 성령으로 세례 받을 수 있도록 도우며 섬기게 하옵소서! The gospel, the Lord, who personally came to the wilderness to win the examination and complete salvation, is that Jesus brought a new country in a new era as a messiah, the son of God. Nevertheless, I confess my inner feelings of being the one who received the better, who could not live as the one who could not vibrate, and who was afraid and lonely among the sins. Forgive me for not flattening your path because of that! I will remember that the Holy Spirit drove Jesus into the wilderness and prepare for the test of the wilderness that will come. Lord, help me not to forget that I am the one who prepares the way of the Lord, but cannot always bear to unravel your god, and help and serve my beloved family and church especially so that they may be baptized by the Holy Spirit!
