본문: 출애굽기 17~18장

Scripture Reading: Exodus chapter 17~18

세상 모든 사람은 하나님의 동산에서 쫓겨난 아담의 후손으로 마음 속에, “하나님과 같이 되려는(창3:5)” 사탄과 원죄가 있으므로, “이스라엘 자손의 온 회중이 여호와의 명령대로 신 광야에서 떠나 르비딤에 장막을 쳤으나 마실 물이 없는지라. 백성이 모세와 다투되 우리에게 물을 주어 마시게 하라 모세가 그들에게 너희가 어찌하여 나와 다투느냐 어찌하여 여호와를 시험하느냐. 거기서 백성이 목이 말라 물을 찾으며 모세에게 원망하되 당신이 어찌하여 애굽에서 인도해 내어 우리와 자녀와 가축이 목말라 죽게 하느냐(17:1-3)” 하였듯, 진리와 사랑과 생명으로 인도하는 임마누엘 하나님 은혜를 받으면서도 불평하고 원망하지만, “모세가 여호와께 부르짖되 내가 이 백성에게 어떻게 하리이까 조금 있으면 내게 돌을 던지겠나이다. 여호와께서 모세에게 백성 앞을 지나서 이스라엘 장로들을 데리고 나일 강을 치던 지팡이를 손에 잡고 가라. 내가 호렙 산 반석 위에 서리니 그 반석을 치면 물이 나오리니 백성이 마시리라 모세가 이스라엘 장로들의 목전에서 그대로 행하니라. 이름을 맛사 므리바라 불렀으니 이스라엘 자손이 다투었고 여호와께서 우리 중에 계신가 안 계신가 시험하였기 때문이었듯(17:4-7)” 즉시 징계하거나 심판하지 않고, 욕구를 충족시켜 주며 깨닫고 회개하기를 기다립니다.

Whosoever, the human being had a seed of sins in his hearts, as “Will be like God (Genesis3:5)” along the first man of the Adam. That’s why, almost of the peoples surely be fallen to sin of grumbled and complaint even he had been graced and blessed of the way to the real truths and lives by the Immanuel God of the Holy Spirit, as “The whole Israelite community set out from the Desert of Sin, traveling from place to place as the Lord commanded. They camped at Rephidim, but there was no water for the people to drink. So, they quarreled with Moses and said, ‘Give us water to drink. Moses replied, ‘Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you put the Lord to the test? But the people were thirsty for water there, and they grumbled against Moses. They said, ‘Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to make us and our children and livestock die of thirst? (17:1-3)” However, God does not punish or condemn as that sinners once, but granted his wishes or desires to repentance by his loves and mercies, as “Then Moses cried out to the Lord. ‘What am I to do with these people? They are almost ready to stone me. The Lord answered Moses, ‘Walk on ahead of the people. Take with you some of the elders of Israel and take in your hand the staff with which you struck the Nile, and go. I will stand there before you by the rock at Horeb. Strike the rock, and water will come out of it for the people to drink. So, Moses did this in the sight of the elders of Israel. And he called the place Massah and Meribah because the Israelites quarreled and because they tested the Lord saying, ‘Is the Lord among us or not? (17:4-7)”

그러나 “그 때에 아말렉이 와서 이스라엘과 르비딤에서 싸우니라. 모세가 여호수아에게 우리를 위하여 사람들을 택하여 나가서 아말렉과 싸우라 내일 내가 하나님의 지팡이를 손에 잡고 산 꼭대기에 서리라. 여호수아가 모세의 말대로 아말렉과 싸우고 모세와 아론과 훌은 산 꼭대기에 올라가서, 모세가 손을 들면 이스라엘이 이기고 손을 내리면 아말렉이 이기더니, 모세의 팔이 피곤하매 돌을 가져다가 모세의 아래에 놓아 앉히고 아론과 훌이 양쪽에서 모세의 손을 붙들어 올렸더니 손이 해가 지도록 내려오지 아니한지라. 여호수아가 칼날로 아말렉과 백성을 쳐서 무찌르니라. 여호와께서 모세에게 이것을 책에 기록하여 기념하게 하고 여호수아의 귀에 외워 들리라 내가 아말렉을 없이하여 천하에서 기억도 못 하게 하리라. 모세가 제단을 쌓고 여호와 닛시라 하고, 여호와께서 맹세하시기를 여호와가 아말렉과 더불어 대대로 싸우리라 하였듯(17:8-16)” 하나님의 도움을 바라고 간구하며 맡기고 순종하면 이루어 준다 가르치고, “모세의 장인이며 미디안 제사장인 이드로가 하나님이 모세에게와 이스라엘에게 하신 일 여호와께서 이스라엘을 애굽에서 인도하여 내신 일을 들으니라. 모세의 장인 이드로가 모세가 돌려보냈던 아내 십보라와, 두 아들을 데리고 왔으니 하나의 이름은 게르솜이라 내가 이방에서 나그네가 되었다 함이요. 하나의 이름은 엘리에셀이라 내 아버지의 하나님이 나를 도우사 바로의 칼에서 구원하셨다 함이었듯(18:1-4)” 고난으로 연단하며 하나님 은혜와 사랑을 깨닫고 감사하며 찬양하게 하십니다.

That’s why, God the Lord instruction the way of blessing to be everything goes well through the humbly obedience faith, as “The Amalekites came and attacked the Israelites at Rephidim. Moses said to Joshua, ‘Choose some of our men and go out to fight the Amalekites. Tomorrow I will stand on top of the hill with the staff of God in my hands. So, Joshua fought the Amalekites. As Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill. As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up-one on one side, one on the other-so that his hands remained steady till sunset. So, Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword. Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Write this on a scroll as something to be remembered and make sure that Joshua hears it, because I will completely blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven. Moses built an altar and called it ‘The Lord is my Banner. He said, ‘For hands were lifted up to the throne of the Lord. The Lord will be at war against the Amalekites from generation to generation. (17:8-16)” And leads him to be thankfully praises to God by the correctness and disciplined of the hardship and big distressed lives, as “Now Jethro, the priest of Midian and father-in-law of Moses, heard of everything God had done for Moses and for his people Israel, and how the Lord had brought Israel out of Egypt. After Moses had sent away his wife Zipporah, his father-in-law Jethro received her, and her two sons. One son was named Gershom, for Moses said, ‘I have become an alien in a foreign land; and the other was named Eliezer, for he said, ‘My father’s God was my helper; he saved me from the sword of Pharaoh. (18:1-4)”

또한 “모세의 장인 이드로가 모세의 아내와 아들들과 더불어 광야에 들어와 모세에게 이르니 모세가 하나님의 산에 진 친 곳이라. 그가 모세에게 네 장인 이드로가 네 아내와 두 아들과 더불어 네게 왔노라. 모세가 나가서 장인을 맞아 절하고 입 맞추고 서로 문안하고 함께 장막에 들어가서, 모세가 여호와께서 이스라엘을 위하여 바로와 애굽 사람에게 행하신 모든 일과 길에서 당한 고난과 여호와께서 구원하신 일을 다 말하매, 이드로가 여호와께서 이스라엘에게 큰 은혜를 베푸사 애굽 사람의 손에서 구원하심을 기뻐하여, 여호와를 찬송하리로다 너희를 애굽 사람의 손과 바로의 손에서 건져내시고 백성을 애굽 사람의 손에서 건지셨도다. 이제 내가 알았도다 여호와는 모든 신보다 크시므로 이스라엘에게 교만하게 행하는 그들을 이기셨도다 하고, 모세의 장인 이드로가 번제물과 희생제물들을 하나님께 가져오매 아론과 이스라엘 모든 장로가 와서 모세의 장인과 함께 하나님 앞에서 떡을 먹었듯(18:5-12)” 진실한 간증으로 이방인에게 하나님을 전하고 증거하게 사용하며, 듣고 깨닫고 감동하여 함께 경배하고 찬양하며 협력하게 하십니다.

Then, everyone will be devoted to the witness of the God’s loves and the powers to many peoples, as that Moses was, as “Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, together with Moses’ sons and wife, came to him in the desert, where he was camped near the mountain of God. Jethro had sent word to him, ‘I, your father-in-law Jethro, am coming to you with your wife and her two sons. So, Moses went out to meet his father-in-law and bowed down and kissed him. They greeted each other and then went into the tent. Moses told his father-in-law about everything the Lord had done to Pharaoh and the Egyptians for Israel’s sake and about all the hardships they had met along the way and how the Lord had saved them. Jethro was delighted to hear about all the good things the Lord had done for Israel in rescuing them from the hand of the Egyptians. He said, ‘Praise be to the Lord, who rescued you from the hand of the Egyptians and Pharaoh, and who rescued the people from the hand of the Egyptians. Now I know that the Lord is greater than all other gods, for he did this to those who had treated Israel arrogantly. Then Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, brought a burnt offering and other sacrifices to God, and Aaron came with all the elders of Israel to eat bread with Moses’ father-in-law in the presence of God. (18:5-12)”

그러므로 “이튿날 모세가 백성을 재판하느라고 앉아 있고 백성은 아침부터 저녁까지 모세 곁에 서 있는지라. 모세의 장인이 모세가 백성에게 행하는 모든 일을 보고 이르되 네가 이 백성에게 행하는 일이 어찌 됨이냐 어찌하여 홀로 앉아 있고 백성은 아침부터 저녁까지 네 곁에 서 있느냐. 모세가 그의 장인에게 대답하되 백성이 하나님께 물으려고 내게로 옴이라. 그들이 일이 있으면 내게로 오나니 내가 재판하여 하나님의 율례와 법도를 알게 하나이다. 모세의 장인이 이르되 네가 하는 것이 옳지 못하도다. 너와 함께 한 이 백성이 필경 기력이 쇠하리니 일이 너무 중함이라 혼자 할 수 없으리라. 내 말을 들으라 내가 네게 방침을 가르치리니 하나님이 너와 함께 계실지로다 너는 하나님 앞에서 백성을 위하여 사건들을 하나님께 가져오며, 그들에게 율례와 법도를 가르쳐서 마땅히 갈 길과 할 일을 보이고, 온 백성 가운데서 능력 있고 하나님을 두려워하며 진실하며 불의한 이익을 미워하는 자를 살펴서 백성 위에 세워 천부장과 백부장과 오십부장과 십부장을 삼아, 때를 따라 백성을 재판하게 하라 큰 일은 모두 네게 가져갈 것이요 작은 일은 모두 그들이 스스로 재판하면 너와 함께 담당할 것인즉 일이 쉬우리라. 만일 하나님께서 허락하시면 네가 이 일을 감당하고 모든 백성도 자기 곳으로 평안히 가리라(18:13-23)” 하였듯, 이방인을 통해서도 가르치는 하나님이므로, 자신의 생각과 지식과 기준을 버리고 겸손하게 배우며 순종해야 됩니다.

Therefore, you shall be denied and discarded your own knowledges, ideas, desires and plans all, but ask, seek and knock the real truth of God and humbly learned and studied by the everything and everyone even the Gentiles, because, the God of Almighty surely be teaching his wills by the everything, as “The next day Moses took his seat to serve as judge for the people, and they stood around him from morning till evening. When his father-in-law saw all that Moses was doing for the people, he said, ‘What is this you are doing for the people? Why do you alone sit as judge, while all these people sand around you from morning to evening? Moses answered him, ‘Because the people come to me to seek God’s will. Whenever they have a dispute, it is brought to me, and I decide between the parties and inform them of God’s decrees and laws. Moses’ father-in-law replied, ‘What you are doing is not good. You and these people who come to you will only wear yourselves out. The work is too heavy for you; you cannot handle it alone. Listen now to me and I will give you some advice, and may God be with you. You must be the people’s representative before God and bring their disputes to him. Teach them the decrees and laws, and show them the way to live and the duties they are to perform. But select capable men from all the people-men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain-and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. Have them serve as judges for the people at all times, but have them bring every difficult case to you; the simple cases they can decide themselves. That will make your load lighter, because they will share it with you. If you do this and God so commands, you will be able to stand the strain, and all these people will go home satisfied. (18:13-23)”

그래서 “모세가 장인의 모든 말대로 하여, 이스라엘 무리 중에서 능력 있는 사람들을 택하여 백성의 천부장과 백부장과 오십부장과 십부장을 삼으매, 그들이 때를 따라 백성을 재판하되 어려운 일은 모세에게 가져오고 작은 일은 스스로 재판하더라. 모세가 그의 장인을 보내니 그가 자기 땅으로 가니라(18:24-27)” 증거하며, 이스라엘 백성처럼 불평하고 원망하며 시험하는 죄에 빠지면 징계와 심판을 받고, 모세와 여호수아처럼 겸손하게 맡기고 따라가며 순종하면 하나님께서 대신 싸우고 이루시는 삼위일체 하나님 임마누엘 형통한 은혜와 사랑과 능력과 복을 받으므로, 그리스도 복음의 진리에 따라 자신을 낮추고 겸손하게 수용하고 포용하며 맡기고 의지하며 순종하는 믿음으로 임마누엘 하나님 형통한 능력 안에서 복음의 증인으로 헌신하고 대속과 구원 얻기를 예수 그리스도 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

That’s why, the Lord God testified for his servant Moses was accepted and followed his father-in-law Jethro, even he was priest of the Gentiles, as “Moses listened to his father-in-law and did everything he said. He chose capable men from all Israel and made them leaders of the people, officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. They served as judges for the people at all times. The difficult cases they brought to Moses, but the simple ones they decided themselves. Then Moses sent his father-in-law on his way, and Jethro returned to his own country. (18:24-27)” Because, the Lord God Almighty surely be condemned and destroyed to everyone, who had been grumbled and complaint, but, whoever, he will be commit himself to God and asks for the will of God and humbly obedience to his teachings, the Lord will be Trinity God of Immanuel to him and surely be accomplished according to his eternal purposes in him as well and save his eternal life in the kingdom of heaven of God forever and ever. I hopefully prayer for you everyone, you shall be have had as that good and worthy faith in Christ Jesus all. Amen.
