나팔꽃의 팡파르에  
Morning glory

바다 심연(深淵)에서 솟아오르는
우람한 태양이 아니어도 좋으리.
심산 언덕바지 기어오르는 태양
산 노루 산새들의
신비의 대상이 아니어도 좋으리.
 
마천루에 솟아오르는 아침의 영광
축하하는 나팔꽃의
팡파르에
만물이 기지개 켜는 이른 아침
 
인간소외의 관념(觀念)의 홍수에
식상한 현대인에
신선한 충격으로 기지개를 켜게
나팔수여 팡파르 힘차게 불어라.
 
새로운 태양이 찬란하게 빛날 때
고식적 삶에서 환골탈태하여
본래의 생명력을 회복하도록
나팔수여 팡파르 힘차게 불어라.
 
빨간 나팔곷도
파랑 나팔꽃도
하얀 나팔꽃도
보라 빛 너도.
 
생명의 에너지인 태양 예찬하는
아침의 영광(Morning glory)
아! 나팔꽃이여!
팡파르 힘차게 불어 마음껏 축복하라.

All right even if not the magnificent sun
that soars from the deep abyss
All right even if not the almighty sun
Which crimes up the cliff of high mountain
And is mysterious for wild deers and birds
 
At the fanfare of trumpet flowers
To celebrate the Morning glory
Rising over the skyscraper,
All living things stretch in the early morning
 
Trumpeter! Blow fanfare vigorously
To knock some fresh sense into
Modern humans fed up with
The flood of ideas alienated from human
 
Trumpeter! blow fanfare vigorously
To restore the original vitality by rebirth
from an old-fashioned life,
When new sun shines brilliantly
 
In order to praise the the sun, source of energy,
Ah, The morning glory, trumpet flowers!
Red morning glory,
Blue one,
White one,
And you, purple one, too
Blow fanfare and bless to the utmost.
