Dharma of the Buddha(부처님의가르침)은

Sutra(經 ), Vinaya(律), Abhidharma*(論)등 세가지로 나누어,

Sutra-pitaka(經藏), Vinaya-pitaka(律藏:율장)

Abhidharma- pitaka(논장:論藏)등을 합해서 

Tripitaka(三藏:삼장)라고 산스크리트어로 부른다.

pitaka는 영어로 바꾸면 물건을 보관하는 basket(바구니)의뜻,

5)powwer to appear at will in any place and to have absolute

‘아주오래전’을 beginningless  beginning

  탐진치;일체 죄업의 근원

*desirous attachment, anger and ignorance;

*moral conduct;   계-수행자의 실천 윤리 

*concentration;    정- 번뇌 망상을 끊은 삼매의 선정

*wisdom;          혜- 깨달아 얻은 보리 지혜

*dust particles;    삼천대천세계, 티끌만큼 많은 우주의 세계

*분신변진찰(分身遍塵刹)- 티끌만큼 많은 우주의세계에 두루 나눈다,

     emanate oneself throughout all the worlds

     equalling (또는 equla) to dust particles,

*광도제중생(廣度濟衆生) 

    -liberate all migrators extensive as space,

(허공만큼넓은 중생들을 제도하다), - migrators-transmigrators

윤회하는중생의뜻,허공만큼 널리퍼져있는 중생-pervasive as space.

*사홍서원(四弘誓願)-four great vows   *‘무진’은 inexhaustible,

*중생(衆生) - sentient beings, living beings, beings,migrators,

*무변’ 한 숫자- innumerable.뜻은 pervasive as space,

*번뇌(煩惱)-delusions,agglictions,passions,anxieties,

*법문(法門)-Buddha's teachings 또Dharma doors

*무량(無量)- immeasurable,

*불도(佛道)-the way of the Buddha, Buddhahod,

*무상(無常)- unsurpnassable.

*번뇌망상-allthedelusions *머무르다-abide *자성- (wothin)myself

◎육바라밀 

perfectiom of Giving-보시,    *Moral Condoct -지계,

*Patience-인욕, *Diligence-정진, *Concentration-선정,

*Wisdom-반야 

◎사무량심 

*Love-慈,    *Compassion-悲,  *Joy-喜,   *Equannimity-捨 

*원이발원이-Having developed aspirations, and further having taken the vows(원을 세웠고,서원의 발표도 이미했으므로 )

*원(願 )- 보리심을 품고 세운상태 이른바

          (aspining enlightenment mind,짧게는 aspirations)

*발원(發願)-engaging enlightennent mind

*귀명례삼보-go for refuge to the Three Treasures

            at the cost of my life I take my refuge in ~

 *삼보(三寶)-The buddha, Buddha's teaching, the Sangha

           Three Treeasures,

*불(佛)-Buddha

*법(法) -the Buddha's teaching, Dharma, Doctrine,

         Law, Truth, Nom,Gospel, True Idea,

*승(僧)-The Sangha, Arya-Sangha,

        Assembly of the Elect, Order(of Monks),Community,

높은이들의 모임(Assemby of the Elect),

승단,종단을 뜻한다는 Order,Community 형용사를

삼보앞에 붙여 강조하는게 바람직하게 느껴진다.

*불-the complete Buddha(무상정등각을 얻은 부처님)

*법-the sacred Dharma(성스러운 가르침)

*승-the superior Sangha(높으신 승가)

*견성(見性:seeing the self- nature)
