미국의 뮤지컬 작곡가 겸 재즈 뮤지션 'Cole Porter'가 1953년

공연된 뮤지컬 〈Can-Can〉을 위해 쓴 인기 곡으로,

배우 'Peter Cookson'이 'Judge Aristide Forestier'라는

캐릭터로 소개 했습니다.

또한 이 노래는 'Cole Porter' 뮤지컬 〈High Society〉 에서도

사용됩니다. 1998년 브로드웨이 오리지널 프로덕션에서는

배우 'Melissa Errico' 가 연기한 캐릭터 'Tracy Samantha Lord'가

불렀습니다.

『It's All Right with Me』는 당시 인기 가수 'Peggy Lee', 'Bing

Crosby', 'Frank Sinatra'를 위시하여 'Eddie Higgins Quartet',

'Sonny Rollins' 등 기라성 같은 뮤지션들에 의해 커버 및

리메이크 되면서 오늘날까지 연주되고 있는 Jazz Standard
