오늘부터 Sleepers 진도를 나갔습니다.<br /><br />지난번 Hatchet 을 마무리 하고 바로 이어서 Sleepers 줄거리로 들어갔어요.<br /><br />영화로도 만들어 졌 있어서 전체적인 줄거리는 알수 있었습니다. <br /><br />분량 예측을 잘 못해서? 좀 과하게 욕심을 냈나봐요. 블랙홀님은 제 분량을 다 채워오셨는데.. 저는 부족했습니다. <br /><br />어쨋든 원서읽기가 익숙해 지면 지면을 통해 접하는 영어가 머리아픈 존재는 아닐거란 기대를 가지며... <br /><br />오늘도 험께해주신 블랙홀님께 감사드려요..

I finished book one in the morning during my commute time. Now, I can read book two. So, I hope to finish the preparation for this weekend English reading class.
In book 2, we need to focus on four janitors' cruel and inhumane behavior. All of them are normal people in normal circumstances while they turn out to be the sheer opposite in a special condition where they have absolute power over inmates. I wish you also read about Stanley Milgram's Obedience-to-authority experiment, which also explains a bit about Nazi's Holocaust. The janitor coud be you or me.....also think about GUANTANAMO Bay detention camp of the U.S.
I also was surprised while I was reading the part, in the prison. They treated the prisoners as a pet ora toy. Depends on their circumstance, people would be changed.
