November Two-Day Retreat (Nov. 10-11th)
Reported by Ryota Naito
CARP Las Vegas had their final Two-Day Workshop of the semester. It was a beautiful and uplifting workshop with a total of six guests; four returning, two new. The atmosphere was filled with a culture and spirit of serving one another and eagerness of discovering the Divine Principle for themselves. Mr. Neville LaBoory, who has been in CARP in San Francisco for sixteen years, gifted the participants with a wealth of his personal experiences in the Principle, through his lectures. There was truly a genuine connection between the participants and the lecturer. They were able to ask questions freely through a written question and answer process. In the end, everyone participated in a night of bonfire. It was a memorable one, with participants sharing honestly about their journey in discovering God in their life, which brought them to shed tears. One brother shared his challenges in sincerely wanting to know who God is to him, which ended with all the brothers embracing him with a group hug. The retreat was a treat for everyone not just for the moment, but for them to carry forward as they continue in their journey with God.
