So they, sent forth by the holy Spirit, went down to Seleucia and from there sailed to Cyprus. When they arrived in Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God in the Jewish synagogues. They had John also as their assistant.

Jesus, a young man from Nazareth. He lived up to God's expectations until the end. From the beginning, he was far from personal ambition or achievement. He went to places where God's people gathered and reminded people of what they had lost. He gave rights to those who could not live like human beings and removed the conventions, prejudices, and restraints that made them unfree. He neither sought power nor was he obsessed with it. Nevertheless, the powers large and small that led his era felt threatened by him. This may be because he lived in pursuit of the truth that is indispensable among people and the truth of God. So his words and life became a revolutionary message in his time. He shook the strong foundations of his era, which seemed like they would never change. However, the people of his time refused to be renewed and murdered him. But he was revived, and his teachings and life had a greater impact on people. As a man sent by God, he ultimately became the ‘Word of God (gospel).’ Guided by the Holy Spirit, this gospel spread rapidly among people.
