<P>BOSTON - There was a report from Sacramento earlier this week that the Kings would be willing to trade center Brad Miller to the Lakers for Lamar Odom. The story, as reported in the Sacramento Bee, made sense on two counts.
<P>First, the Lakers would get a backup center in case Andrew Bynum can't come back from a torn knee ligament this season. Second, the Kings would take on Odom's expiring contract, which would help in their rebuilding efforts for 2009-10.
<P>But Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak quashed the story. Kupchak said the Lakers would press ahead with the players already on their roster and hope Bynum returns sooner rather than later.

<P>"I want to stay. I love L.A. I'm done moving around. I've been in L.A. since 1999. Why would I want to go anywhere else? And I want to win the big one. Why not? You're playing, you might as well want to win, right? I've lost plenty. It's time to win.

<P>Of the rumors of a trade with the Kings, he said, "I've got to ignore it."
<P>The biggest obstacle to an Odom-for-Miller swap is that Miller's salary for next season is $12.3 million, which is more than the Lakers would wish to pay anyone to serve as a backup center to Bynum or Pau Gasol.
<P>Odom, whose salary this season is $11.4 million but counts as a $14.1-million salary-cap hit, is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent July 1. The Lakers could have signed him to a contract extension last summer, but decided to wait.
<P><B>Elite company:</B> Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol scored 30 or more points in each of the past two games before Thursday, the first pair of Lakers to accomplish the feat since Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal did it together April10 and 13, 2003.

이번 시즌 우승하면 반드시 잡아줬으면 합니다. 근데 우승하고 플옵에서 활약하면 덩달아 몸값도 올라가고 할 터인데... 과연 잡을 수 있을지 의문이네요. 분명히 다른 팀에서 1000만 이상 장기 계약 오퍼가 들어올거라고 저는 확신 합니다. 요즘같은 빅맨희귀 시대에 오덤의 리바운드 능력과 다재다능한 재능은 분명히 매력이죠

오브롱이 없었다면 바이넘이 드러누운 현 상황은 정말 절망적이었을 겁니다. 오브롱...정이 많이 들었는데 몸값 좀 디스카운트해서 남아주길
저도 오덤이 레이커스에서 코비와 함께 명예롭게 은퇴하는 모습을 보고 싶습니다.
