<P>Yao, the Rockets' All-Star center, underwent a successful arthroscopic procedure to remove a bone spur in his left ankle Thursday night, the team announced Friday.</P>
<P>The 7-foot-6 Yao, who posted career highs in points per game (18.3), field-goal percentage (55.3) and blocks (160) last season, is expected to begin rehabilitating his ankle in the coming weeks, the team said.</P>
<P>The first overall pick of the 2002 NBA draft, Yao has averaged 16.4 points and 8.5 rebounds in his career. He has been an All-Star in each of his three seasons with the Rockets, who lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Mavericks.</P>

<P>Kevin O'Connor, the Jazz vice president for basketball operations, said Friday the team hopes to have a decision on Lopez before the end of the month.</P>
<P>"We're in discussions with him to see exactly what he wants to do and what we want to do," O'Connor said.</P>
<P>If the Jazz reach an agreement with the 25-year-old Lopez, he might resume </P>
<P>playing professionally in his native Spain.</P>
<P>Lopez, who had two major surgeries on his right knee before ever playing for the Jazz, played in only 31 games last season. He missed the first 18 while recovering from cartilage surgery on his right knee after bumping it in a preseason scrimmage. After playing the middle stretch of the season, he injured his left knee and didn't play again.</P>
<P>The Jazz have four picks in the upcoming draft, including two in the first round, and have been looking heavily at guards. Lopez is the only point guard still under contract.</P></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></DIV>

아로요는 벌써 디트로이트로 갔죠. 야오밍 수술은 성공적으로 끝났다고 합니다. 유타는 이번에 확실히 포가를 잡아야될 겁니다.
로페즈는 스스로 고향으로 돌아가고 싶다고 했다네요.. 유타는 로페즈를 위해서 스페인으로 보내준다고 합니다.
로페즈 정말 안타깝다는...--;포가중에서는 나름대로 제일 기대하던 선수인데..
