Habakkuk 2:1~5 -and 3:17~19
1. I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answers I am to give to this complaint.
2. Then the LORD replied. "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tables so that a herald may run with it.
3. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
4. "See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright- but the righteous person will liveby his faithfulness-
5. indeed, wine betrays him; he is arrogant and never at rest. Because he is as greedy as the grave and like death is never satisfied, he gathers to himself all the nations and takes captive all the peoples.
17. Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,
18. Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.

19. The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights.

1. 나는 내가 보는 앞에 서서 성벽 위에 서서, 그가 나에게 무슨 말을 할지, 내가 이 불평에 대해 어떤 대답을 할지 지켜볼 것이다.
2. 그러자 주께서 대답하셨다. 너희는 그 계시를 기록하고, 표 위에 명기하여, 전령이 그 계시와 함께 달릴 수 있도록 하여라.
3. 그 계시가 약속된 때를 기다리니, 그 계시가 끝을 말하고 거짓으로 증명되지 않을 것입니다. 비록 그것이 계속되긴 하지만, 그것을 기다려라. 그것은 반드시 올 것이고 지체하지 않을 것이다.
4. `보아라, 원수들은 부푼 것이다. 그의 욕망은 정직하지 않다. 그러나 의로운 사람은 그의 충실함으로 살 것이다
5. 술은 그를 배신한다. 그는 교만하고 결코 안정되지 않는다. 그는 무덤처럼 탐욕스럽고, 죽음이 결코 만족스럽지 못하므로, 모든 민족을 자기에게로 모으고, 모든 민족을 포로로 잡는다.
17. 무화과나무는 싹을 틔우지 않고, 포도나무에는 포도가 나지 않지만, 올리브는 망하고, 밭에는 먹을 것이 나오지 않는다. 그러나 양은 울타리 안에 없고, 소는 울타리 안에 없다,
18. 그러나 나는 주님 안에서 기뻐하고, 나의 구원자이신 하나님 안에서 기뻐할 것이다.

19. 주 여호와는 나의 힘이 되시고, 나의 발을 사슴의 발처럼 만들어 주시며, 내가 높은 곳을 걸을 수 있게 해주시니라.)
