'프렌치 마드모아젤 French Mademoiselles'하면 프랑스 아가씨들이란 뜻이다. 프렌치 마드모아젤은 자유롭고 섹시하며 스스로 주저하지 않는다. 냉소적인 페미즘을 노래하지만 장난꾸러기같은 유머가 있다. 앞면 6곡, 뒷면 6곡이 담긴 모든 곡들에는 직관적이면서 충동적으로 끌리는 느낌의 스윙감이 넘친다. 톡 쏘는 맛, 시니컬하기도 웃기지만 한편 허무하기도 하다. 그러나 모든 곡이 한결같이 마음을 사로잡아 끌리는 힘이 있다.

파리에서 녹음하고 런던에서 믹싱한 아가씨 듀오의 첫번째 앨범이다. 곡은 재키 델랜스(Jacky Delance)와 자크 페르시(Jacques Ferchit)가 썼다. 프랑스 거장 작곡가들이다. 사운드 엔지니어 로저 베키리안(Roger Béchirian)은 엘비스 코스텔로(Elvis Costello), 셜리 배시 (Shirley Bassey) , 더 프리텐더스(The Pretenders)의 앨범을 프로듀싱하기도 했다. 

 <더 프렌치 마드모아젤 The French Mademoiselles>은 두 명의 파리지앵 아가씨인 마드모아젤 KT 카티아(Katia)와 마드모아젤 L 렉시(Lexie)가 여성들의 섹시함과 재미에 관해 노래하는 1960년대 빈티지 레트로 프렌치 팝 스타일 음악이다. 데뷔앨범 엘피(LP)반이다.
