참부모경 - 444. 무도의 중요성과 교육

참부모님께서는 1997년 3월 23일 미국 워싱턴DC 힐튼호텔에서 원화도를 중심한 세계 무도인들이 참가한 가운데 세계평화무도연합을 창설하셨다. 세계평화무도연합은 전 세계 40여 개국에서 기반을 갖추고 평화의 사회·국가·세계를 구축하는 데 이바지하기 위한 여러 활동을 전개해오고 있다. 2012년 2월 25일 한국으로 그 본부를 옮기고 출범식을 가졌다. 참부모님께서는 이 땅에 평화세계를 실현하기 위해서는 무술이 필요하다고 하시며, 특히 청소년들의 몸과 마음을 훈련하는 데 무술이 기여해야 된다고 말씀하셨다.
 
1 앞으로 세상에 전쟁을 그치게 될 때에는 운동과 예술에 관심이 쏠리게 될 것입니다. 세계의 젊은 청년들이 혈기왕성한 것을 소모할 길이 없습니다. 운동으로써만 이것을 소모시킬 수 있습니다. 운동 가운데서도 무술을 해야 됩니다. 왜 무술이 필요하냐? 악마가 힘을 가지고 세계를 지배했으니 이제는 하늘의 힘을 중심삼고 무술의 챔피언이 되어야 합니다. 거기에 사상까지 일치된 몸 마음을 가지고 하늘의 권위를 중심삼고 가정에서 자리 잡고 종족·민족·국가까지 자리 잡아야 합니다. 그래서 매해 챔피언을 뽑는 대회를 해야 됩니다. 무술대회에서 초등학교 챔피언, 중고등학교 챔피언, 대학교 챔피언이 나오면 그 무술 챔피언은 선생이 될 수 있습니다. 대학교의 챔피언이 된 사람은 중고등학교 선생을 하고, 나라를 중심삼고 대통령까지 교육할 수 있습니다. 그렇게 함으로써 무술을 중심삼고 악마에게 파괴되는 이 세계를 방어해야 됩니다.
 
2 젊은 사람들이 제일 좋아하는 것은 체육입니다. 운동과 예술, 그다음에는 무술입니다. 문화가 발전할수록 운동 종목도 발전해 나갑니다. 그래서 동시에 자기 몸과 마음을 훈련시킬 수 있는 비준을 맞추어 평면 일원화하게 되면 거기에서 어느 기준에 올라가서는 도약해야 됩니다. 대번에 자기 소원대로 되는 것이 없습니다. 단계를 거처야 됩니다.
 
3 아버님은 사상적인 면에서나 육체적인 면에서나 세계적으로 승리할 수 있는 재력(才力)이 있는 사람을 길러 내야 되겠다고 생각하고 있습니다. 우리는 선을 가진 역사에 없는 강한 용사가 되어야 합니다. 선은 정지해 있는 것이 아니라 발전해 갑니다. 발전하기 위해서는 저력이 있어야 됩니다. 한국에는 정도술이라는 무술이 있습니다. 그 무술에는 13미터 위에서 내리뛰는 동작도 있습니다. 떨어지면서 넘어지는 것이 아니라 떨어지면서도 공격해야 되는 것입니다. 여러분에게 그런 훈련을 시켰으면 좋겠습니다. 13미터의 3배 이상인 40미터 꼭대기에서 떨어져도 죽지 않는다는 자신과 죽지 않는다는 사상을 가져야 됩니다. 아버님이 여러분을 훈련시킨다면 아주 강력한 훈련을 시키고 싶습니다.
 
4 원화도를 지금 당장 안 하면 안 되는 시점에 놓여 있습니다. 이것을 시급히 세계화해야 됩니다. 그러려면 여러분이 강력하게 일을 벌일 수 있는 사람들이 되어야 합니다. 원화도는 하늘로부터 시작되었습니다. 원화도는 앞으로 첫째 외적 체육의 무술적 기대를 조성해야 됩니다. 모든 운동분야에서 무술을 통함으로써 완전한 기대를 조성해야 됩니다. 둘째는 내적 영적 가치의 부식화입니다. 인간세계에는 내 마음, 내적인 것이 있고, 그다음에는 영계가 있습니다. 내적 영적 가치의 부식화는 뭐냐? 원화도를 통해 육체운동을 함으로써 그 시간 시간 배우는 모든 동작을 통해 원리의 깊은 곳을 점점 파고 들어가는 것이 가능하다는 것입니다. 셋째는 세계통일입니다. 두 세계를 통일하는 것입니다. 두 세계는 영육세계를 말하는데, 원화도를 통해서 정신무장이 가능합니다. 육적 세계와 영적 세계의 정신무장도 가능하다는 것입니다. 넷째는 민주와 공산, 양 세계의 청년 무장을 착지화할 수 있다는 것입니다. 어디를 가든지 이 무술을 하게 되면 쫓겨나지 않습니다. 이 원화도를 배워 보면 모든 것이 자연스럽습니다. 자연스러우면서 하면 할수록 재미납니다. 그것을 연결하게 되면 체육도 될 수 있고, 모든 운동의 근본 동작과 연결된다고 봅니다. 그렇기 때문에 민주와 공산, 양 세계의 청년 무장을 착지화할 수 있습니다. 옛날 화랑도와 마찬가지로 무술 자체를 배우는 것이 영적 교리를 통달하는 길이 됩니다.

真の父母様は、一九九七年三月二十三日、アメリカのワシントンＤＣにあるヒルトン・ ホテルで、「圓和道」を中心とした世界の武道家たちが参加する中、「世界平和武道連合」を創設された、「世界平和武道連合」は、全世界四十ヵ国以上で基盤 を整え、平和の社会、国家、世界の構築に貢献するための様々な活動を展開してきている。二〇一二年二月二十五日には、韓国にその本部を移し、出帆式が行わ れた。真の父母様は、この地に平和世界を実現するためには武術が必要であるとされ、特に「青少年の体と心を訓練することに、武術が寄与しなければならな い」と語られた。
 
1  今後、世の中で戦争が終わるようになれば、スポーツと芸術に関心が注がれるでしょう。血気盛んな世界の若い青年たちの力を発散させる道がありません。ス ポーツだけが、これを発散させることができます。スポーツの中でも、武術をしなければなりません。なぜ武術が必要なのでしょうか。悪魔が力をもって世界を 支配したので、今からは天の力を中心として、武術のチャンピオンにならなければならないのです。そこに思想まで一致した体と心をもって、天の権威を中心と して家庭で定着し、氏族、民族、国家まで定着しなければなりません。
ですから、毎年チャンピオンを選ぶ大会をしなければなりません。武術大会で小学校チャンピオン、中学・高等学校チャンピオン、大学チャンピオンが出 れば、その武術のチャンピオンは、先生になることができるのです。大学のチャンピオンになった人は中学・高等学校の先生をし、国を中心として、大統領まで 教育することができます。そのようにすることによって、武術を中心として、悪魔に破壊されるこの世界を守らなければなりません。
 
2  若い人たちが最も好むものは体育です。スポーツと芸術、その次には武術です。文化が発展するほど、スポーツ種目も発展していきます。ですから、同時に、自 分の体と心を訓練することに標準を合わせて平面に一元化すれば、あるレベルに到達してからは跳躍しなければなりません。一遍に自分の願いどおりになること はありません。段階を経ていかなければならないのです。
 
3  お父様は、思想的な面でも肉体的な面でも、世界的に勝利できる、才能ある人を育てなければならないと考えています。私たちは、善を備えた、歴史にない強い 勇士にならなければなりません。善は停止しているのではなく発展していきます。発展するためには、底力がなければなりません。
韓国には正道術という武術があります。その武術には、十三メートルの高さから飛び降りる訓練もあります。落下しながらあお向けに倒れるのではなく、 落下していても攻撃しなければなりません。皆さんに、そのような訓練をさせたら良いと思っています。例えば十三メートルの三倍以上、四十メールのてっぺん から落ちても死なないというぐらいの自信と思想をもたなければなりません。お父様が皆さんを訓練させるとすれば、非常に厳しい訓練をさせたいと思います。
 
4  今すぐに「圓和道」をしなければならない時点に置かれています。これを急いで世界化しなければなりません。そのためには、皆さんが強烈に活動を展開できる 人々にならなければなりません。「圓和道」は天から始まりました。
「圓和道」は今後、第一に、外的体育の武術的基台を造成しなければなりません。あらゆるスポーツ分野で、武術に通ずることにより、完全な基台を造成しなければなりません。
第二は、内的・霊的価値の涵養です。人間世界には、心、内的なものがあり、その次には霊界があります。内的・霊的価値の涵養とは何でしょうか。「圓 和道」を通して肉体運動をすることによって、その時々に学ぶすべての動作を通して、原理の深い所を次第に掘り下げていくことが可能だというのです。
第三は、世界統一です。二つの世界を統一するのです。二つの世界とは霊と肉の世界のことを意味するのですが、圓和道を通して精神武装が可能です。肉的世界と霊的世界の精神武装も可能だというのです。
第四は、民主と共産、両世界の青年の(精神)武装を定着させられるということです。どこに行っても、この武術をするようになれば追い出されません。 この「圓和道」を習ってみれば、すべてが自然なのです。自然でありながら、すればするほどおもしろくなります。それを連結するようになれば、体育にもな り、すべてのスポーツの根本動作と連結されると考えるのです。ですから、民主と共産、両世界の青年の(精神)武装を定着させられるのです。昔の花郎道 （ファランド）と同じように、武術自体を学ぶことが霊的教理に精通する道になるのです。

The Martial Arts Federation for World Peace was founded by True Parents at the Hilton Hotel in Washington, DC on March 23, 1997, with world martial artists, including Won Hwa Do practitioners, in attendance. The Federation has branches in 40 countries around the world and carries out activities that contribute to peace in societies, nations and the world. On February 25, 2012, the Federation moved its headquarters to Korea. According to True Parents, martial arts are needed to realize a peaceful world. Also, martial arts are essential for youth to learn to discipline their mind and body. 
 
1 In the future, when wars no longer take place, people will focus their interest on sports and the arts. There will be no way, other than sports, to exhaust the boundless energy of the world's young people. Among the different kinds of sports, you have to practice martial arts. Why are martial arts nec essary? Satan gathered his energy and conquered the world, but now, we need to be champions of martial arts gathering the energy of Heaven. In the same manner, having a united mind and body centered on Heaven's authority, you ought to be able to settle in the family, tribe, society and nation.

This is why we have to hold a tournament every year and determine a champion. The champion in the martial arts tournament on the elementary, middle and high school levels, or the university level, can become an instructor. The university-level champion can be an instructor for the middle and high school students first, and later be in a position to educate even the president of a country. In this way, through martial arts, we must protect that which is being ravaged by devils. (384-280, 2002/07/06)
 
2 Physical training in sports, the arts, and then martial arts is what young people like most. The more a culture develops, the more sports events develop as well. That is why you ought to set up a standard where your mind and body can be trained at the same time. When they become one, you can step up to the next level. You cannot reach the next level immediately just because you want to. You must pass through stages of growth. (466-113, 2004/08/26)
 
3 I believe we have to raise talented people, mentally and physically, who can be victorious on a world level. We must be strong soldiers, the likes of which never existed in history where goodness has been weak. Goodness will not cease, but will advance, and in order to do this, we must realize our latent energy.

There is a martial art called Jeong Do Sul in Korea. In that martial art, there is a movement where one has to jump from a height of 13 meters and not simply fall to the ground, but come up attacking. It would be good to give you training such as this. You need to have the confidence and the mind-set that you will not die, even if you leap from a height of 40 meters, which is three times that height. If I were the one to train you, I would give intense training. (065-305, 1973/03/04)
 
4 You need to think that you must learn Won Hwa Do right away. You have to integrate it into the world immediately. Won Hwa Do originated from Heaven. From now on, Won Hwa Do must first make a foundation for your external education in the form of martial arts. We must create a perfect foundation where all areas in sports correlate with martial arts.

Second, we need to instill internal and spiritual values. Human beings have an internal aspect, a mind, which relates with the spiritual realm. What does the planting of internal and spiritual values mean? By learning the various movements of Won Hwa Do, we learn the internal contents of the Divine Principle deeply.

Third, we must accomplish the unification of the world. We have to unite the physical and spiritual worlds. Through Won Hwa Do, you can empower yourself spiritually and physically. It is also possible to empower the physical world and the spiritual world.

Fourth, equip youth in both the democratic and communist worlds with Won Hwa Do. Wherever you go, when you practice this martial art, you will not be chased away. Once you start to practice Won Hwa Do, everything will feel natural. Because it is natural, the more you practice it, the more enjoyable it is. It can also be connected with physical education. I envision it as containing the basic movements common to all games. For this reason, young people in both the democratic realm and communist blocs need to be equipped with Won Hwa Do. Similar to Hwa Rang Do in the old days, martial arts will be a path toward the mastery of spiritual teachings. (181-320, 1988/10/03)
