내용 : 복지영문 1차 공부｜Social Work

1차 공부 전, 복지영문 원고를 각자 읽고 왔습니다.

시작하기에 앞서 우리에게 이 공부의 목적이 무엇인지 의논했습니다.

복지영문을 통하여

1) 사회사업 실천 근거를 되짚으며 확인하고,

2) (시설) 사회사업에서 반영할 바를 정리하는 데 뜻이 있습니다.

읽는 과정에 영어 공부가 수반되겠으나, 영어 자체가 목적은 아닙니다.

(그러자면 직원교육사업으로 하기 어렵다고 생각합니다.)

그저 무엇을 말하는지 알기 위한 것도 아닙니다.

(그러자면 여러 도구를 활용해 해석하는 편이 빠르고 수월하겠습니다.)

근무 중에 시간 내어 한다면, 뜻있게, 실무에 도움이 되게 하자고 했습니다.

1차 공부로 'Social Work'를 함께 읽고 나누었습니다.

It is very easy to be drawn here and there by different pressures and demands,

but we must keep a clear focus on our social work role at all times.

but, whatever form it takes, we will need to keep a clear focus on its core elements.

Generalist Social Work

First, human behavior is inextricably connected to the social and physical environment.

A change initiated by either person or environment triggers a response by the other.

It takes in the whole, even when focusing on an individual part.

Practitioners visualize potential clients and agents for change on a continuum ranging

from micro- to mezzo- to macrolevel interventions.

Generalist social workers view problems in context,

combine practice techniques to fit the situation,

and implement skills to intervene at multiple system levels.
