<p><strong>2014. 2. 26. Wednesday.</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Blessing of meeting(Acts 18:1~4)</strong></p><p> </p><p> After this, Paul left Athens and went to Corinth. There he met a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had commanded all the Jews to leave Rome. There is the meeting of family in the meeting of one's parents, spouse, and children. And there is the meeting of your occupation, your work. Many people work in their jobs but complain about a lot of things. The most blessed meeting in one's life is the meeting with God. If you enjoy the blessing of meeting God, it becomes a new beginning that can transcend everything. What was the blessing of meeting that the couple. Priscilla and Aquila, enjoyed?</p><p> </p><p><strong>1. The meeting of discovering myself in the Gospel</strong></p><p> When you discover yourself in the Gospel, you come to realize why problems keep coming to the family, why people are unceasingly corrupt, and why even when people succeed they are ruined. Moreover, you come know why people fall into shamanism, fortunetelling, and idolatry, and why people are so gradually being ruined that they are unaware of it. Because we could never resolve this problem God sent us Jesus to solve it all on the cross. If you discover yourself in the Gospel you come to realize how blessed you are.</p><p> </p><p><strong>2. Meeting with the evangelist</strong></p><p> In AD 49, the emperor Claudius ordered all Jews to leave Rome, so Priscilla and Aquila moved to Corinth. Through this event, God had prepared a meeting between the couple and the evangelist, Paul. As they made tents together, they went into the synagogue on the Sabbath and did the evangelism movement to save the field and future generations.</p><p> </p><p><strong>3. Meeting with disciples</strong></p><p> Priscilla and Aquila took Apollos who was preaching the Word in the synagogue and explained the way of the Lord more accurately to him and commisioned him to Achaia(Acts 18:24~28). Priscilla and Aquila, who later returned to Rome, started a chruch in their home and opened the door to the evangelization of Rome(1 Corinthians 16:19). God allowed the financial blessing of Priscilla and Aquila to help evangelists for the rest of their lives(Romans 16:3~4). God gave Priscilla and Aquila the great answer of Roman evangelization through such meetings.</p><p> </p><p><strong>[Forum Topic]</strong> The greatst blessing in one's life is one's meeting with God, and the greatest blessing of world evangelization is the meeting between evangelist and disciple.
