Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world. Climbers can see Tibet, India, and Napal Nepal frome from the summit.
On May 29th, 1953, Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay were known to the first to conquer this mountain at first. They buried cookies in the snow at the summit. This means respecting the local custom.
There is a "Death zone" around 8,000 meters up Mount Everest. In the zone, climbers can get frostbite on their skin, find it difficult to breathe, and experience fast-blowing winds that can blow climbers off. Even there, some explorers have disappeared. However, many people still attempt to reach the summit.
Today, Sherpas help people to climb the mountain. In 2010, a thirteen-year-old boy succeed to succeeded in climbing to the top. I think he is a brave boy. I want to climb a snow coverd covered mountain.
