경천애인과 홍익인간이라는 한민족의 전통사상이 바탕이 된 통일사상을 통하여 세계를 하나의 통일체제로 이룰 수 있다는 것입니다.

어떻게 통일된 체제를 만드느냐 하는 문제를 생각하게 될 때, 그것은 사상적인 면에 있어서 민주체제와 공산체제를 넘어설 수 있고 그걸 다 소화할 수 있는 다른 하나의 통일적인 사상이 있어야 된다는 것입니다. 그런 이론적 기반 위에서 통일체제를 형성하지 않으면 안 된다는 결론이 나오는 것입니다. 통일체제를 형성하는 데는 이 한국이 하나의 모델입니다. 한국을 중심한 국민연합의 형태를 띤 것이 세계의 동서남북통일연합입니다. 한국이 곧 세계의 모델이 되는 것입니다. 그걸 세계가 따라오면 모든 것이 통일적 세계 체제로 넘어갑니다. (1988.1.3.)어떻게 통일된 체제를 만드느냐 하는 문제를 생각하게 될 때, 그것은 사상적인 면에 있어서 민주체제와 공산체제를 넘어설 수 있고 그걸 다 소화할 수 있는 다른 하나의 통일적인 사상이 있어야 된다는 것입니다. 그런데 통일체제를 형성하는 데는 이 한국이 하나의 모델이라는 것입니다. 경천애인과 홍익인간이라는 한민족의 전통사상이 바탕이 된 통일사상을 통하여 세계를 하나의 통일체제로 이룰 수 있다는 것입니다. 경천애인이란 하늘을 공경하고 인간을 사랑한다는 사상입니다. 홍익인간이란 인간을 넓게 사랑한다는 의미입니다. 즉 인류를 사랑한다는 의미입니다. 이와같이 한민족의 전통사상은 하나님의 부모의 심정으로 인류를 사랑하는 사상입니다. 이 사상이 참부모사상이요, 통일사상입니다. 이 사상을 따라가게 되면 모든 것이 통일적 세계 체제로 넘어가게 된다는 것입니다.いかにして統一された体制をつくるかという問題を考えるときに、思想的な面において、民主体制と共産体制を越え、それらを消化することのできるもう一つの統一的な思想がなければならないのです。そのような理論的基盤の上で、統一体制を形成しなければならないという結論が出てくるのです。統一体制を形成するには、この韓国が一つのモデルとなります。韓国を中心とした国民連合の形態をもっているのが、世界の東西南北統一連合です。すなわち韓国が世界のモデルだということです。世界がそれに従ってくるならば、すべてが統一的世界体制になっていくのです。(1988.1.3.)いかにして統一された体制をつくるかという問題を考えるときに、思想的な面において、民主体制と共産体制を越え、それらを消化することのできるもう一つの統一的な思想がなければならないというのです。ところが、統一的世界を形成するには、この韓国が世界のモデルだというのです。敬天愛人と弘益人間という韓民族の伝統思想に基づいた統一思想を通じて、世界を一つの統一体制にすることができるというのです。敬天愛人とは、天を敬い、人間を愛するという思想です。弘益人間とは人間を広く愛するという意味です。つまり、人類を愛するという意味です。このように韓民族の伝統思想は神様の父母の心情で人類を愛する思想です。この思想が真の父母の思想であり、統一思想です。世界がこの思想に従っていけば、すべてが統一的世界体制になっていくのです。When we consider the issue of unification from a philosophical point of view, there must be a new kind of unified thought that can go beyond the structures of democracy and communism and digest them all. There must be such a logical basis for a unified system in society. Korea will be one model for the creation of such a unified system. A global federation for the unity of north, south, east, and west has taken form in the Citizens’ Federation in Korea. Korea itself is thus a model for the world. If the world follows that model, everything will shift to a global unified system. However, korea will be one model for the creation of such a unified system. The world can be formed into a unified system through unification thought based on the traditional ideas of the Korean people, Gyeongcheonaiin(Respect the heaven and love the human), and Hongik-ingan(Benefit all mankind). Gyeongcheonaiin is the idea of respecting the heaven and loving humans. Hongik-ingan mean that we love humans widely. It means loving humankind. As such, the traditional idea of the Korean people is the idea of loving humankind with the heart of God's parents. This is the idea of true parents, unification thought. If we follow this idea, everything goes to a unified world system.
