프로그레시브라는 생소한 용어를 정착시킨 무디 블루스는 섬세하고 아름
다운 멜로디 라인을 무기로 하는 서정파 프로그레시브 록그룹이다.

'67년 발표한 데뷔 앨범 Days of Future Passed 에 유명한 Nights In
White Satin 이 수록되어 있다. 전체적으로 조형된 오케스트레이션의
화려함과 Moody Blues 의 보컬 겸 키보드, 기타리스트였던 저스틴 헤이
워드의 유려한 보칼이 뽑아내는 멜로디가 아름다운 그룹이다.
