<p>2Ezra16</p><p>[1] Woe to you, Babylon and Asia! Woe to you, Egypt and Syria!</p><p>[2] Gird yourselves with sackcloth and haircloth, and wail for your children, and</p><p>lament for them for your destruction is at hand.</p><p>[3] The sword has been sent upon you, and who is there to turn it back.</p><p>[4] A fire has been sent upon you, and who is there to quench it.</p><p>[5] Calamities have been sent upon you, and who is there to drive them away.</p><p>[6] Can one drive off a hungry lion in the forest, or quench a fire in the stubble</p><p>when once it has begun to burn?</p><p>[7] Can one turn back an arrow shot by a strong archer?</p><p>[8] The Lord God sends calamities, and who will drive them away?</p><p>[9] Fire will go forth from his wrath, and who is there to quench it?</p><p>[10] He will flash lightning, and who will not be afraid? He will thunder, and who will not be terrified?</p><p> </p><p>에스라 2서 16장</p><p>[1] 바빌론과 아시아여, 너희에게 화가 있을지어다! 이집트와 시리아여, 너희에게 화가 있을지어다!</p><p>[2] 굵은 베옷과 털옷을 입고 너희 자녀들을 위하여 통곡하며, 너희의 멸망이 가까이 왔음을 슬퍼하라.</p><p>[3] 칼이 너희에게 보내졌으니 누가 그것을 막아낼 수 있겠느냐?</p><p>[4] 불이 너희에게 보내졌으니 누가 그것을 끌 수 있겠느냐?</p><p>[5] 재앙이 너희에게 보내졌으니 누가 그것을 쫓아낼 수 있겠느냐?</p><p>[6] 숲 속에서 굶주린 사자를 누가 쫓아낼 수 있겠느냐? 밭에 불이 한번 붙으면 누가 끌 수 있겠느냐?</p><p>[7] 활 쏘는 사람이 쏜 화살을 누가 막아낼 수 있겠느냐?</p><p>[8] 주 하나님께서 재앙을 보내시니 누가 그것을 쫓아낼 수 있겠느냐?</p><p>[9] 그의 진노로 불이 나오리니 누가 그것을 끌 수 있겠느냐?</p><p>[10] 그가 번개를 치시면 누가 두려워하지 않겠으며, 그가 천둥을 치시면 누가 두렵지 않겠느냐?</p><p> </p><p>[11] The Lord will threaten, and who will not be utterly shattered at his presence?</p><p>[12] The earth and its foundations quake, the sea is churned up from the depths</p><p>and its waves and the fish also shall be troubled at the presence of the Lord and</p><p>before the glory of his power.</p><p>[13] For his right hand that bends the bow is strong, and his arrows that he</p><p>shoots are sharp and will not miss when they begin to be shot to the ends of the world.</p><p>[14] Behold, calamities are sent forth and shall not return until they come over the earth.</p><p>[15] The fire is kindled, and shall not be put out until it consumes the foundations of the earth.</p><p>[16] Just as an arrow shot by a mighty archer does not return, so the calamities</p><p>that are sent upon the earth shall not return.</p><p>[17] Alas for me! Alas for me! Who will deliver me in those days?</p><p>[18] The beginning of sorrows, when there shall be much lamentation the</p><p>beginning of famine, when many shall perish the beginning of wars, when the</p><p>powers shall be terrified; the beginning of calamities, when all shall tremble. What</p><p>shall they do in these circumstances, when the calamities come?</p><p>[19] Behold, famine and plague, tribulation and anguish are sent as scourges for</p><p>the correction of men.</p><p>[20] Yet for all this they will not turn from their iniquities, nor be always mindful of the scourges.</p><p> </p><p>[11] 여호와께서 위협하시리니, 그분의 임재 앞에서 누가 완전히 무너지지 않겠느냐?</p><p>[12] 땅과 그 기초가 흔들리고, 바다가 깊은 곳에서부터 요동치며, 파도와 물고기도 여호와의 임재 앞에서, 그리고 그분의 권능의 영광 앞에서 소란을 일으키리라.</p><p>[13] 활을 당기시는 그분의 오른손은 강하시고, 그분이 쏘시는 화살은 날카로워 세상 끝까지 쏘아질 것이니, 절대 빗나가지 않으리라.</p><p>[14] 보라, 재앙이 보내지리니, 땅을 덮을 때까지 다시 돌아오지 않으리라.</p><p>[15] 불이 붙으니, 땅의 기초를 태울 때까지 꺼지지 않으리라.</p><p>[16] 용맹한 궁수가 쏜 화살이 돌아오지 않는 것처럼, 땅에 보내지는 재앙도 다시 돌아오지 않으리라.</p><p>[17] 내게 화가 있도다! 내게 화가 있도다! 그 날에 누가 나를 구원하겠느냐?</p><p>[18] 슬픔이 시작되어 많은 통곡이 있을 것이며, 기근이 시작되어 많은 사람이 죽을 것이며, 전쟁이 시작되어 권세들이 두려워 떨 것이며, 재앙이 시작되어 모든 사람이 떨 것이다. 이러한 재앙이 닥칠 때 그들은 무엇을 하겠느냐?</p><p>[19] 보라, 기근과 역병, 환난과 고통이 사람들을 징계하기 위한 채찍으로 보내졌다.</p><p>[20] 그러나 그들은 이 모든 일에도 불구하고 자기들의 죄악에서 돌아서지 않고, 그 채찍을 항상 기억하지도 않을 것이다.</p>
