2. 국제과학통일회의 - 2 

우리는 21세기 문명의 이기를 누리고 살고 있지만 지금까지 문명은 하늘부모님의 사정과 심정을 알고 인류가 하나 되어 살도록 하기보다는 반대로 파괴적인 면에 더 박차를 가해 왔다고 해도 틀린 말은 아닐 것입니다.

모든 문명사와 전쟁사를 놓고 볼 때 고도로 발달한 과학 문명은 하나님이 본래 창조하신 지구성을 더 풍요롭게 하고 건강하게 하는 것과는 거리가 먼, 파괴적이요 희망이 없는 전쟁 무기를 만들고 핵 개발을 하는 데 쓰인 것입니다.

남한에 원자로가 몇 개나 있는지 알아요? 원자로가 우리에게 에너지를 공급해 주고 있지만, 그것이 잘못될 때는 어떻게 되겠어요? 옛날 일본 히로시마에 핵폭탄이 터졌을 때의 상황을 여러분은 들어서 알고 있을 것입니다.

러시아에서도 원자로가 잘못돼서 피해를 당했던 것입니다. 이러한 위험한 원전을 많이 갖고 있는 나라가 대한민국입니다. 얼마 전에 경주에서 지진이 일어났었습니다. 그 근처에 원자로가 있습니다. 그런데 앞으로 몇 개의 원자로를 더 세운다는 것입니다.

본래 하나님께서 창조한 에너지를 인간이 이로운 방향으로 연구·개발했어야 합니다. 에너지를 파괴적으로 연구개발한 것이 오늘날의 핵무기입니다. 이것을 소화 못하게 되면 지구의 미래, 인간의 미래는 없습니다.

그동안 참아버님께서는 국제과학 통일 회의를 통해 많은 지식인을 하나로 묶어서 교육해 나오셨습니다. 그 와중에 공산주의 종언을 선포하시고 그 결과를 이루어 내셨습니다.

강대국이라는 미국도 그 일을 생각하지 못하고 공산주의의 위협에 처해 있을 때 아버님께서는 어느 누구의 도움 없이 그 일을 해내셨습니다. 그러나 섭리의 중심 국가로 길러 나왔던 이 나라가 미국이 오늘날 혼돈 가운데 있습니다.

다시 한번 인류에게 절망이 아닌 희망을 줄 수 있는 그런 일을 나와 여러분이 해야 한다는 것입니다. 2017년부터는 잘못된 과학의 문명발달로 인해서 지구나 인간이 피해를 보고 있는 것을 치유할 수 있는 방향으로 연구하는 것에 박차를 가하려고 합니다. (2016.9.25, 천주청평수련원)

2. 国際科学統一会議 - 2 

私たちは21世紀の文明の利器を享受して暮らしていますが、今まで文明は、天の父母様の事情と心情を知り、人類が一つとなって生きるためというよりは、逆に破壊的な面に、より一層の拍車を加えてきたと言っても間違いではないでしょう。

すべての文明史と戦争史を見ると、高度に発達した科学文明は、神様が本来創造なさった地球という星をより豊かにし健康にすることとはかけ離れた、破壊的で希望のない戦争武器を作り、核開発をすることに使われました。

韓国に原子炉がいくつあるか知っていますか。原子炉は私たちのもとにエネルギーを供給してくれていますが、それが誤った場合にはどうなるでしょうか。昔、日本の広島に原爆が落とされた時の状況を皆さんは聞いて知っていることでしょう。

ロシアでも原子炉の事故による被害に遭いました。そのような危険な原発をたくさんもっている国が大韓民国です。この前、慶州で地震が起きました。その近くに原子炉があります。それなのに今後さらに数基の原子炉を建てるというのです。

本来、神様が創造したエネルギーを人は有益な方向に研究開発しなければなりませんでした。エネルギーを破壊的に研究開発したのが今日の核兵器です。これを消化できないとなると、地球の未来、人間の未来はありません。これまで真のお父様は「科学の統一に関する国際会議」を通じて多くの知識人を一つにまとめて教育してこられました。

その中で「共産主義の終焉」を宣布なさり、その結果を打ち立てられました。強大国のアメリカもそのようなことは考えることもできず、共産主義の危険に処していた時に、お父様は誰の助けも借りずにそれをやり遂げました。しかし、摂理の中心国家として育ててきた韓国やアメリカが、今日混沌の中にあります。

再度、人類に絶望ではなく希望を与えることのできる、そのようなことを私と皆さんがしなければならないのです。2017年からは誤った科学文明の発達によって地球や人類が被っている被害を治癒し得る方向へと研究していくことに拍車をかけようと思います。（2016.9.25、天宙清平修錬苑）

Though we are enjoying the conveniences of twenty-first century civilization, to say that civilization until now spurred development based on a destructive perspective instead of understanding God's circumstances and heart, and bringing all people to live together, would not be wrong.

When we look at the history of civilization and the history of warfare—far from making the world that God originally created, a world of abundance and health—our highly developed civilization has utilized its scientific knowledge for producing destructive weapons of war and pushing for nuclear development. 
 
Do you know how many nuclear reactors there are in South Korea? Though these reactors provide us with energy, what will happen if something goes wrong with them? You have probably heard of and are familiar with the dropping of a nuclear bomb on Hiroshima, Japan during World War II.

A nuclear reactor in Ukraine also went wrong and caused extensive damage. Korea is a nation that possesses many such dangerous nuclear reactors. Recently, an earthquake hit Gyeongju. There is a nuclear reactor in the vicinity, and I have heard there are still plans to construct more in the future.
 
Originally, human beings were supposed to research and develop the energy created by God in a beneficial direction. Today's nuclear weapons are the result of researching and developing energy in a destructive direction.

If we cannot resolve this, there is no future for the world, no future for the human race. True Father brought together and educated many intellectuals through the International Conference on the Unity of the Sciences. In the midst of this, he proclaimed the end of Communism and was able to actualize that result.

When the United States, a world power, could not imagine such a thing while facing the threat of Communism, True Father was able to do it without anyone's help. Yet, this nation—the United States, which was raised as the central nation of the providence—lives in the midst of chaos today.

Once again, for you and me, our task is to give the world not despair, but hope! That is why from next year, I will stimulate research to take a direction that can heal the damage inflicted on the Earth and on its inhabitants by the misguided developments of scientific civilization.
