참부모경 - 465. 해양사업에 대한 참부모님의 비전

참부모님의 해양에 대한 관심은 한반도뿐만 아니라 알래스카와 하와이를 넘어 전 세계를 대상으로 한다. 그리고 해양을 미래 인류 생활의 중심지역이며 인류의 식량문제를 해결할 수 있는 곳으로 보고 해양사업에 많은 관심을 가지셨다. 특히 인류의 미래 생활공간은 바닷속으로도 확대될 것으로 보셨다. 그래서 해양호텔, 수중주택, 어장빌딩 등 해양시대에 대비한 여러 구상을 말씀하셨다. 또한 북극원 개발도 필요하다고 보고 북극지방에 문화도시를 건설하는 방안도 제시하셨다. 참부모님께서는 하나님을 중심한 해양관광산업과 취미산업을 구상하고 추진하셨다.
 
1 앞으로 육지는 사람으로 꽉 차기 때문에 배를 타고 바다로 나가야 합니다. 바다에서 사는 시대가 불원한 장래에 올 것입니다. 우리가 바다에서 무엇을 해야 되느냐? 세계의 해양기지만 확보하게 되면 세계의 모든 문화를 마음대로 할 수 있고 세계의 해안을 점령할 수 있는 것입니다.
 
2 바다는 무한한 세계입니다. 물세계는 무한한 세계입니다. 그 세계에는 사람들에게 필요한 고차원의 영양을 가진 물고기가 있습니다. 그래서 물고기를 양식하고 판매하는 시장도 줄어들지 않을 것입니다. 앞으로 해양산업시대가 온다고 보기 때문에 아버님이 지금까지 많은 일을 했습니다. 많은 말씀도 했고 거기에 대비해 많은 준비를 했습니다. 이것을 세계로 확장해야 될 때가 되었습니다.
 
3 해양에는 물고기를 비롯해 무진장한 자원이 있습니다. 미국은 알래스카의 고기를 가공해서 팔기를 원하는데 팔 곳이 없습니다. 반면에 일본 사람들은 고기를 원하는데 고기가 없다는 것입니다. 그러니 미국 고기를 잡아서 일본에 파는 것입니다. 일본은 미국의 고기가 필요하고 미국은 일본 기술이 필요하니 서로 합작해서 투자하자는 것입니다. 그래서 우리는 미국 사람과 일본 사람을 결혼시켜서 미국과 일본에 배치하는 것입니다. 합작으로 투자할 때 미국에서는 미국 남편이 사장이 되고 아내가 부사장이 됩니다. 그리고 일본에 가게 된다면 부사장 하던 아내가 사장이 되고 미국인 남편이 부사장을 하는 것입니다. 그러면 합작투자는 그냥 그대로 됩니다. 매우 편리합니다. 그렇게 하면 누가 와서 싸움을 못합니다. 누가 타고 들어와서 해먹겠다고 할 수 없다는 것입니다.
 
4 수산자원은 무한합니다. 일반 자원, 원자재는 제한되어 있습니다. 고기는 본래 먹이사슬로 되어 있기 때문에 조그만 고기들은 큰 고기들에게 잡아먹힙니다. 한 마리가 알을 낳으면 많게는 50만 개 이상을 낳습니다. 이 알이 자연상태에서 부화하게 되면 잡아먹혀서 1퍼센트도 살아남지 못합니다. 그런데 그것을 인공적으로 백 퍼센트 부화시켜 관리하게 되면 어떻게 되겠습니까? 먹이는 풀을 가루로 만들어 뿌려서 먹게 하는 것입니다. 그렇게 고기를 잡아먹지 않게 해서 원자재를 무한히 보장할 수 있습니다. 바다에 그런 것이 많으면 양식하는 것입니다. 땅에서 고기를 기르면 한 집의 살림살이는 간단합니다. 200편이면 한 집이 먹고살 수 있습니다. 고기를 많이 기르면 식량이 됩니다. 고기에 영양이 많습니다. 단백질이 풍부하다는 것입니다.
 
5 금후에 육지의 자원을 필요로 하는 때는 지나갑니다. 수중자원을 누가 세계적으로 관리하느냐, 그런 기술을 누가 갖느냐 하는 문제가 앞으로 중요합니다. 해양세계를 누가 지배하느냐에 따라서 앞으로 세계를 지배할 수 있는 새로운 시대가 옵니다. 무한한 원료의 근본지가 바다입니다. 그렇기 때문에 앞으로 바닷고기를 잡아먹는 시대는 지나갑니다. 바다 양식을 해야 됩니다.
 
6 지구의 3분의 2가 바다입니다. 앞으로 땅 위에서 먹을 것이 없어지는 날에는 사람들은 바다에서 무엇을 잡아먹든가 해야 됩니다. 바다를 중심삼고 살길을 해결할 수 있는 방안을 모색하지 않으면 안 됩니다. 내가 1973년부터 배를 산 것은 앞으로 수산사업을 위해서였습니다. 그러면서 미국의 뉴욕이라든가 보스턴이라든가 동부의 어장이 어떻다는 것을 대개 조사했고, 사업계획이 어떻고 앞으로 해운산업의 법규가 어떻게 되겠는가 하는 것을 조사했습니다.
 
7 앞으로 해양세계를 누가 점령하느냐가 문제입니다. 바다는 무한합니다. 그런 바다를 점령하고 모험할 줄 아는 사람이 되어야 합니다. 이제 옷을 맞춰 입고 산소통만 지고 다니면 한 달 동안 아무것이 없어도 살 수 있는 시대로 들어간다는 것입니다.
 
8 사람은 누구나 좋은 데서 살고 싶어합니다. 그래서 내가 지금 잠수정을 연구하고 있습니다. 어디가 제일 멋진 장소입니까? 아파트가 좋은 것이 아닙니다. 바다 한가운데 깊숙이 들어가서 사는 것입니다. 거기에서 어떻게 삽니까? 그때 필요한 것이 잠수정입니다. 단추만 누르면 시원한 데로 내려갑니다. 에어컨이 필요 없습니다. 거기에서는 별의별 고기가 다채로운 춤동작을 하고 천천만만 색의 아름다운 광경이 펼쳐집니다. 거기에서는 막힘이 없습니다. 밤낮으로 어디든 갈 수 있습니다. 그러면서 사는 것이 얼마나 편하겠습니까? 영계에 가기 전에 그런 데서 한번 살고 싶습니다. 나 한 사람을 위해서 하는 것이 아니라 전체를 위해서 하는 것입니다. 그래서 연구도 하고 있습니다.
 
9 이제는 사람이 사는 빌딩보다 어장빌딩을 만들게 되면 부자 중에 그런 부자가 없을 것입니다. 그런 시대가 오는 것입니다. 앞으로는 도시도 분산화해야 됩니다. 도시에서 살면 인분이나 소변을 처리하는 것이 큰 문제입니다. 자연에서 살게 되면 아무 곳에서나 그것이 거름이 되지만 너무 많으면 문제가 됩니다. 소변도 거름이고 인분도 거름입니다. 그러니까 도시 분산화를 위해서 어디든지 자체 처리할 수 있게끔 해서 분산해야 됩니다. 그러면 사람들은 자연히 산악지대로 찾아가게 됩니다. 그다음에는 산악지대에만 있으면 사는 것이 지루하니까 바다로 가서 사는 것입니다. 앞으로는 바닷속에 들어가서 살아야 됩니다. 내가 학자들을 통해서 그런 잠수정을 연구하게 하고 있습니다. 바다 30미터 아래로 들어가면 태풍이 불어도 고요합니다. 아무리 바람이 불고 풍랑이 일어도 30미터 아래로 들어가면 풍랑이 없습니다. 그러니까 30미터 이하, 100미터 이하라는 버튼만 누르면 자동으로 거기에 들어가서 반사경으로 바다 풍경을 보면서 살 수 있는 것입니다. 수중에서도 양식을 할 수 있습니다. 자기가 먹을 때 필요한 것만 달고 다니면 됩니다. 어디에는 어느 급의 고기들이 잘사니 거기에서 한 달 살고, 한 10미터쯤 올라와서는 어느급의 고기가 잘사니 거기에서 한 달 살고, 이렇게 여기저기로 옮겨 다니면서 살 수 있습니다. 이런 것도 생각하고 있습니다. 그렇게 수중생활시대를 개척하는 것입니다.
 
10 내가 계획하고 있는 것이 북극 개발입니다. 만년설 땅 밑창에 만년도시를 만들 것입니다. 그곳에 문화도시를 만들면 지구에 있는 사람이라면 한 번씩은 올 것입니다. 대학교 같은 것도 지하에 3분의 1을 세우는 것입니다. 그렇게 지으면 난방장치가 필요 없기 때문입니다. 여름에는 시원하고 겨울에는 춥지 않습니다. 그러면 연료를 안 때더라도 학생이 몇 십 명만 들어가면 자연히 열이 나게 됩니다. 사람 몸의 열이 37도입니다. 보통 10도만 되면 되는데, 37도니까 몇 명만 지하에 있으면 열이 분산되는 것입니다. 학생이 들어가게 되면 대번에 전체가 훈훈해진다는 것입니다. 그런 시대가 되어 오는 것입니다. 그렇게 되면 경제적으로 모든 것이 현대문명에 보조를 맞출 수 있는 생활 형태를 찾아 나가게 됩니다. 우리가 그런 최고의 이상적인 세계를 향하여 체제 혁신을 다짐해야 될 때가 되었다는 것입니다.
 
11 아버님은 현재와 같은 수산사업시대는 지나간다고 보고 있습니다. 앞으로는 양식을 하고, 수산사업에 종사하더라도 관광과 취미를 겸하지 않고는 일생을 걸고 이 사업에 종사하기가 힘들다는 것을 알았습니다. 모든 일은 돈과 원자재가 있어야 되지만 반드시 인맥, 사람을 길러야 합니다. 사람이 없어서는 안 되는 것입니다. 수산사업을 자기 천직으로 생각할 수 있는 사람을 어떻게 만들어 내느냐 하는 것이 문제입니다. 청년시대·장년시대·노년시대도 바다가 좋고, 자기가 죽으면 아들딸 손자손녀들에게도 바다를 사랑하라고 가르쳐 줄 수 있는 사람이 필요합니다.
 
12 장래에는 레저산업이 상당히 발달할 것입니다. 왜냐하면 사람들이 도시생활을 하기 때문에 스트레스가 많이 쌓이는데 그것을 해소하기 위해서는 자극적인 운동이 필요하기 때문입니다. 무엇으로 이 스트레스를 푸느냐? 아버님은 세 가지로 봅니다. 하나는 사냥, 하나는 승마, 그리고 낚시입니다. 사냥이나 승마를 하는 데에는 많은 제약이 있습니다. 승마는 돈이 많이 들어가기 때문에 특정 계층만이 할 수 있습니다. 아무나 못한다는 것입니다. 또 사냥도 40세 전후까지만 할 수 있지 50세만 넘어도 힘들어서 못하는 것입니다. 특정 계층만이 할 수 있습니다. 그러나 낚시는 소년시대부터 늙어 죽을 때까지 할 수 있습니다. 그렇기 때문에 앞으로 낚시사업은 세계적인 사업이 될 것이라고 보는 것입니다.
 
13 취미산업은 취미를 목표로 합니다. ‘돈 있는 사람이나 하지 돈 없는 사람은 어떻게 하느냐?’라고 하겠지만 아닙니다. 지금도 다들 휴가를 갑니다. 그러니 1년에 한 번이고 두 번이고 그것을 할 수 있습니다. 앞으로 그것에 대한 세계적인 조직을 만들어서 선취권을 쥐는 것이 세계의 금융계를 비롯해 모든 분야를 평화세계로 이끌어갈 수 있는 하나의 지름길이라고 생각하는 것입니다. 그래서 바다에 대해 수십년 동안 계획해서 지금까지 해양산업의 모든 것을 개척해 나온 것입니다.
 
14 앞으로는 바다에서의 취미산업과 더불어 농사도 취미농사를 해야 되겠다고 생각합니다. 앞으로 사람들이 노는 시간이 많아진다면 노는 것도 걱정이 됩니다. 그러니까 정원 같은 데에 한 200평 정도 공간을 만들어서 취미농업을 해서 먹고살 수 있게끔 인도하는 것입니다. 사슴 같은 짐승도 길러서 놓아주고, 물고기도 길러서 놓아주고, 그다음에는 곡식도 자연에 인공을 대입해서 기르는 것입니다. 그것이 얼마나 멋집니까? 하나님이 창조한 모든 것은 무엇이든지 재생시켜서 그것을 바라보면서 하나님을 생각하고, 자연과 조화를 이뤄 모든 면에서 서로서로 돕고 살면서 취미를 가지고 살다가 영계에 가는 것입니다. 그렇게 함으로써 도시집중의 사회를 분산시킬 수 있습니다.
 
15 앞으로는 어떤 시대가 되느냐? 태평양 바다 가운데 쇠기둥을 박고 호텔도 만드는 것입니다. 헬리콥터의 기능이 얼마나 다양합니까? 버튼만 누르면 마음대로 날아다닐 수 있습니다. 세 시간쯤 날아가는 것도 지루합니다. 한 두어 시간씩 가다가 해상호텔에 가서 자기도 하는 것입니다. 얼마나 좋습니까? 그럴 수 있게 태평양에 호텔을 짓는 것입니다. 그렇게 되면 두 시간이나 세 시간쯤 가서 점심을 먹고, 가족들과 배를 타고 낚시도 하는 것입니다.
 
16 이제부터 소형 비행기시대가 오고 자동차시대는 지나갈 것입니다. 경치가 좋은 데는 큰 도시가 아닌 깊은 산중에 있기 때문에 거기로 날아가서 개인 풀장을 만들고 낚시터를 만들어 수영도 하고 낚시도 하는 것입니다. 비행기는 얼마든지 빌릴 수 있습니다. 비행기를 빌려서도 사업을 할 수 있는 시대에 들어왔기 때문에 아버님은 비행기회사를 만들고 있습니다. 항공모함, 해군 함정 같은 큰 배에 잠수정 몇 십 척, 소형 헬리콥터 몇 십 대를 싣고 가는 것입니다. 배는 천천히 가기 때문에 배에 실려있는 헬리콥터를 이용해 먼저 이동해서 낚시를 하다가 배로 돌아오고, 또 작은 배로 먼저 섬 같은 곳에 건너가서 있다가 다시 돌아올 수 있는 시대가 온다는 것입니다. 한 배에서도 갈 길을 알면 일주일 먼저 갈 수 있습니다. 우리 비행기로 가는 것입니다. 돈이 있는 사람은 배를 타고 무슨 일이든 하는 것입니다. 컴퓨터가 있기 때문에 배 안에서 사무를 볼 수 있고 여행하면서도 일하고 살 수 있는 시대가 오는 것입니다.

真の父母経 - 465. 海洋事業に対する真の父母様のビジョン

真の父母様の海洋に対する関心は、韓半島だけでなく、アラスカとハワイを越えて全世 界を対象にしている。そして、海洋を未来の人類の生活の中心地域として、また、人類の食糧問題を解決できる場所として考えられ、海洋事業に多くの関心をも たれたのである。特に、人類の未来の生活空間は海の中にも拡大されると考えられた。そのため、海洋ホテル、水中住宅、漁場ビルなど、海洋時代に備えた多く の構想を語られた。また、北極開発も必要であると考えられ、北極地方に文化都市を建設する方案も提示された。真の父母様は、神様を中心とした海洋観光産業 と趣味産業を構想し、推進されたのである。
 
1 今後、陸地は人でいっぱいになるので、船に乗って海に出なければなりません。海で暮らす時代が、遠くない将来に訪れるでしょう。私たちは、海で何をしなけ ればならないのでしょうか。世界の海洋基地さえ確保するようになれば、世界のすべての文化を思いどおりに(楽しむことが)でき、世界の海岸を活用できるの です。
 
2 海は無限の世界です。水の世界は、無限の世界です。水がない所はありません。その世界には、人々に必要な高次元の栄養をもった魚がいます。ですから、魚を 養殖して販売する市場も縮小することはないでしょう。今後、海洋産業時代が来ると考えているので、お父様は今まで多くのことをしました。多くのみ言も語 り、それに備えて多くの準備をしました。これを、世界に拡張すべき時になったのです。
 
3 海洋には、魚をはじめ、無尽蔵な資源があります。アメリカは、アラスカの魚を加工して売ることを願うのですが、売る所がありません。反面、日本の人たちは 魚を手に入れたいと思うのですが、魚がいないというのです。ですから、アメリカの魚を獲って、日本に売るのです。日本はアメリカの魚が必要であり、アメリ カは日本の技術が必要なので、互いに力を合わせて投資しようというのです。ですから、私たちはアメリカ人と日本人が結婚して、アメリカと日本で活躍できる ようにするのです。
力を合わせて投資する際、アメリカではアメリカ人の夫が社長になって、妻が副社長になります。そして、日本に行とすれば、副社長をしていた妻が社長 になって、アメリカ人の夫が副社長になるのです。そうすれば、合弁投資は、そのままできるのです。非常に便利です。そのようにすれば、誰かが来て争うこと はできません。乗り込んできて、横取りしようとすることはできないというのです。
 
4 水産資源は無限です。一般の資源、原材料は制限されています。魚は本来、食物連鎖になっているので、小さな魚は大きな魚に食べられます。一匹が卵を産め ば、多くて五十万個以上産むのです。この卵が自然状態で孵化すれば、食べられて一パーセントも生き残れません。しかし、それを人工的に一〇〇パーセント孵 化させて管理すれば、どうなるでしょうか。
餌は、草を粉にしてまき、食べさせるのです。そのように魚を捕食させないようにすれば、資源を無限に保障することができます。海にそのようなものが たくさんあれば、養殖をするのです。陸地で魚を育てれば、一家の生活は簡単です。二百坪あれば、一つの家庭が食べて暮らせます。魚をたくさん育てれば食糧 になるのです。魚には、栄養がたくさんあります。タンパク質が豊富だというのです。
 
5 今後、陸地の資源を必要とする時代は過ぎ去ります。水中資源を誰が世界的に管理するか、そのような技術を誰がもつかという問題が、これから重要です。海洋 世界を誰が支配するかによって、今後、世界を支配できる新しい時代が来ます。無限にある原料の根本の地が海です。ですから、これから海の魚を獲って食べる 時代は過ぎ去ります。海洋養殖をしなければならないのです。
 
6 地球の三分の二が海です。今後、食べる物が地上からなくなれば、人々は海で何かを獲って食べなければなりません。海を中心として、生きる道を解決できる方案を模索しなければなりません。
私が一九七三年から船を買ったのは、今後、水産事業を興すためでした。そのようにしながら、アメリカのニューヨークやボストンなど、東部の漁場がど のようになっているかをほぼ調査し、事業計画はどのようになっていて、これから海運産業の法規がどのようになるかを調査したのです。
 
7 これから、海洋世界を誰が占領するかが問題です。海は無限です。そのような海を占領し、冒険できる人にならなければなりません。今や、服を合わせて着て、 酸素ボンべだけ背負えば、一ヵ月間、何もなくても生きていける時代に入るというのです。
 
8 人は誰もが、良い所で暮らしたいと思います。ですから、私は今、潜水艇を研究しているのです。どこが一番素晴らしい場所でしょうか。マンションが良いので はありません。海の真ん中の深い所に入っていって暮らすのです。そこで、どのように暮らすのでしょうか。
その時、必要なのが潜水艇です。ボタンさえ押せば、涼しい所に降りていきます。エアコンは必要ありません。そこでは、ありとあらゆる魚が多彩な泳ぎ をし、数限りない様々な色をした美しい光景が広がります。そこには塞がった所がありません。昼も夜も、どこにでも行くことができます。そのようにしながら 暮らすのは、どれほど安らかでしょうか。霊界に行く前に、そのような所で一度暮らしたいと思うのです。私一人のためにするのではなく、全体のためにするの です。ですから、研究もしています。
 
9 今から人が暮らすビルではなく、漁場ビルを造るようになれば、お金持ちの中でも最高のお金持ちになるでしょう。そのような時代が来るのです。これからは都 市も分散化しなければなりません。都市で暮らせば、人糞や小便をどう処理するかが大きな問題です。自然の中で暮らすようになれば、どこでもそれが肥料にな りますが、あまりにも多ければ問題になるのです。小便も肥料であり、人糞も肥料です。ですから、都市の分散化のために、どこであろうと、その場で処理でき るようにして、分散させなければなりません。そのようにすれば、人々は自然に山岳地帯を訪ねていくようになります。
その次に、山岳地帯にだけいれば、暮らしが退屈になるので、海に行って暮らすのです。これからは海の中に入って暮らさなければなりません。私が学者 たちを通して、そのような潜水艇を研究させています。海面から三十メートル下に潜れば、台風が吹いても静かです。いくら風が吹いても、波が起きても、三十 メール下に行けば、風浪はありません。ですから、三十メートル下、百メートル下というボタンさえ押せば、自動的にそこに潜って、反射鏡で海の風景を見なが ら暮らせるのです。
水中でも養殖をすることができます。自分が食べるときに必要なものだけをぶら下げていけばいいのです。どこどこにはどの種類の魚が生息しているの で、そこで一ヵ月暮らし、約十メートル上がれば、どの種類の魚が生息しているから、そこで一ヵ月暮らすというように、あちこち移動して回りながら暮らせる のです。このようなことも考えています。そのように、水中生活時代を開拓するのです。
 
10 私が計画しているのは北極開発です。万年雪の地面の下に、万年都市を造るつもりです。そこに文化都市を造れば、地球にいる人なら、一度は来るでしょう。大学のようなものも、三分の一を地下に建てるのです。
そのようにすれば、暖房装置が必要ないからです。夏は涼しく、冬は寒くありません。そうすれば燃料を焚かなくても、学生が何十人かだけ入れば、自然 に熱が出るのです。人体の熱は約三七度です。普通は一〇度あればよいのですが、三七度なので、何人かだけ地下にいれば、熱が分散されるのです。学生が入れ ば、一気に全体がぽかぽかするというのです。そのような時代に入ります。
そのようになれば、すべてのものが、現代文明に歩調を合わせることができる経済的な生活形態を求めていくようになります。私たちがそのような最高の理想的な世界に向かって、体制の革新を決意しなければならない時になったというのです。
 
11 お父様は、現在のような水産事業時代は過ぎ去ると考えています。これからは養殖をして、水産事業に従事するとしても、観光と趣味を兼ねなければ、一生を懸 けてこの事業に従事するのは難しいことが分かりました。すべてのことには、お金と資源がなければなりませんが、必ず人材として人を育てなければなりませ ん。人がいなければならないのです。水産事業を自分の天職と考えることのできる人を、どのように育て上げるかが問題です。青年時代、壮年時代、老年時代も 海が好きで、自分が死ぬ時には、息子、娘、孫たちにも、「海を愛しなさい」と教えることができる人が必要です。
 
12 将来は、レジャー産業が相当に発達するでしょう。なぜなら、人々が都市生活をするのでストレスがたくさん溜まり、それを解消するためには、刺激的な運動が 必要になるからです。何によってこのストレスを解消するのでしょうか。お父様は三つあると考えています。一つは狩り、一つは乗馬、そして、釣りです。
狩りや乗馬をするには、多くの制約があります。乗馬はお金がたくさんかかるので、特定の階層だけがすることができます。誰もができるものではありま せん。また、狩りも四十歳前後までならできるのですが、五十歳を越えると大変でできません。特定の階層だけができるのです。しかし、釣りは少年時代から老 いて死ぬ時まですることができます。ですから、これから釣り事業は、世界的な事業になるだろうと考えているのです。
 
13 趣味産業は趣味を目標とします。「お金のある人がするのであって、お金のない人は、どのようにしてするのか」と言うかもしれませんが、それは違います。今 もみな、バカンスに行きます。ですから、一年に一回でも二回でも、それをすることができるのです。
これから、それに対する世界的な組織をつくって主導権を握ることが、世界の金融界をはじめ、すべての分野を平和世界に導いていく一つの近道だと思うのです。それで、海に対して数十年間計画し、今まで海洋産業のすべてのことを開拓してきたのです。
 
14 これからは、海における趣味産業とともに、農業も趣味農業をしなければならないと思うのです。今後、人々は、遊べる時間が多くなれば、遊ぶことも心配にな ります。ですから、庭園のような所に約二百坪ほどの空間を造り、趣味農業をして生活できるようにリードするのです。鹿のような動物も育てて放し、魚も育て て放し、その次に穀物も、自然に人工の物を代わりに入れて育てるのです。それはどれほど素晴らしいでしょうか。

15 今後は、どのような時代になるでしょうか。太平洋の海の中に鉄の柱を打ち込んで、ホテルも造るのです。ヘリコプターの機能がどれほど多様でしょうか。ボタンさえ押せば、思いどおりに飛び回ることができるのです。
三時間以上飛び続けると、飽きてしまうこともあります。ですから、二時間くらい飛んで海上ホテルに行き、眠ったりもするのです。どれほど良いでしょ うか。そのようなことができるように、太平洋にホテルを造るのです。そのようになれば、二時間や三時間ほど行って昼食を食べ、家族たちと船に乗って釣りも するのです。
 
16 これから小型飛行機時代が来て、自動車時代は過ぎ去るでしょう。景色が良い所は、大きな都市ではなく深い山中にあるので、そこに飛んでいき、個人のプール と釣り場を造って、水泳もし、釣りもするのです。飛行機はいくらでも借りることができます。飛行機を借りても事業ができる時代に入ったので、お父様は飛行 機会社を造っているのです。

True Fathers interest in the ocean was not limited to the Korean Peninsula; it encompassed the entire world, notably Alaska and Hawaii. His great interest in the ocean, especially the seafood industry, stemmed from his belief that the ocean will be key to solving the world s food shortage in the future.

True Father even foresaw that human living space in the future will expand to undersea habitats. He talked about plans for the future that anticipated a maritime age: construction of a marine hotel, underwater houses and fisheries. He also mentioned the need to develop the North Pole and proposed constructing a cultural city in the Arctic. As a start toward this, True Father promoted a God-centered ocean tourism and leisure industry, especially for people who enjoy fishing.


1 In the future the land will be too crowded; so people, in the not-too-dis-tant future, will have to live on the ocean in boats. What should we do in light of this? We will secure a worldwide foundation in the maritime industry, and once we do, we will be able to lead all the cultures of the world by expanding our reach on the coastlines of the world. 2 The ocean is a vast world. The world of water is virtually infinite. There is no place without water. It is filled with fish that have highly potent nutrients essential for human health. That means that the fish farming industry is certain to increase. Much of what I have been doing is because I believe the era of the ocean is coming. I have spoken extensively about this, and I am making many preparations for this coming era. The time has come to expand all this work throughout the world. (460-113, 2004/07/15)


3 The ocean is teeming with fish and other seafood. America wants to sell the fish that Alaska processes, but it has nowhere to sell it. The Japanese people want fish, but they do not have enough. So I am catching fish in America and selling it in Japan. Japan needs Americas fish and America needs Japanese technology, so I am proposing that they start a joint venture. That is why I am calling American-Japanese couples that I have blessed and am assigning them to fish-related businesses in America or Japan.

If one of these couples runs a joint venture, in America the American husband can be the company president and his wife the vice-president. When they go to Japan, the wife will be the company president and the American husband the vice-president. If they do this, their joint venture will go well. It is very practical. Since each will know the culture and situation of their countries, no one will be able to pick a fight with them. No one will be able to sneak behind their backs to take over the company. 4 The ocean s fish and seafood are an unlimited resource. Food resources on land are limited. Fish were created to form a food chain in which smaller fish are eaten by larger fish. When a fish spawns, it produces as many as 500,000 eggs. When these eggs hatch in nature, only one percent survive and the rest are eaten. But what if we can artificially incubate 100 percent of these eggs and raise all their hatchlings? We can feed them with dried, pulverized seaweed that we sprinkle on the water. By preventing them from being eaten, we can secure an unlimited supply of these fish.

To create such a great supply of fish, we have to farm them. Until now people have only done conventional farming on land, but in the future people will operate fish farms instead. Even with a small farm of one-sixth of an acre, a household can generate a good income for itself. Fish are excellent for food, filled with protein and other nutrients. (294-175, 1998/06/14)


5 The time when people require resources only from the land is passing. We will require resources from the oceans as well. Who will manage these resources? Who will develop the technology to do that? These are key issues for the future. A new age is approaching when people who rule the ocean will lead the world. The ocean's seafood is the basic source for our unlimited nutrition. To realize this, the era of catching fish will pass, to be replaced by the era in which people farm fish. (126-202, 1983/04/19)


6 Two-thirds of the earth is covered by ocean. In the future, when the land can no longer supply people with enough food, we will have to depend on the ocean for food. We must explore ways to survive from the food resources of the ocean. Beginning in 1973 I began to purchase and build boats in anticipation of the fishing industry in the future. I investigated the fishing grounds off the east coast of the US near New York and Boston and developed my business plans. I even studied how the US regulations on the fishing industry will likely change in the future. (088-179, 1976/08/10)


7 Who will be the future masters of the ocean world? The question is how can you become those people. The ocean is unlimited. You need to become people who know how to venture into the ocean and tame it. We are now entering an age when, if you have the right equipment and enough oxygen tanks, you can live for one month at a time underwater. (189-294, 1989/06/17)


8 Everyone has a desire to live in a nice place. So, I am studying submarines. Where do you think is the most splendid place to live? Living in an apartment in a crowded tower block is one thing. It would be far better to live in a house deep in the sea. Yet how is it possible to live in such a place? For that, we would need a submarine house. Think about it: At the push of a button we will descend to a cool place where we will not need air conditioning. In the water world, outside our window, we will be greeted by a beautiful spectacle brimming with all kinds of colors, where all kinds of fish are dancing in delightful and exciting ways. In our submarine house we can go anywhere, with nothing blocking our way. We can go anywhere night and day.

How convenient it would be to live that way! I would love to live in such a place before going to the spirit world. Yet I am not pursuing this dream for my individual pleasure; rather I am doing this research for the whole. (217-212, 1991/06/01)


9 The time will come when it will be more profitable to construct buildings for fish farming than buildings for people. The developers who build them will become the richest people in the world. In the future, the populations of the cities will have to be dispersed. When people live in the cities, getting rid of human excrement and urine is always a serious problem. When you live in nature, everywhere you go your excrement becomes fertilizer; both urine and excrement can become fertilizer.

To deal with this problem in cities, populations of crowded cities must be redistributed in such a way that each city, wherever it is located, can handle its own human waste. When that happens, people will naturally seek out mountainous regions. But if they stay only in those places, they will soon get bored. Then they will go to live in the ocean.

The time is coming when we must go into the ocean and live underwater. For this, I am currently having scholars research the idea of submarine houses. Even when a typhoon is blowing, 30 meters below the ocean's surface the waters are calm. No matter how much the wind blows or the waves heave in the storm, there is no storm 30 meters under the surface. There will come a time when we can press a button, say for 30 meters below or 100 meters below, and our submarine house will automatically descend to that depth. There we will be able to live underwater while enjoying the view of the ocean, with mirrors to give you views in all directions.

Even under the ocean you can farm fish. You only need to take the necessary equipment for cultivating your favorite kinds aboard your submarine house. Because you know where the fish's habitat is, you only need to go there and live there for a month. Then you can ascend ten meters to another level where you know another kind of fish lives, and live there for a month. In this way you can live underwater while going about to different places and harvesting fish wherever you go. It is very possible that things like this will come to pass in the future. By thinking about them now, I am paving the way for the age to come when we will live underwater. (236-310, 1992/11/09)


10 One of my plans is to develop the North Pole. I plan to build a permanent city below ground, under the land covered with snow that has accumulated for tens of thousands of years. If we build a city with all the modern conveniences in that place, I am sure everyone on earth would come there at least once. I would also like to build a university, one-third of which would be underground.

We would not need a heating system if we built it this way. It would be cool in the summer but not cold in the winter. Further, were two dozen students to gather for class, they would naturally generate enough heat Without the need to burn fuel. Our body temperature is 37 degrees Celsius. Generally, 10 degrees Celsius is warm enough for ordinary living. Since our body temperature is 37 degrees, once you have several people, the heat they give off would be enough to heat their underground room. With the students there, the entire place would warm quickly.

Such a time is coming. When it does, we will begin to experience a mode of life where everything in modern civilization, including its economy, will move in step with the natural world. The time has come for us to make a determination that we will innovate all of our systems to create the ideal world. (236-311, 1992/11/09)


11 I foresee many changes coming to the ocean-related industries. In the future, the industry will have to farm fish. Even though we are engaged in the seafood industry, I already recognized that it will be difficult for anyone to sustain their marine business in the years to come unless they combine it with tourism and develop some sort of ocean recreation industry.

Everything that we do requires money and raw materials. However, above all, we must cultivate human resources and develop our personal networks. For whatever work or business we do, we need people. Especially, in the marine field, our main challenge is to find people who regard work on the ocean as God's calling. We need people who will love the ocean throughout their entire lives—during their youth, middle age and senior years—and who, before they die, will teach their sons and daughters and even their grandchildren to also love the ocean. 12 I predict that in the future, the leisure industry will develop greatly. People who live in the city suffer from stress and need stimulating activities in order to relieve that stress. What can they do? To me, there are three ways. One is hunting, another is horseback riding and the last is fishing.

Nonetheless, there are limitations to hunting and horseback riding. Horseback riding is expensive, so only a particular class of people can enjoy it. As for hunting, people can do it into their forties, but once they are over 50 it becomes difficult to enjoy. Also, in many nations only a certain class of people can hunt for sport. However, anyone can fish from an early age. People can enjoy fishing even when they get older and are in the evening time of their lives. That is why I am saying that the fishing business will grow to become a global business. (207-123, 1990/11/01)


13 The recreation industry has to cater to people who enjoy all sorts of leisure activities. You may think, "People with money would enjoy this, but how can people without money do it?" However, that is not the case. Even now, people go on vacations. Even people with little money can manage to take a vacation once or twice a year.

In the future, through my leading role in the recreation industry, I will create a global organization that will bring together people from all walks of life, including those in the financial field, based on their shared love of recreational activities. I believe this will be a shortcut to guiding all people toward a world of peace. That is why for several decades I have been researching, planning and pioneering all sorts of ocean-related businesses. (252-210, 1993/12/30)


14 I think that from now, in addition to the business of providing recreation on the ocean, we need to engage in businesses that promote recreational farming on land. In the future, people will have more time to enjoy themselves. Once that time comes, the question will arise as to how they will use that time. When this happens, I suggest encouraging them to prepare about one-sixth of an acre as a garden and take up gardening as a hobby. Then they can harvest and enjoy their own vegetables.

In addition, what about raising baby animals like deer and releasing them? What about farming fish and releasing them as well? People will farm all sorts of grains and harvest organic, natural crops without using synthetic chemicals. How wonderful! People will experience creating all the things that God created. Then, gazing at all these things that they worked to create, they will think about God and appreciate Him for His creation. In this way, they will enjoy their life with all kinds of hobbies in the world of nature. By caring for the natural world in every way possible, people will enjoy living in harmony with nature before they go to the spirit world. Once they experience this, they will naturally move away from todays urban-centered society. (252-210, 1993/12/30)


15 What kind of world will unfold in the future? We will drive pilings into the seafloor in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and create hotels there. We will make use of the versatility of helicopters. At the press of a button they will fly us anywhere we want to go. Since flying for three or more hours gets boring, people will fly for an hour or two and then stop to relax at a floating hotel in the middle of the Pacific. How fantastic that will be! To make this possible, we will build hotels in the Pacific. When guests have finished relaxing at the hotel, they will travel again for about two to three hours, then stop for lunch at a floating restaurant. Then they will rent a boat and take their family deep-sea fishing. (203-058, 1990/06/14)


16 Soon the era of automobiles will pass and the era of light aircraft will begin. People from the big cities will fly to scenic spots that are only to be found in the heart of the mountains. Secluded pools will be built there, and fishing spots will be developed, where they can swim and fish. In the future it will be easy for people to rent an airplane as often as they like. We have entered an era when plane rental businesses can do well. That is why I am creating an aircraft company.

Large cruise ships will have a deck like an aircraft carrier that can handle dozens of small submarines and small helicopters. The ship will move slowly enough that passengers will use the helicopters on board to travel to nearby islands for fishing and then return to the ship. Others will use small boats to travel out to fishing spots near the islands and then return. I am saying that such a time is coming. Or, knowing the ship's itinerary, people can take a helicopter to one of the destinations a week early and then rejoin the cruise on the ship.

On the ship there will be facilities for wealthy business people to do all the business they want to do, with conference rooms, computers and the Internet. The era is coming when people will enjoy traveling while working at the same time. (276-032, 1996/01/02)
