《 The Urantia Book 》

122:1.2 (1345.1) Mary, the earth mother of Jesus, was a descendant of a long line of unique ancestors embracing many of the most remarkable women in the racial history of Urantia. Although Mary was an average woman of her day and generation, possessing a fairly normal temperament, she reckoned among her ancestors such well-known women as Annon, Tamar, Ruth, Bathsheba, Ansie, Cloa, Eve, Enta, and Ratta. No Jewish woman of that day had a more illustrious lineage of common progenitors or one extending back to more auspicious beginnings. Mary’s ancestry, like Joseph’s, was characterized by the predominance of strong but average individuals, relieved now and then by numerous outstanding personalities in the march of civilization and the progressive evolution of religion. Racially considered, it is hardly proper to regard Mary as a Jewess. In culture and belief she was a Jew, but in hereditary endowment she was more a composite of Syrian, Hittite, Phoenician, Greek, and Egyptian stocks, her racial inheritance being more general than that of Joseph.

Quoique Marie fût une femme ordinaire de son temps et de sa génération, d’un tempérament assez normal, elle comptait, parmi ses ancêtres, des femmes aussi illustres que Annon, Tamar, Ruth, Bethsabée, Ansie, Cloa, Ève, Enta et Ratta. Nulle femme juive de l’époque ne possédait un lignage ayant en commun des ancêtres plus illustres ou remontant à des origines plus prometteuses. Les ancêtres de Marie, comme ceux de Joseph, étaient caractérisés par la prédominance d’individus vigoureux, mais de niveau moyen, sporadiquement rehaussés par de nombreuses personnalités hors ligne, s’affirmant dans la marche de la civilisation et de l’évolution progressive de la religion. Du point de vue racial, il est difficile de considérer Marie comme une Juive au sens propre du mot. Par sa culture et ses croyances, elle était Juive, mais par ses dons héréditaires elle était plus un composé de souches syrienne, hittite, phénicienne, grecque et égyptienne ; son hérédité raciale avait des bases plus larges que celle de Joseph.

122:1.2 (1345.1) María, la madre terrenal de Jesús, descendía de una larga línea de inimitables antepasados que comprendía muchas de las mujeres más notables de la historia racial de Urantia. Aunque María era una mujer promedio de su tiempo y generación, con un temperamento relativamente normal, contaba entre sus antepasados a mujeres muy bien conocidas tales como Annón, Támar, Ruth, Betsabé, Ansie, Cloa, Eva, Enta y Ratta. No había en aquel tiempo otra mujer judía con una genealogía más ilustre de progenitores comunes y corrientes, o una que se remontara a los más auspiciosos comienzos. Tanto los antepasados de María como los de José habían sido de temperamento fuerte pero común dando de vez en cuando numerosas personalidades destacadas en la marcha de la civilización y la evolución progresiva de la religión. Desde un punto de vista racial, no es plenamente apropiado considerar a María como judía. Era judía por cultura y creencias, pero en dote hereditaria era más bien una combinación de razas, a saber: siria, hitita, fenicia, griega y egipcia, o sea que su herencia racial era más heterogénea que la de José.

Obwohl Maria in ihrer Zeit und Generation eine durchschnittliche Frau mit ganz normaler Veranlagung war, zählte sie doch zu ihren Ahnfrauen so berühmte Namen wie Annon, Tamar, Ruth, Batseba, Ansie, Cloa, Eva, Enta und Ratta. Keine jüdische Frau jener Tage besaß eine glänzendere Ahnenreihe, noch eine, die zu vielversprechenderen Anfängen zurückreichte. Gleich denjenigen Josephs waren auch Marias Vorfahren überwiegend starke, aber durchschnittliche Individuen, aus denen ab und zu zahlreiche außergewöhnliche Persönlichkeiten herausragten, die sich im Fortschritt der Zivilisation und in der Höherentwicklung der Religion hervortaten. Vom rassischen Standpunkt aus gesehen, ist es kaum richtig, Maria als eine Jüdin zu betrachten. In ihrer Kultur und in ihrem Glauben war sie eine Jüdin, in hereditärer Hinsicht aber mehr ein Gemisch aus syrischen, hethitischen, phönizischen, griechischen und ägyptischen Erbanteilen. Ihr rassisches Erbe war also breiter angelegt als dasjenige Josephs.

Ни у одной еврейской женщины того времени не было родословной, в которую входили бы более знаменитые прародители или которая восходила бы к более благоприятным истокам. Род Марии – как и род Иосифа – отличался преобладанием сильных, но обыкновенных индивидуумов, среди которых периодически появлялись многие личности, внесшие большой вклад в развитие цивилизации и прогресс религии. С расовой точки зрения, Марию едва ли можно считать еврейкой. По своей культуре и вере она была еврейкой, однако по своей наследственности она являлась скорее смесью сирийских, хеттейских, финикийских, греческих и египетских кровей, обладая более широкой расовой наследственностью, чем Иосиф.

122:1.2 (1345.1) 땅에서 예수의 어머니였던 마리아는 유란시아의 종족 역사에서 아주 놀라운 여자들을 많이 포함한 선조, 길게 이어진 독특한 선조들의 후손이었다. 마리아는 비록 그 시절과 세대에 상당히 정상 기질을 가진 보통 여자였지만, 그 여자는 아논ㆍ타말ㆍ룻ㆍ밧세바ㆍ안지ㆍ클로아ㆍ이브ㆍ엔타ㆍ라타와 같이 이름난 여자들을 선조로 여겼다. 그 시절에 어느 유대 여인도 마리아보다 더 뛰어난 혈통을 가진 공통된 조상이나, 더 상서로운 시작까지 거슬러 올라가는 혈통을 가지지 않았다. 마리아의 족보의 특징은 요셉의 족보와 마찬가지로, 굳세지만 보통 사람이 주류를 이루었고, 이 족보는 문명이 진전되고 종교가 차츰 발달하는 동안에 이따금 수많은 뛰어난 인물이 나타남으로 변화가 생겼다. 종족 면에서 고려하면, 마리아를 유대 여인으로 보는 것은 도저히 마땅치 않다. 교양과 신앙 면에서 마리아는 유대인이었지만, 유전 자질로 보면 오히려 시리아ㆍ힛ㆍ페니키아ㆍ그리스ㆍ에집트인 혈통이 혼합되었고, 마리아의 종족 유산(遺産)은 요셉보다 더 평범하였다.
