<P>A 5-10, 173-lbs. guard, Barrett played with the San Antonio Spurs summer league entry in the 2005 Rocky Mountain Revue. Last season as an NBA rookie, he played with the Houston Rockets and Orlando Magic, and combined to average 3.1 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 38 games. </P>

<P>Smith, a 6-10, 215-lbs. forward, played last season with the Yakima Sun Kings of the Continental Basketball Association and averaged 13.4 points and 6.0 rebounds in 14 games. Smith was originally selected by the Chicago Bulls in the second round (53rd overall) of the 2003 NBA Draft out of Arizona State University. In 2003, he averaged 7.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in four preseason games, but was waived by Chicago after spending the first 28 regular season games on the injured list. </P>

<P>Entering his third NBA season, Hunter played in 31 games for the Orlando Magic last season and averaged 3.1 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. </P>

<P>Hunter, 25, was originally drafted by the Boston Celtics in the second round (56th overall) of the 2003 NBA Draft, and averaged 3.5 points and 3.3 rebounds in 36 games during his rookie campaign. The 6-7, 255-lbs. forward was selected by the Charlotte Bobcats in the 2004 Expansion Draft, but was traded to Orlando for Keith Bogans prior to the 2004-05 season. </P>

<P>A four-year starter at Ohio University, Hunter finished his collegiate career with the Bobcats as the school’s all-time leader in rebounds, free throws made and free throws attempted. As a senior, he led the NCAA with 12.6 rebounds per game and averaged 21.5 points. </P>

<P>He is scheduled to sign a contract Friday, pending the results of a physical, the team said. Terms of the contract were not announced. </P>

<P>McCarty has averaged 5.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in 557 games over nine seasons with New York, Boston and Phoenix. </P>

<P>The 6-foot-10 McCarty was traded in February from Boston to Phoenix, where he averaged 3.5 points in 28 games while helping the Suns to the best record in the Western Conference. </P>

<P>McCarty helped lead Kentucky to the 1996 NCAA title, then was drafted 19th overall by New York.</P>

Buckner is expected to receive the Nuggets' biannual exception, a one-year deal worth $1.67 million. Meanwhile, coach George Karl said he did not expect Person, a guard who aided the team in its late push last season, to return to Denver, at least not right now. </P>

클리퍼스 이번엔 좀 성적좀 제대로 내자...캐이만-브랜드-매거티-모블리-카셀(숀 리빙스턴) 어디하나 꿀릴거 없는 라인업인데...
클리퍼스 슬슬 벤치 보강하네요. 전력은 플옵 컨텐더 인데 결과는 어떻게 될지 정말 궁금하군요.

브랜든 헌터 매직과 재계약한 게 아니었군요 .. 아깝네요. 자와드 윌리엄스도 기대해 봅니다. 매직은 정말 .. 지지난 시즌의 유일한 수확이었던 키스 보건즈를 왜 보낸 건지 모르겠네요. 스윙맨 라인 처리의 의도가 있었지만, 아까운 건 사실입니다.
