	2 (2)	Heat	55-19	In case you still need convincing that Shaq makes a difference, be advised that Heat had only 13 road wins last season ... compared to 22 already with five road games left.
	3 (3)	Spurs	54-19	Spurs are nearly back to .500 without Duncan (5-6), and dare we also say Duncan can find a playoff rhythm quickly even if he doesn't play before the regular season ends.
	4 (7)	Mavericks	49-24	You can deal with a lopsided L at Cavs after Ws at Detroit, Boston and Philly -- in the same week Stack and Damp return.
	5 (8)	Nuggets	41-31	Throw out their last two games against Phoenix and Furious George has Nuggets on a stunning 17-0 run. Overall they're 14-1 at home for the new coach and 10-5 on the road.
	6 (4)	SuperSonics	50-23	Wondering what keeps Sonics up here? Slump or not, injuries or not, Sonics are still 23-14 against .500-plus teams, second only to San Antonio's 26-14. Phoenix is third at 24-15.
	7 (6)	Pistons	46-27	Pistons players can get frustrated with Larry, but they do miss him at times, too. To wit, they're 9-8 without him and followed up a 9-1 record February with a 9-8 March.
	8 (9)	Bulls	41-31	It looks safer and safer to put the 0-9 No Mores in the same club with Phoenix when it comes to making the playoffs after a dreadful start. Suns, remember, opened 0-13 in '96-97.
	9 (5)	Rockets	44-30	Just when we were ready to anoint Houston as the Lower Seed No One Wants To Face out West, Rockets played New Orleans at home on April Fool's Day ... and lost. No joke.
	10 (14)	Pacers	38-34	The way these guys are rolling without J. O'Neal -- specifically Reggie, who averaged 19.1 ppg in 31.2 mpg in March -- Pacers have to be the East's most feared bracket buster.
	11 (11)	Wizards	41-31	If healthy, Wiz have the playoff capacity to entertain if nothing else. Arenas-Jamison-Hughes ranks as the NBA's highest scoring trio by five points over Amare-Marion-Johnson.
	12 (15)	Timberwolves	39-35	Did you see KG on TV after the win at Sac? His enthusiastic warning about Wolves ''coming'' strikes us as a good sign; it was the most KG-esque bravado we've seen from him for ages.
	13 (13)	Grizzlies	41-31	Swift is out suddenly and might be gone permanently when he hits free agency this summer. Will he be missed? Memphis is 10-8 when he's sidelined and 31-23 when he plays.
	14 (12)	Kings	45-30	Kings apparently need more games against Philly. They've looked tough both times they saw Webber, but the fact remains that Sac is 13-16 since checking in at 32-14 on Feb. 4.
	15 (10)	Celtics	39-34	If you got excited about the 11-1 start to the latest 'Toine Era (and we did) you have to be concerned by the 1-5 stumble since. And we are, especially now that 'Toine is hurt as well.
	16 (17)	Cavaliers	38-34	One overlooked factor that led to the coaching change: Silas came to Cleveland promising second-half surges from his teams ... but Cavs faded in both of his seasons.
	17 (20)	Warriors	28-45	Trivia time: Who has the best record in Cali since the All-Star break? Yup: Warriors are 13-7; Lakers are last at 7-16.
	18 (16)	76ers	36-37	The pressure's on AI, and not just because of Webb's shoulder. This could be the first time since '76-77 that the league's top two scorers (AI and Kobe) miss the playoffs.
	19 (18)	Nets	35-39	The more we think about it, the harder it is to see how snaring the East's final playoff berth will make a huge difference to Kidd when it comes to his wanting to stay or go.
	20 (21)	Magic	35-38	Maybe the unraveling is subsiding, although we suspect that Saturday's victory in Jersey did more to hurt Nets' playoff bid than help a Magic team missing Hill, Hedo and Jameer.
	21 (19)	Clippers	33-41	Only four times in franchise history -- twice in Buffalo and twice in L.A. -- have Braves/Clips finished with a better record than Lakers. The last time it happened: 1992-93.

	25 (23)	Knicks	29-43	More bad news for Steph. Suns' success makes it three straight teams to win at least 50 games in their first full season after Steph leaves (along with Wolves and Nets).
	26 (26)	Bucks	28-45	Word is that Porter is next in line on the Endangered Coaches List. The local paper, in fact, offers a poll asking fans if the coach should be brought back for a third season.
	27 (25)	Bobcats	15-57	We're pulling for a surging Brevin Knight to get that assist average into double digits. The NBA hasn't had two 10-assist men since Stock and our man Mark Jackson in '96-97.
	28 (28)	Jazz	22-50	In this What Next season, now it's Boozer out for the season. Kirilenko was first, meaning that Utah's projected frontcourt stalwarts played just 25 games together in Year 1.
	29 (29)	Trail Blazers	24-48	Some Blazers news, at last, that we're excited to hear: Van Exel, one of our faves, has decided against retiring at season's end.
	30 (30)	Hawks	11-62	Obinna Ekezie is Woodson's center and Royal Ivey is his point guard. Which is another way of saying that, yes, the rookie coach deserves the No. 1 overall pick for his suffering.

파워랭킹으로만 보면 필리하고 뉴져지가 8강진출을 다투는 형세인가요? 클리퍼스보다 낮은

레이커스도 눈에 띄는군요.

덴버가 과연 5,6위도 위협할 수 있을까도 관심입니다. 이미 서부 1위~4위는 확정된 듯합니다. 하지만 킹스, 휴스턴, 덴버 이 셋이 5,6,7위중 어느 것을 선호할까가 관심이고요.

멤피스는 아마도 8위하지 않을까 합니다. 미네소타도 좋지만 자력으로는 이미 힘들어보입니다.

동부의 경우도 1~3위는 확정적이고, 4위,5위는 시드차이일 뿐이지만 시카고가 4위할 것같죠. 인디아나는 6위를 지키고 있지만 일주일동안 5번이나 게임을 한 클리블랜드가 지옥 일정을 마치고 정리하는 입장에 있어 아직 확정적은 아닙니다. 8위는 필리, 올란도, 뉴져지의 대결..마지막 가봐야 알겠습니다.

저는 달라스의 1라운드 상대로 휴스턴이 되었음 합니다. 왜냐고요? 토렌토로 달라스 경기 무조건 올라올테니까요..
