Fusion 50 Power System Choices :
The Fusion 50 has been designed to accept a wide variety of power systems. Your final choice may be dictated by your performance requirements, equipment you already have, and your modeling budget.
As a general rule, with increasing cell count (voltage) current draws will be lower for the same final power output. While the helicopter flies well on all the below combinations, the higher cell count setups (10 or 12s) will have the highest power at the lowest current draws.
For all combinations a motor of at least 2500 watts is required. The Scorpion 4025 series is a good choice. The motor kv can be different from that shown, and head speed corrected with a different choice of pinion (the main gear is 129T). This table is for example only.
