민수기11장 말씀입니다.

[사랑하는 나의 가족]

1. 백성이 불평하니 {주}께서 그것을 기뻐하지 아니하시니라. {주}께서 그것을 들으시고 분노하사 그들 가운데 {주}의

    불이 붙게 하시고 진영의 맨 끝 부분에 있던 자들을 소멸시키시매

And [when] the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard [it]; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed [them that were] in the uttermost parts of the camp. 

2. 백성이 모세에게 부르짖으므로 모세가 {주}께 기도하니 불이 꺼졌더라.

And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the LORD, the fire was quenched. 

3. 그가 그곳의 이름을 다베라라 하였으니 이는 그들 가운데 {주}의 불이 붙었기 때문이더라.

And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of the LORD burnt among them. 

4. 그들 가운데 섞여 사는 무리가 탐욕에 빠지매 이스라엘 자손도 다시 울며 이르되, 누가 우리에게 고기를 주어 먹게

    할까?

And the mixt multitude that [was] among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat? 

5. 우리가 이집트에서 마음대로 먹던 물고기와 오이와 수박과 부추와 양파와 마늘을 우리가 기억하거니와

We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:

6. 이제는 우리의 혼이 메마르고 이 만나 외에는 우리 눈앞에 아무것도 없도다, 하니

But now our soul [is] dried away: [there is] nothing at all, beside this manna, [before] our eyes.

7. 만나는 고수풀 씨 같고 그것의 색깔은 마치 델리움 색깔 같았더라.

And the manna [was] as coriander seed, and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium. 

8. 백성이 두루 다니며 만나를 거두어 맷돌에 갈기도 하고 절구에 찧기도 하며 납작한 판에 굽기도 하고 그것으로

    납작한 빵을 만들었는데 그것의 맛은 신선한 기름 맛 같았더라.

[And] the people went about, and gathered [it], and ground [it] in mills, or beat [it] in a mortar, and baked [it] in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil.

9. 밤에 이슬이 진영에 내릴 때에 만나도 그 위에 내렸더라.

And when the dew fell upon the camp in the night, the manna fell upon it.

10. 그때에 백성이 두루 그들의 가족대로 울되 저마다 자기 장막 문에서 우는 것을 모세가 들으니라. 이에 {주}께서 크게

      분노하시고 모세도 기뻐하지 아니하여

Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent: and the anger of the LORD was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased.

11. 모세가 {주}께 아뢰되, 주께서 어찌하여 주의 종을 괴롭게 하셨나이까? 어찌하여 내가 주의 눈앞에서 은총을 입지

      못하며 또 주께서 이 온 백성의 짐을 내게 떠맡기시나이까?

And Moses said unto the LORD, Wherefore hast thou afflicted thy servant? and wherefore have I not found favour in thy sight, that thou layest the burden of all this people upon me?

12. 이 온 백성을 내가 수태하였나이까? 내가 그들을 낳았기에 주께서 내게 말씀하시기를, 양육하는 아버지가 젖먹이를

      품듯 그들을 네 가슴에 품고 내가 그들의 조상들에게 맹세한 땅으로 가라, 하시나이까?

Have I conceived all this people? have I begotten them, that thou shouldest say unto me, Carry them in thy bosom, as a nursing father beareth the sucking child, unto the land which thou swarest unto their fathers?

13. 이 온 백성에게 줄 고기를 내가 어디서 얻으리이까? 그들이 나를 향하여 울며 이르기를, 우리에게 고기를 주어

      우리가 먹게 하라, 하오니

Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat.

14. 이 일이 심히 무거워 나 혼자서는 이 온 백성을 감당할 수 없나이다.

I am not able to bear all this people alone, because [it is] too heavy for me.

15. 주께서 나를 이같이 대우하실진대 원하옵나니 내가 주의 눈앞에서 은총을 입었거든 즉시 나를 죽여 내가 내 비참한

      모습을 보지 않게 하옵소서, 하니라.

And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found favour in thy sight; and let me not see my wretchedness.

16. {주}께서 모세에게 이르시되, 이스라엘의 장로들 중에서 네가 백성의 장로로 또 그들을 다스리는 관리로 알고

      있는 자 칠십 명을 내게로 모으고 회중의 성막으로 그들을 데려와 거기서 그들이 너와 함께 서게 하라.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee.

17. 내가 내려와 거기서 너와 말하고 네 위에 있는 영을 취해 그들 위에 있게 하리니 그들이 너와 함께 백성의 짐을

      담당하고 너 혼자 그것을 담당하지 아니하리라.

And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which [is] upon thee, and will put [it] upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear [it] not thyself alone.

18. 또 너는 백성에게 이르기를, 내일을 대비하여 너희 자신을 거룩히 구별하고 고기를 먹을지니라. 너희가 울며 {주}의

      귀에 대고 말하기를, 누가 우리에게 고기를 주어 먹게 할까? 이집트에 있을 때가 우리에게 좋았다, 하였으므로

       {주}께서 너희에게 고기를 주어 먹게 하시리라.

And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for [it was] well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will give you flesh, and ye shall eat.

19. 너희가 하루나 이틀이나 닷새나 열흘이나 스무 날만 먹을 것이 아니라

Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days;

20. 그것이 너희 콧구멍에 넘쳐서 너희가 그것을 싫어하기까지 한 달 내내 먹을지니 이는 너희가 너희 가운데 거하는

      {주}를 멸시하고 그분 앞에서 울며 말하기를, 우리가 어찌하여 이집트에서 나왔던가? 하였기 때문이라, 하라.

[But] even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you: because that ye have despised the LORD which [is] among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt? 

21. 모세가 이르되, 나와 함께 있는 이 백성 중에서 걷는 남자가 육십만 명이온데 주께서 말씀하시기를, 내가 그들에게

      고기를 주어 그들이 한 달 내내 먹게 하리라, 하셨사오니

And Moses said, The people, among whom I [am], [are] six hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month.

22. 그들을 위해 양 떼와 소 떼를 잡은들 그들에게 족하오며 그들을 위해 바다의 물고기를 한데 모은들 그들에게

      족하오리이까? 하매

Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them?

23. {주}께서 모세에게 이르시되, {주}의 손이 짧아졌느냐? 네가 이제 내 말이 네게 이루어지는지 그렇지 아니한지

      보리라, 하시니라.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORDS hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.

24. 모세가 나가서 {주}의 말씀들을 백성에게 고하고 백성의 장로 칠십 명을 모아 성막의 주위에 세우매

And Moses went out, and told the people the words of the LORD, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them round about the tabernacle.

25. {주}께서 구름 가운데 내려오사 그에게 말씀하시고 모세 위에 있던 영을 취해 칠십 명의 장로들에게 주시니 그 영이

      그들 위에 머물 때에 그들이 대언을 하고 멈추지 아니하였더라.

And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that [was] upon him, and gave [it] unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, [that], when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.

26.그러나 그 사람들 중에서 두 사람이 진영에 남아 있었는데 하나의 이름은 엘닷이요, 다른 사람의 이름은 메닷이더라.

     그들 위에 그 영이 머무니라. 그들은 기록된 자들 중에 있었으나 성막에 나아가지 아니하였더라. 그들이 진영에서

     예언을 하므로

But there remained two [of the] men in the camp, the name of the one [was] Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they [were] of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in the camp.

27. 한 청년이 달려와 모세에게 고하여 이르되, 엘닷과 메닷이 진영에서 예언을 하나이다, 하매

And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp.

28. 모세의 청년들 중 한 사람 곧 모세의 종 눈의 아들 여호수아가 응답하여 이르되, 내 주 모세여, 그들을 금하소서,

      하니

And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, [one] of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.

29. 모세가 그에게 이르되, 네가 나를 위해 시기하느냐? {주}의 온 백성이 대언자가 되어 {주}께서 그들 위에 자신의

      영을 두시기를 원하노라! 하니라.

And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the LORDS people were prophets, [and] that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!

30. 모세와 이스라엘의 장로들이 진영으로 돌아왔더라.

And Moses gat him into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.

31. 바람이 {주}에게서 나와 바다에서 메추라기를 가져다가 진영 옆 곧 진영의 사방에, 이편으로 하룻길 되는 곳과

      저편으로 하룻길 되는 곳에 떨어지게 하니 그것의 높이가 지면에서 이 큐빗쯤 되었더라.

And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let [them] fall by the camp, as it were a days journey on this side, and as it were a days journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits [high] upon the face of the earth. 

32. 그 날에 백성이 일어나 온 낮과 온 밤에 그리고 그 다음 날에도 온 종일 메추라기를 모으니 적게 모은 자도 십

      호멜을 거두니라. 그들이 자기들을 위하여 진영의 사방에 그것들을 널리 펴 두었더라.

And the people stood up all that day, and all [that] night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread [them] all abroad for themselves round about the camp.

33. 고기가 아직 그들의 이빨 사이에 있어 그들이 씹기도 전에 {주}의 진노가 백성을 향해 타올라 {주}께서 매우 큰

      재앙으로 백성을 치셨으므로

And while the flesh [was] yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD smote the people with a very great plague.

34. 그가 그곳의 이름을 기브롯핫다아와라 하였으니 이는 그들이 탐욕을 낸 백성을 거기 묻었기 때문이더라.

And he called the name of that place Kibrothhattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted. 

35. 백성이 기브롯핫다아와에서 이동하여 하세롯에 이르러 하세롯에 거하니라.

[And] the people journeyed from Kibrothhattaavah unto Hazeroth; and abode at Hazeroth.
