1. 선학평화상 제정의 참뜻 

원모평애재단(원모평애장학원)은 노벨평화상을 능가하는 선학평화상을 제정할 것입니다. 하늘의 뜻과 인류의 평화를 위해서 크게 공헌한 사람이나 단체는 역사적인 자리에 서게 될 것입니다. 원모평애재단이 바라는 크나큰 성업 앞에 여러분이 다 동업자, 동참자가 돼주셔서 역사에 남기를 기원합니다. (2014.2.9, 천정궁)

요즘에 내가 남태평양의 오염 문제를 다룬 프로그램을 봤습니다. 위성사진으로 지구를 보게 되면, 넓게 펼쳐서 있는 태평양에 조그만 섬이 하나 보입니다. 하와이 제도가 생기게 된 이후로 거기에 서식하고 있는 동식물을 보존해야 합니다.

그런데 그곳이 인간으로 인해서 많이 파괴된 것입니다. 몇십 년 후에는 우리가 해산물을 먹지 못할 시대가 오게 될 것이라고 예언한 과학자들이 있습니다.

계획 없이, 절제 없이 마구 잡아드리고 산호초를 파괴하니까 말입니다. 전 인류에게 선학평화상을 인식시켜야 합니다. 이것이 기존의 상들과 다릅니다. 노벨상과도 다른 것입니다. 인류를 사랑하는 하늘부모님의 마음을 앞세워서 한국뿐만 아니라 일본, 미국, 전 세계에 선전해야 합니다. (2015.9.17, 천정궁)

인류는 그동안 환경파괴를 많이 했습니다. 이것을 본래대로, 하늘부모님께서 창조하신 원상으로 복구하는 데에는 시간이 걸리겠지만 우리가 해야 할 일입니다. 미래의 2세와 3세권, 우리의 후손들을 위해서도 반드시 지금 우리가 해야 합니다.

그렇기 때문에 나는 이번에 최고의 과학기술과 지식을 갖춘 과학학술원을 세우겠다고 말했습니다. 그래서 실질적으로 하나하나 치유할 방법, 좋은 결과를 맺을 방법을 연구하고 찾아내서 가르쳐주려고 합니다.

이것이 일이 시급한 일입니다. 그런 점에서 내가 할 일이 많습니다. 그것이 내가 선학평화상을 창립한 이유이기도 합니다. 혼자보다는 여럿이 하나 되면, 힘이 가해지고 강해집니다. 그래서 우리는 한 목표를 향해 하나가 돼서 나아가야 합니다. (2016.8.22, 천정궁)

1. 鮮鶴平和賞制定の真の意味 

「圓母平愛財団（圓母平愛奨学苑）」は、ノーベル平和賞を凌駕する「鮮鶴平和賞」を制定することでしょう。天のみ旨と人類の平和のために大きく貢献した人や団体は、歴史的な立場に立つことでしょう。「圓母平愛財団」が願う大きな聖業の前に、皆さんすべてが同業者、同参者となってくださり、歴史に残ることを祈ります。（2014.2.9、天正宮博物館）

最近私は、南太平洋の汚染問題を扱った番組を見ました。衛星写真で地球を見ると、広い太平洋に小さな島が一つ見えます。ハワイ諸島ができて以来、そこに生息している動植物を保存しなければなりません。

ところが、そこが人間によって大きく破壊されているのです。数十年後には私たちが海産物を食べられなくなる時代が来るであろうと予言した科学者がいます。

無計画に、節制なく乱獲し、サンゴ礁を破壊するからです。全人類に「鮮鶴平和賞」を認識させなければなりません。これは既存の賞とは異なります。ノーベル賞とも異なるものです。人類を愛する天の父母様の心を前面に押し出して、韓国だけでなく、日本、アメリカ、全世界に宣伝しなければなりません。（2015.9.17、天正宮博物館）

人類はこれまで、たくさんの環境破壊をしました。これを、天の父母様が創造なさった元の姿に復旧するには時間がかかるでしょうが、私たちがしなければならないことです。未来の二世と三世圏、私たちの子孫のためにも必ず今私たちがしなければなりません。

ですから、私は今回、最高の科学技術と知識を備えた科学学術院を設立すると言ったのです。そうして、実質的に一つ一つ治癒し得る方法、良い結果が得られる方法を研究して見つけ出し、教えてあげようと思います。そのことが急がれています。

そのような点で、私のすべきことがたくさんあります。それが、私が「鮮鶴平和賞」を創設した理由でもあります。一人よりは何人かが一つになれば、力が合わさって強くなります。ですから、私たちは一つの目標に向かって一つとなって進まなければなりません。（2016.8.22、天正宫博物館）

1. The true meaning of the establishment of the Sunhak Peace Prize 

The Wonmo Pyeongae Foundation (Wonmo Pyeongae Scholarship Institute) will establish the Sunhak Peace Prize, which will become more well-respected than the Nobel Peace Prize. People or organizations that have contributed greatly to the Will of Heaven and to peace in the world will come to stand in a historical position.

In relation to the successful activity that the Wonmo Pyeongae Foundation is anticipating, I hope that you will become partners and participants, and that your names will be remembered. (2014.02.09, Cheon Jeong Gung)
 
Recently I saw a program that was dealing with the problem of pollution in the South Pacific. If we see the earth in a satellite picture, in the vast Pacific Ocean, a small island can be seen. The animals and plants that have inhabited the Hawaiian Islands since their formation should be preserved.

However, the local population has greatly devastated the islands. Scientists have predicted the time will come when we will not be able to eat seafood. They are referring to the fact that without any plan or restraint we have fished randomly and destroyed coral reefs.

We must let all people know about the Sunhak Peace Prize. It is different from the existing prizes. It is even different from the Nobel Peace Prize. Putting the heart of our Heavenly Parent who loves all people in the forefront, we must publicize it, not only in Korea, but also in Japan, the United States and throughout the whole world. So far, human populations have greatly damaged the environment. Bringing it back to its original state, restoring it back to the original state of Heavenly Parent's creation, will take time, but it is something we must do.

For the second and third generations of the future and for our descendants, we must now accomplish this. For this reason, I recently said I would establish an Academy of Sciences that has the best scientific technology and knowledge.

Accordingly, we will research, discover and teach methods that can substantially resolve these problems one by one, methods that can bring about good results. This is a pressing matter. From that perspective, I have a lot of work to do.

It is also why I established the Sunhak Peace Prize. More than one person alone, if several people come together, their strength can be combined and more power is generated. Therefore, we must go forward having one goal and creating unity. (2016.08.22, Cheon Jeong Gung)
